Terrible customer service. I called several months ago, I received a quote, scheduled my first cleaning. They had to call me back to reschedule last minute. So I rescheduled, then the day of my new appointment, they had to cancel due to personal issues. So I received a brochure in the mail for $50 off the first two cleaning, I decided to try them again. I called customer service, they took my information to have a manager call in my area. I received a call from Jen Who left a voicemail, I returned the phone number and was told she is out of the office and she would call me back. Three days later I never heard anything. I called customer service, they didn’t even have my information in the system. It became very evident that there is a pattern here, and most definitely the beginning of a terrible relationship. I would not recommend this company at all.
We have had Gina and Steve cleaning our house since last June. They are reliable, friendly and do a good job. We can depend that they will be here every time they are due.
We were customers of the Cleaning authority for almost 10 years. Unfortunately, we were victims of a theft of some jewelry by one of their employees. When we called to discuss it, we were told "well, there was a supervisor there." The manager was rude and they didn't even look into the situation. Hopefully, they will be more cooperative with the police. We were appalled by the unprofessional attitude of the manager and the complete indifference shown by the company.
Do not work here or get services done here!!! Trust me ! The managers and owner himself Steven are the rudest people I've ever met !! And the employees dont care about your houses getting done right! If you do have their services make sure you check everything because the people there dont clean anything they just wipe it down. People have stolen from house , an employee overdosed on a customer's prescription drugs, a girl had her boyfriend follow her to the houses and left them unlocked so he could steal out of them too and much much more !! Like who even makes this stuff up ?? Leave these services immediately! Everything I'm saying is true and my wife was the employee working there and they told her so many things of what happened there. All them people working there are on drugs honestly. The owner Steven is a careless prick !! So are the "managers Jen , Michael and that other "lady".
Everybody, management and employees, is very nice and courteous. Cheaper than any previously cleaning services we used. The premises of their methods, detail-clean rotation system and eco friendly products, sound very catchy. Unfortunately being nice and having an interesting business concept goes only so far if their clean is not what we call clean. We gave them an honest try but now are looking for a new service: suggestions are welcome.
Terrible customer service from manager JEN! First of all, the cleaning was AVERAGE. Nothing to write home about. Second of all, I had to cancel a scheduled cleaning the day of -- last minute, I know, but I was home with the stomach virus and had no where to go. Even though I was home sick, they still wanted to charge me for the clean!! I understand that they have a policy to uphold, but I was home sick! You can't plan that happening. And the manager (Jen) was obviously not willing to negotiate with me. In the end I refused to pay and cancelled their services.
I have been using Cleaning Authority a little over a year and my current team (Team 11) has been with me for a little over 5 months. They do a great job. Always cheerful and couteous. Always arrive at approximately the same time every other Wednesday, yet are flexible when I need to make a change in schedule. Would definitely recommend this service.
They have been very courteous and thorough during their cleans. I have used them for 15 years and am very satisfied.
Gina and Steve are a wonderful team. They are very conscientious and have great attention to detail. They do a wonderful job in our home.
This company is atrocious. Not only do they have no value for their employees but the manager is rude. Their cleaning practices are not sanitary they rush to get things done because of overbooking/short staffing. Your house may look clean when they finish but it probably isn't. Some of the employees do their jobs properly and do a wonderful job while others will use a toilet brush to scrub areas of the kitchen including sinks and counters! A toilet brush that has been used on thousands of other people's toilets! I have seen this personally done in front of me and was completely appalled! This company’s behavior is completely unacceptable!
Ok, so the sales guy comes out and states the the first two cleaning would be more expensive then the rest. I get it! I was only looking for what was stated in the brochure that was origainally given to us when we signed up. So the first cleaning was under par. So we thought that what they didn’t get on the first cleaning they would address on the second cleaning. Remember these were suppose to be the more thorough cleaning! After the second cleaning I took pictures of all the things that were never addressed and called to inform them. Ceiling fans, kitchen cabinets, the bathroom shower/tub. Base molding were never addressed. Dust on all moldings around the doors. All in the brochure!! Then the guy (Mike) called me looking for payment. I paid them and would not recommend them to anyone! Very poor quality of work. And was told we can’t please everyone!!! Really nice
DO NOT USE!!! In July of this year, items were stolen from my home by the cleaners. They stole money from my daughter's wallet and hid the wallet behind her dresser. My apple watch charger and my Apple airpods were stolen. I was told by Beth that an Apple watch was stolen from another home and that the person in question was subsequently fired. I filed a police report and sent it to them. I was JUST told by Beth that they WOULD NOT reimburse me for my items. I am out over $300-I get nothing. However, as soon as I changed my credit card and it did not authorize, Beth was quick to call for payment. I cannot believe the lack of professionalism by the Mt. Laurel office and lack of customer service. I cannot believe that they would treat a 3 year customer this way. I trusted their staff in my home while I was at work. They are in the cleaning business, but are not accountable nor responsible when their cleaning staff steals from customer's homes. She talked over me the entire time we were on the phone. I am not in the wrong because I want reimbursement. Now I have to change the locks on my home. So what if they give you the keys back, did other staff make copies? This has never happened to me before, but I definitely don't want it to happen to you. I hate the fact that I had to give 1 star in order to post.
Great service, great price!
We just had our second Initial Clean, performed by Gina and Steve. They were excellent! Professional, friendly and paid great attention to detail, all very important and necessary traits for people entrusted to clean your home. We are so glad we met them and I will be requesting them as our usual team. We are thrilled with the work they did!
EXTREMELY Disappointed. Don’t be fooled by 5 Star ratings written by professional raters. The description in their brochure of their services sounds wonderful however they don't come close to following the schedule or the thoroughness. I TRULY don't believe they use any cleaning products. No odor anywhere of any cleaning products used. Glass surfaces, mirrors, stainless appliances always smeared (toothbrush scrub the grout, HA!). Hit and miss on everything. I could go on and on.
We've been using this service for two years. Once the team was established, happy with the consistency. Even with periods of personnel turnover, Mary (5 star) has always had pride in her work and in developing her team.
Good stuff
We used this service for six months, and had multiple instances of major areas ignored. To preface: We keep our house "guest ready," and used the service to address those deep clean needs that we just couldn't do on our own each week. After cleans, we would come in from work to find floors that hadn't been touched, windows that weren't wiped down, stovetop ignored. We called back at one point and requested another team come out to clean again, which was provided free of charge (as it should have been), but overall, it became an ongoing issue of the house not being cleaned to our standard. The breaking point came when the team was spending less and less time in the house, and yet still leaving major areas below standard.
