After a pipe in our basement sprung a leak & we had water & condensation throughout our unfinished basement , the plumber we used in an emergency recommended to call SOIL AWAY to evaluate the damage. It was a Friday afternoon & after speaking with my husband about what happened, they did not waste any time coming over & assess the damage. They immediately brought fans & dehumidifiers to dry up the water damage & condensation. They were totally on top of things with continued follow up after a couple days & again a couple days later. The staff was always friendly, courteous, & knew what they were doing. The clean up they did was great & they returned all furniture neatly. The project manager John M was great to deal with along with his technicians Justin, Jordan & Cameron. I would recommend SOIL AWAY to others for any cleaning & restoration needs.

After a brief but severe rain/wind storm passed through recently we ended up with water throughout our garage and finished basement for the first time in the 30+ years of home ownership. Thankfully I remembered a great experience working with Soil Away many years ago for a carpet and tile cleaning project. This project was much different than our previous experience and much bigger in scope than anticipated but Soil Away quickly diffused any anxiety. Starting with the initial call and speaking with Jaime with her calm, helpful and reassuring demeanor, working with the professionalism and broad experience of Dan our Project Manager and Cam the Operations Manager regarding estimate, scope of project and updates throughout, to the amazing crew that worked through severe heat and humidity for two days without a single complaint. Matt the Lead Tech and his crew Mike, Alex, & Damon were consistently professional, paid phenomenal attention to detail, kept a meticulous work site, communicated throughout and were respectful and kind. Although I don't wish these types of issues on anyone I would HIGHLY recommend Soil Away from top to bottom if the need arises.

The response was incredible. This professional group assessed the situation and had sophisticated equipment set up and running to remedy our flooding and moisture within just a couple hours. I am rarely this blown away by amazing service. Soil-Away gave a high quality, professional experience from scheduling to the completion of work. This was a referral to me as I found it difficult to locate a duct company to come to my area. I got a quick estimate over the phone and easily scheduled service. When they arrived, they took me through their process and walked through the home with me to count the ducts and see the layout. I'd never dealt with hot air systems before and they told me basic care requirements for the system at the same time. I was off on the number of vents in my count so they immediately gave me a revised quote before starting (so no surprises at the end!) The level of care, attention and communication was notable throughout the process. They showed photos of the ducts (which were SEVERELY congested, I had no idea) and also cleaned my dryer vent (which I didn't know needed cleaning) which really made me value their work. They were also very respectful of our belongings and how I wanted to handle my pets while they were home. Because I was so impressed, I looked up the company online again as their truck advertised additional services I wasn't aware of. They do carpet cleaning too, which I happened to need. Even though the gentlemen servicing my ducts don't do carpet cleaning themselves but were able to take measurements while here and get a quote for me and even help me understand care. I'll refer Soil-Away all day. Thank you! Updates: 4/20 - My third time using this company - 4/20/2018. Service that continues to knock my socks off. Jeffrey came to clean my carpets. Again, did an excellent consult, had all of his ducks in a row, and remembered everything he learned from me from his visit a year ago. It makes it such a personalized experience. I LOVE the company I work for. When you read about this being a family owned business, they mean just that. We've all become part of that family. I've never been part of such a compassionate crew. I'm in the office daily, and love seeing a job come to the final end and hear how happy we've made our customers. That really is their main objective. They really try to help everyone they have the ability to help. Our company owner has care and concern for all of his employees, and will go above and beyond to help us. We discovered mold in our attic covering most of the ceiling and ruining the insulation we had put in there. The people at Soil Away took a very unpleasant situation and made it as painless as possible to fix it. They specifically stated in their estimate what they would do to remedy the situation, and then let me know the day by day progress that was made. The people working were always careful taking care of our property, and there was no mess left when they left. We did get an estimate from another mold remediation company, but the advantage of using Soil Away was that they not only removed the mold, but also installed the new insulation which the other company would not do. I strongly recommend this company.

I had water damage and Soil Away was sent out by my insurance company. They said they would take inventory of what was damaged/lost to submit to the insurance company, they did not. They broke a window and did not say anything. It took them weeks to replace it. I asked them for a quote for additional work. It took them 2 weeks to get back to me and it was more that double what it should have been, including double charging for items and more than double the square foot amount that was existing. I brought this to their attention and they emailed me saying they no longer wanted to do business with me. Frustrating experience. Will not recommend or use them again.
