I was extremely disappointed in the quality of work performed by the Merry Maids. They were hired to thoroughly clean my elderly parent's house, however, the baseboards were not wiped down, the kitchen floor was not cleaned next the kick boards, the kitchen cabinets fronts still had dirt spots, the fireplace mantel was not dusted, the laundry room sink was not touched and they did not even bother to clean under a rug in the entry foyer. I could go on and on... I was shocked by the amount of money they charged my parents for such shoddy work. I believe they were taken advantage of. We will never use this company again.

We have had Merry Maids since the Cape franchise opened and are very happy with the service. Our "maids" have all been friendly and professional. We have bi-weekly service and our house is always clean. I have never asked for something that wasn't provided. I have a curio cabinet which is a real pain to clean so I only occasionally ask that it be cleaned but when I do it is always done cheerfully. I am so happy to be a customer!

Merry Maids Cape Girardeau has cleaned my house several times. There is nothing like coming home to a house I didn't clean! They are always professional and do a wonderful job. I appreciate that if I have a surface cluttered with paperwork, they know that area is off limits (I dont want someone going through my mail and i know i can trust them not to mess with it!). When I choose a room for a deep clean, they get in every crevice. I mean, really, when would I think to clean my fan blades or top of my cabinets? When I want a good scrub on my house, this is the company I call.

My parents use the Merry Maids service in Cape Girardeau and are very, very happy with the work. They are seniors and really needed the extra help the last few years. Their "Merry Maid" has become an important part of their support system and helps maintain their quality of life. As a daughter with older parents who live very far away, it gives me great relief to know that this service is making their lives better. My Mother has always been a terrific housekeeper and her standards are high. If she sings their praises they have to be good!
