I had Hector and Chad out at my house today to do some duct cleaning. They were very friendly and Hector really knows his stuff! They did an amazing job! Hector had me walk them through the house, show them all the ducts and he gave me a quote right there on the spot. Due to my daughter having asthma, he showed me other services they could do and o felt absolutely no pressure with them! I did opt to get the vents sanitized because I thought that was a great option for keeping them clean. I got to see the before and after photos, which was cool and gross. Lol! I was very happy with the service and highly recommend them! I have an air purifier bin my living room that tells me the quality of the air. While it was being cleaned it was reading poor, to be expected. However, shortly after the finished it was detecting great air quality. I woke up super stuffy today and have for the last three weeks we've lived here. I can honey say I'm going to bed with a clear head and no congestion! We can already feel the improvement! This will definitely helps my baby's asthma!! Thank you!!

I was assured of every concern I had by a technician at a local home show. I was told before/after pictures were taken and that they had a scope camera to see everything to identify blockages or leaks in the trunk line. When my appointment was confirmed, I was told they only use cell phones as cameras. During the cleaning I was not provided a before and after picture. The technicians were friendly but when blowing out my ceiling vents left dust and ceiling popcorn in their path. I was also told they could not do my dryer vent because it was on the roof. They kindly tried to upsell me on a furnace cleaning, chimney cleaning (chimney of my furnace) and sanitizer. The technicians never took off their shoes nor used shoe covers when coming in the house from outside; thankfully it was a nice day. My sister had a cleaning 2 days before me and had the additional trunk line chaos and held firm when they tried to tell her that her 1600 sq ft townhome has 4 trunk lines (she paid for 3). More unsettling is that the additional services that they attempted to upsell us on were not the same price. I would think a "furnace" cleaning would be the same price for everyone (per unit).

We had a great experience with this company and specifically with Tom and Nick. I called and got an appointment in a matter of days with a two hour window of 11am-1pm. I received a courtesy call the day before, and then today I got a call from dispatch telling me the team would be here in the later part of the window, around 12:30pm. Around 11:00am, I got a call directly from the techs saying they would be here at 11:30am. I was so impressed with the communication about the timing so I wasn't stuck waiting and wondering. Tom and Nick went through the house with me and wrote out the cost before starting the work. The cost aligned with the quote given to me over the phone last week. They were able to complete 6 rooms, 2 sets of stairs, and a hallway in just over an hour. They were kind, funny, and a pleasure to have in our home. When all the work was done, they again went over the billing statement, walked through a few rooms to show us the work that was done, and wished us a good day. The cost was VERY reasonable and we will HAPPILY call Rasmussen for our next cleaning.

I set up an appointment today and they were supposed to show up between 2-4. They don't show up. I get a phone call at 3:50 and they left a message that they were having truck problems and had to reschedule for the next week. It was inconvenient but they offered a discount. I managed to work around my work schedule to be able to be home so I will give a 4. I heard good things about their service from my neighbors.

This company is A+ TOP NOTCH! We had our carpet first cleaned by James and David, and they were great. We went back for duct cleaning, after experiencing some major dust mite issues, and no sleep for several months because of them. James came in again, meticulous and attentive to all details about the issue. We had a 89.95 coupon. They said they wouldn't upsale. I told them I was selling my home and they took it down to an Economy? I thought ok, great. One less brush. When they came to my home they said it was $300. The sales guy called the office and they said if we only wanted what was on the coupon, to leave. What?! thankful my husband is patient and caller her himself. She honored the coupon. More thankful for Nick the service guy. He was patient and willing to listen. He got the job done and did a great job. Now if the owner who answered the phone had not upsold us, and the receptionist had not said to leave (clearly so I could hear)...our experience would have been great. Hoping sales go a bit smoother in the future.

Got a coupon in the mail for about $90 for duct cleaning. I called to get more information on the company and what they do. Coupon was for 10 vents, 2 trunk lines, and dryer vent cleaning. During the call, I described the house, the square footage, etc. Person said with what we have, price will be $390. He explained what the increase was for and I was okay with it as we have a bigger house. When the "tech" came out, he had no idea about the price quoted to me over the phone and told me that the cost would actually be $690. He told us we have 40 vents and 4 trunk lines, all of which add up significantly. No dice. We sent him on his way. Called another company...told them of my previous experience. Person from new company said, you must be talking about Rasmussen and that they hear this all the time. Their technician said two trunk lines, 29 vents. Performed the job for under $500.

We are very impressed! The timeliness of the appointment, the 2 phone calls confirig the appointment and letting us know thru were 20 minutes away. They walked us through our options, and explained the process, and were done 1.5 hours and our carpets look brand new! Even the stairs! The technicians (Adam and Tom) called to ask if they could come an hour early - I was delighted. I had them do the whole deal - clean the furnace/AC, sweep the ducts, even clean out the bathroom exhaust fan ducts. They did a beautiful job, even showing me before-and-after photos of the inside of the ducts. Finished on time, left NO mess whatever, and were cheerful and professional throughout.

I was very pleased with the overall friendliness and service with Rasmussen Cleaning. We got our ducts cleaned, sanitized along with our furnace and dryer vent. They were on time, extremely friendly and knowledgeable and did a phenomenal job. My only issue is that what I thought would be a 300-400 dollar job ended up costing me way more money. Now granted, this all needed to be done as my furnace is very old and the previous owners never cleaned the ductwork or furnace area. Be prepared to ask questions about potential costs that a phone call won't cover. Other than that, i'm am so happy that we used them. They even pulled a birds nest out of our dryer vent! Our thermostat is now keeping up with no problem and we are getting heat from the vent that didn't blow air before.

I especially like the fact that Rasumssen uses both brush and whip methods to clean ducts --- most (if not all) other companies use one or the other, not both. I feel very deceived. I signed up for the $89.95 duct cleaning for my one bedroom 900 square foot house. I have an unfinished basement where you can see all my duct work. I have 12 vents and knew that they would charge for the extra 2 vents and I also knew that I would need access panels cut into my duct work which the scheduler did tell me would be extra. When the 2 guys came out they told me that it was going to cost me $348 for the basic cleaning and then tried to up-charge me for a sanitize and blower motor cleaning totaling $533. Being that my bill was already almost 4 TIMES what I thought is was going to be I declined the extra options. The coupon says that it includes 2 trunk lines and I was charged for 2 additional "half mains" which cost an extra $140. As far as I can tell I might have one extra trunk line because there are 3 vents coming off my furnace. I took the day off work to have this done. If I hadn't I would have just sent them away. I feel like the coupon that they offer is a complete bait and switch and I am not happy about it. There was a lot of correspondence in the scheduling process where they could have given me more information about the pricing but they didn't. I can only imagine the cost that someone with an average size house would pay!

Yesterday we had our heat/cold air ducts, chimney and dryer vent cleaned by Rasmussen Cleaning. Top quality job! I was impressed by Beau and Trevor their knowledge, patience and enthusiasm in answering my questions and showing/explaining the different roto-brushes used for a complete, thorough cleaning. They installed 5 access panels in the trunk lines for the roto-brushes. Cleaning the transient ducts was listening to rock and sand material which had been there since the house was built, being vacuumed into their truck. They recommended for a thorough chimney cleaning using a titanium power brush. I watched as soot continued to come down into the hearth box. I thought I was going to see Bert the "Chimney Sweep" emerge. They took before and after photos of the trunk lines and chimney to show and explain the problem then the result. They finished by cleaning out the dryer vent (included free with the air duct cleaning) and removed dangerously collected large amounts of lint. The true testament to how thorough their work, our son came home and said the house smelled cleaner. Both Beau and Trevor were cognizant and empathetic to leaving our home clean, enthusiastic, efficient, knowledgeable and professional. They did an outstanding job! It's wonderful as a homeowner to feel trust and confidence in the work being completed properly. The air ducts haven't been this clean since they were originally installed. We definitely highly recommend Rasmussen Cleaning for furnace and air duct cleaning.

The guys were very friendly and professional. They worked hard. They showed before and after pics of the duct cleaning. The carpets look way better. The dryer vent was eye opening... It could have been a fire hazard. It was good to get it cleaned. The guys did a great job. The only downsides were the amount of dust left behind, which on the bright side forced me to do some deep cleaning I would not have otherwise done, and the cleaning of the staircase. I have old cream carpet on the stairs coming in from the garage and it is impossible to keep clean. The carpet cleaner improved it dramatically, but the stains did not come out as I would have hoped by calling in the professionals. Over-all a 4. The service guys did great. The stairs are not their fault, so I would definitely recommend them to others.

Synopsis: I would recommend this service to others. Pros: - Received calls to confirm my appointment (one before the appointment on the Friday, along with Tom call right before he comes) - Tom was on-time - Tom was very nice and professional. Was respectful of my house (took off shoes and gentle when bringing his equipment in) - Showed me pictures of the vent that he took before and after the cleaning and showed my filter after he was done. - Spoke me through all the charges and talked through the pros/cons of the service Cons: - The price quoted v. the price paid at the end was nearly double. There was no mention of the A/C coil or the blower motor and the fees associated with that. Overall: You get what you pay for. if you want the cheapest job possible they can certainly do it, but then don't expect it to be looking new if you don't pay for it. As far as the service goes it was great. Tom cleaned up after himself and put the vents back on. I cannot complain at all about the service I received.

My husband and I feel very misled by this company. We had been quoted from an a/c & furnace company for $500 to clean the ducts. So we waited to find a better deal. We saw Rasmussen at the Minneapolis Home and garden show and stopped to talk to them because of their coupon for $89 for the first 10 vents. James talked to us and found out the size of our house and told us some additional things that would have to be done to clean the vents and told us the cost should be about $300. This is way more than the $89 they suck you in for, but it was less than the other company’s $500. We booked an appointment and James came back and went through the house and told me that there was an extra trunk and a half. And now the cost was just about $500! No cheaper than the other company! Later in the evening we had a different compay come over for a quote on a furnace and he told me it looked like I was taken advantage of and that all house had that “extra trunk and a half.” He advised that my husband call rasmussen to get some clarity on the price. He said his company has a flat rate of $399 for 20 vents. My house is not that big the price I paid is outrageous! I feel so stupid and taken advantage of for being sucked into their “deal.” Also the guy from the furnace company pulled out a big ball of lint from my clean vent. And they left the basement door unlocked after going outside. I’m not a happy customer and will not do business with them again.

Synopsis: I would recommend this service to others. Pros: - Received calls to confirm my appointment (one before the appointment on the Friday, along with Tom call right before he comes) - Tom was on-time - Tom was very nice and professional. Was respectful of my house (took off shoes and gentle when bringing his equipment in) - Showed me pictures of the vent that he took before and after the cleaning and showed my filter after he was done. - Spoke me through all the charges and talked through the pros/cons of the service Cons: - The price quoted v. the price paid at the end was nearly double. There was no mention of the A/C coil or the blower motor and the fees associated with that. Overall: You get what you pay for. if you want the cheapest job possible they can certainly do it, but then don't expect it to be looking new if you don't pay for it. As far as the service goes it was great. Tom cleaned up after himself and put the vents back on. I cannot complain at all about the service I received.

Unreal service from beginning to end. James and Mandel were great guys who were on time, courteous, and all about creating a relationship for repeat work. We had our ducts cleaned out and ended up having our carpets cleaned as well. James was not pushy at all and presented all our options and acknowledged our new furnace and what was and wasnt needed to be done in our home.. Air quality is already improved and the suction in our brand new furnace (different company installed) is humming nicely with great air flow. The filter the day after Rasmussen got done was brown...meaning the air duct cleaning worked and got everything out of the home. Air quality in our home was superb throughout the process as everything was done timely and with vent covers to keep the dust in the system and out the door in the vacuum. The carpet cleaning was second to none and I don't think I'll ever use another service (Ive used a competitor before and a personal home steam cleaner). They went back and forth with a hand scrubber and got all the urine out of the carpet. We have never been able to get yellow dog urine out of our white carpet, but they did. I'm not joking. We had all our ducts, trunk lines (with several entry points that needed to be cut in as this was the homes first duct cleaning), drier line, and 2 rooms carpet cleaned for a great value.

Hector and Chad arrived promptly for their scheduled time and went right to work on my carpet in the basement. I had water damage from a March rain and so there were places that were matted down and the carpet had a distinct odor. I did not have high hopes the carpet would look okay afterward. However, when they were done, the carpet looks really good and the smell is gone. Also, they were able to finish in an hour. I'm very happy with the results.

Horrible experience!! We have a newborn at home, so thought it would be a good idea to get our vents cleaned. Contacted Rasmussen and were quoted $90 for the two main trunk lines w/10 vents + $10 for each extra vent, as well as free dryer vent cleaning. We have a small house and this seemed reasonably priced. We asked them if it was safe for my wife and newborn to be home and were assured it was just fine as no dust would escape. When the “technician” shows up, he first says he can’t do the dryer vent at all because it has metal flex tubing. I’ve never seen a dryer vent that uses anything else so I have no idea why that was a deal breaker to get it cleaned. Next he tells us that we have additional trunk lines that are $200 extra. We’re not well educated in the art of understanding vent trunk lines, so a mention of these tripling the price immediately might have been nice to know when they quoted us a price. “Tech” also tried to up sell us on getting our water heater venting cleaned for $100 extra and have our vents sanitized for $200. We told them just to complete the job, without the extras, but of course with the sneaky trunk line increase. We probably would have accepted this price increase if the “tech” not done a HORRIBLE DISGUSTING RIDICULOUS job. He didn’t cover any of the return vents and dust billowed out throughout our entire house. The included pictures don’t even do it justice at all for how gross it was. Everything around those vents was covered in a fresh layer of ancient dust. We contacted the company and told them we were obviously not satisfied. They first disagreed with me that the "tech" reported no blow back from the vents. When I provided pictures, they offered to come back out in 2 weeks and redo the job, with a free system sanitation. Interestingly when the same “tech” came back for the redo, he covered every vent and amazingly he was able to also clean the dryer vent!! Hallelujah it’s a miracle… This company is a joke, don’t use them. Find someone without all the hidden price increases and who actually does a good job.
