Great Service! Hard workers! Great people! Overall a great experience with American Sewer. Donald came for an inspection and looked over the damage, such a friendly guy! Dave is who came to repair and wow is he a hard, determined and great worker. Got the job done which is a plus but he was very humble and honest as well. We didn’t personally meet Johnathan but he was also a nice, caring and a considerate guy. Very honest people and they helped us save time & money. I will definitely save their number!

These guys were incredible. Our main sewer backed up into our finished basement. We had called Roto-Rooter first and they came out but couldn't clear it and told us we needed to dig up our yard and wanted $6500.00. We called American Sewer and both Seth and Dave worked on it for hours but were able to snake the problem out even though we have 200' line. They even discovered that we have a cleanout in our yard that we didn't know about. They're amazing and saved us thousands. Couldn't be happier. Use them.

I called American after a referral from our local Plummer for a clogged kitchen sink. I had done everything that a homeowner could do including having my snake almost 20 feet down the drain multiple times and treating it with chemicals. They were able to fit me in same day which was amazing as the roads were terrible and we had recently come off a record setting cold snap. They were the cheapest in initial visit ($100) of anyone I called. Everyone else was $149. In addition, it seemed that if the clog was as bad as I thought it was, they had the equipment for unfreeze, fiber optics, etc. The tech arrived early and put 70 feet of snake down my drain unclogging it within an hour. He cleaned up and only charged me $100. I would highly recommend them! Keep in mind though if they can’t do it with a snake it seemed like the prices could escalate quickly. This isn’t unexpected given the complexity and machines involved just something to be aware of.

They were great! We were told our pipes were shifting/collapsing by others and could do nothing but replace pipe and connection back to street, even with "camera" inspection. $7k. Said our pipes were fine but connection to city was the problem. City disagreed. No resolution. We have been renting machine from hardware store periodically for years to keep drain flowing and everything had been fine. Recently neighbours across street had work done. Our basement backed up suddenly. We were unable to root through. We hired American to come fix the pipes once and for all. They found it was just a big root and drilled through it. We have been drilling a quarter size hole through the root, while they were the only competent company to drill through the actual size of my pipe. The city should be redoing our street soon I hope, and they will fix any root issues. Donald saved a single parent of 2 teens with one bathroom thousands of dollars. Thank you so much. These guys do what it takes.

Great company! We called late in the afternoon and they did everything possible to make it out here the same day. The workers were very courteous and explained everything they were going to do before they did it. They were very reasonably priced and cleaned up the area once they were finished. Amercian Sewer LLC was referred to me by JD Plumbing. This is why I liked them: 1. They arrived at the beginning of the estimated time. 2. They explained what they were going to do. 3. When they found another problem, they explained how they were going to fix that problem and did it. 4. They did not charge me overtime hours despite going to 6 pm. 5. The time they estimated for the project was quite accurate. Great work from the team.

Seth came out and he was wonderful he tried to snake the line but he said, “I’m sorry, I think your pipe is broken and I don’t want to waist your time and money trying to keep cleaning it out.” He said, “We have a great guy who can help you!” Soooo Dave came out the next day! Rob did a great job with a tough sewer job. At one point he said that "it was the most difficult one he'd ever had to do." Even with that the price was as agreed upon before the job began. American Sewer is a great answer to a frustrating problem. The staff at American Sewer is friendly, prompt and professional. They do what is needed to be done to get the job done. I manage rental properties, and American Sewer continuously earns our business. Seth was at a property yesterday, and when clearing the lines, he found another plumbing issue. Seth took the time to alert us to the issue and advise us on what to tell our plumber. This “above and beyond” service is what we have come to expect from all the technicians and staff at American Sewer.

Honest Critique

Friendly staff, great work. Our kitchen sink had backed up, and we had initially called a local plumber. And THEY asked to call American Sewer. It was already noon on a Friday and they were still able to get us in at the last minute for same day service. This saved us money as weekend rates are higher (which they really didn’t need to do as they would have gotten more money from us the next day). The work performed was top notch and they even cleaned up the area once they were done. Also, once they opened up the pipe, they found that the clog was just in the u-pipe, but they still went ahead and used the augur to make sure there were no clogs down the drain (about 25 ft). All this was done in less than an hour, and the technician took extra care not to make a mess. Technician was friendly and answered all our questions. The receptionist was friendly and kept me posted on schedule and what time the technician would be at the house. Text notifications when they are on the way so you know to expect them. I will be sure to use this company going forward.

Great experience. Had a drain backup. The plumber (John) ran the auger then used the video camera. Saw standing water about 40 ft out after running the auger. He ran the auger again for free just to ensure the standing water wasn't due to an object that he didn't get the first time. Turns out the standing water is likely due to a pipe belly, so there was nothing that could be done in the moment, but I really appreciate the extra time he spend to ensure his job was thorough!

I found American Sewage through Groupon. We had a clogged shower drain. I spoke with a guy named Seth, who was very helpful, and described our problem. He came out in early December and unclogged the bathroom drain. Then, even though they work mainly with clogged drains and sewage, he patched a leaking pipe under the kitchen sink. Recently, the kitchen sink pipe began leaking again. I called to see about having them come back out and fix the issue. Even though they don't primarily do plumbing work, the owner called me directly and discussed with me how to make things right. He came personally to do the repair again. I am very impressed with the integrity and 'above-and-beyond' attitude that Jonathan (owner) and the folks at American Sewage exhibited to help us resolve our issue. I highly recommend them for all drain clogs and sewage services!

I needed an emergency plumber the other night and came across this company on google. I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome and response. The technician Donald arrived very quickly and was extremely friendly. I have used another company in the past, which was also good, but I get a better feeling supporting a smaller local company. Donald provided excellent service and answers to all of my questions. He went above and beyond my expectations. Not only did he fix my issue, he took the time to go outside, with special tools, and locate my main area of concern for a future repair. OUTSTANDING! The owner (I believe) Jonathan contacted me the next day for a small missed check over from that night, and made sure everything went well. Superb!
