Cleaning For a Reason helps women battling cancer offering them (2) free house cleanings from a cleaning service near where the woman lives. I am so blessed to have received those (2) cleanings from delightful people working for The Cleaning Advantage. They did a great job while I continued to recuperate while not being able to lift anything, vacuum, or even drive! I can't thank you enough for the wonderful experience. This time, my apartment looked worse than when I moved in. But this company cleaned it and made it look great again. One of the things that I truly appreciate is that they are always on time. Most of the time the cleaners who do my house are punctual, friendly, and thorough. Karen tries to keep her teams of 2 cleaners together so clients know who to expect. I've been using The Cleaning Advantage for almost two years and 90% of the time they are prompt and except for a few times, are the same crew. They love my standard poodle and she follows them around while they clean. I teach piano and they use a special soft mitt to dust my baby grand. They dust all my pictures on the walls and the mantel which has lots of knick knacks on it. When they leave after about 1 1/2-2 hours, the house looks and smells clean.The sinks and bathrooms and very clean. Often they will ask me if I want a little something extra done. Occasionally if I'm going to have a lot of company I'll ask them to (within reason).If you need to change your time slot, Karen will work with you to try to reschedule. Finally, all the cleaners have been very trustworthy, leaving possessions on top of dressers or computer desks alone. Their quality of work and their trustworthiness are rare in the cleaning industry.

I'd like to tell you about the extraordinary experience I had with the Cleaning Advantage I have chemical sensitivities, asthma, etc. I searched and searched for any cleaning service which might have environmentally safe products, someone who knew what a difference a HEPA vacuum could make for air quality, and finally a service that was paying their staff appropriately. I'd felt really bad with the last cleaning service, their young foreign girls always had a look of fear in their eyes and rushed like they were on a super tight schedule expecting the driver to come and get them any minute. With Karen and her staff at the Cleaning Advantage, how can I say it, I got it all! She assigned two women for a one day cleaning of the house as we were moving out. I stayed during the day since I had lots of loose ends to attend to. I got to see how thoroughly they cleaned. They even made, what I thought was a lost cause, our shower look white again. The women were pleasant and proud of their work. A+
