I hired Ocean State because of the reviews and the promises on their website. They sent two young men in t-shirts and jeans who were in and out of the house in an hour. I paid for the "deep clean" initial fee and let me tell you they didn't really clean anything. I did let the company know and they didn't seem too interested in fixing it. My advice - stay away, unprofessional.

I don't know why I waited so long for a "deep clean". The girls did an amazing job cleaning every nook & cranny and I'm so happy with the results. Am definitely doing the deep clean twice a year and am going to start the basic services too. This is the first Saturday in years that I haven't spent half my day cleaning. I'm sooo happy...the house is spotless!!!!

Shiny... That's the word that keeps coming to my mind a week later today. I hired this company to come out to my dad's home to do a deep cleaning. His health has been in decline and after returning home from a hospital stay I knew it needed one. And... a week later everything still looks "shiny and clean." The team was a dynamic duo of two very enthusiastic, hard-working gals ~ Ms. Jessica R. and Ms. Andrea M. They arrived right on time and within a few minutes commenced to the job at hand. They were professional and clearly gals "with a plan and good skills!" While my dad's home is small they didn't leave any areas unattended. For 8.5 hours they worked in tandem, and clearly worked their cleaning plan. The checklist this company provides leaves absolutely nothing out, and these gals followed it "block by block" and reviewed it with me to ensure we were satisfied. I was very impressed ~ to include my dad who's never felt anyone could clean as well as himself! So, in closing if you're hesitant to hire them ~ don't be especially if you hire this team :-) And moving forward I've decided to hire them on a regular basis that's how satisfied we are! p.s. Incidentally, Jessica and Andrea ~ really kind gals too!

Ocean State House Cleaning is one of the best cleaning services I've ever used and I've used a number of different companies over the years. Dion in the office is very knowledgeable and helpful and so is their teams manager Teresa. I've had over 20 bi-weekly cleans over the last year and each time the team has shown up in uniform and ready to get to work. They do a fantastic job at a very reasonable rate. Some of the team leaders I've had are Esther, Andrea, Jordan and Lori. All have gone above and beyond to make sure I'm pleased with the work being done. I've referred them to several of my relatives and my next door neighbor just hired them as well. Highly recommended.

We have had weekly basic cleaning services for almost 2 years now for my 4000 sq ft home. We have Shannon's team and they do a fantastic job at helping me keep my house up to par so I can enjoy what little free time I have with my family instead of washing floors and scrubbing bathtubs.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a cleaning company. The 2 women that came were very lazy and doing everything half assed. They never moved a rug, a knickknack or anything else. The worst is that they used Windex to clean my furniture, which I was very shocked. They came with taped up vacuum cleaners and were supposed to be here for 3-4 hrs for a first clean, and were finished in an hour. They did nothing and had to be directed every step of the way. I was supposed to be charged $175.00 for this job. The quality control manager came to my home to see how they were doing, and literally, had to go over dusting and redirecting them to do floors, rugs etc.. This was by far the worst! I wouldn’t recommend them to do a dog house, that’s how bad it was. I refused to pay $175.00 for this service and the quality control manager said she wouldn’t take any less than $150.00 and thought she was doing me a big favor. They will be reported to the Better Business Bureau as soon as possible. I lost $150.00 of my hard earned money to have to clean my whole house all over again myself! I am appalled and will never recommend them to anyone. They should truly be ashamed of their work and not be kept in business.

They should not be in business. I would NOT recommend them to anyone. As a new customer their employees broke a window in our house and because the employees didn't admit it we are just out of luck on getting our money back. First they wouldn't even call us back in reference to the issue. Then they offered to pay us and now that we have the bill it is "oh well we will do you a favor by cleaning your house for free 2 times" which doesn't EVEN cover the cost of getting the window fixed! Extremely unprofessional service and clearly they have no ethics or morals and you CAN NOT rely on their word.

I have a very busy working schedule and 4 kids. I barely have time for anything, and cleaning is not one of my top priorities these days to be honest. At one moment I realized I need help with this, so I asked some friends of mine, they were long term customers of New England Pro-Maids claiming that they were really satisfied with the customer service and quality of work which they do. My first appointment with them was Deep clean after which I signed up for weekly cleans to keep my home at a good hygienic level. I must admit I was not expecting much, but these guys surprised me as they cleaning is very detailed and efficient. I was even considering throwing away some appliances, furniture, items, etc. before these guys cleaned them up and they looked like renewed. I couldn't recommend them more!!

He takes the lead at our home with at least one other individual working to give our home a clean and polished feel and look. We've been with Ocean State for some time now and there hasn't been one instance of a no show. On the contrary, there has always been punctuality and professionalism. The key is communication and follow through. And Paul and Ocean State have always come through for us. Even our Maine Coon cats love it when the OS crew arrives! If you want a recommendation from us - you have it. OS does so many good things on behalf of the community through volunteering and charitable services. Our first visit was a deep clean and the cleaning was done well and to our satisfaction. The staff were knowledgeable, worked hard and got the job done in the time frame given in the initial quote. The cleaning products used were very effective without leaving behind a strong scent. I was told all their cleaning products are from Eco-Lab, which I know to be high-quality because the hotel I work at also uses them. All in all a good experience. I’ve hired them to clean every other week.

The Quality Manger had to help re-clean after the staff and after they left I discovered that I too had to re-clean. I think they mopped my floors with a dirty mop- leaving it tacky and filthy. Their vacuum also did not work, or at least that was theory behind why so much dust and dirt was still on floors. Friendly people, but awful cleaners. Extremely disappointed.

I own several properties that I rent out as airbnb's. I hired New England ProMaids about 8 months ago to help me manage the properties in between stays. I have about 2-5 turnovers a week in the summer season and I need the properties cleaned and staged. I also need laundry taken care of so that my tenants have clean towels/sheets/blankets. NEPROMaids worked with me to make sure that everything goes as smoothly as possible. I have been very satisfied with their work (special shout out to Colleen's team and Marta's team!) and very pleased with Matthew and Amanda at the office who have gone above and beyond customer service-wise. They really have made my life easier and, since I work 50+ hrs a week at my job, I really appreciate that.

I have been a weekly client of Ocean State House Cleaning since 2008 and I have nothing but good things to say about them. Twice a year we also have a deep cleaning performed where they come in and wash our walls and windows. The cleaning crews are almost always spot-on and the few times we've had a cleaner with a poor attitude it was always dealt with promptly by the office. The teams wear shoe covers in our home when they clean and they are very careful to prevent cross-contamination by using different colored cleaning cloths for certain rooms. They recently switched over to flat mops which I noticed do a fantastic job on the floors. Our wood floors always gleam after the cleaning. Every few cleans they send out a manager to check on the work quality. The newest manager named Alicia seems to be very on top of things and is very pleasant to deal with. Any time we ever had an issue, which has been rare, the office always is quick to make corrective action. I recommend this company highly.

my wife and I have been using ocean state house cleaning for about 5 years now and we could not be happier! we both work crazy long hours and come home to juggle 3 kids whom are all under the age of 13 so you can only imagine the disaster they leave. its nice to be able to come home and not have to worry about cleaning the house after a long day and also freeing up our weekend to spend more time together as a family. we highly recommend this company.

NE Promaids has been servicing my home for almost 20 years! I was one of Anne's original clients when she first started out many years ago and she used to clean my house herself at one point. There have been some ups and downs as the company grew. Some staff were better than others and some of her office staff were a downright hindrance. I wasn't particularly happy with Kara many years ago and then she hired someone named Dion, whose customer service skills were highly lacking the last few months he was there last year. However, I have been increasingly impressed with the current office staff and the teams of cleaners over the past 10 months. Both Amanda and Matthew have been very accommodating and have handled my account with much professionalism. Amanda even came out after my last cleaning to personally check the team's work, which is something Dion NEVER did. The quality of the work being done by the new teams is phenomenal. You can tell management is right on top of things now. If you haven't ever used NE Promaids, I recommend you give them a try. If you've used them in the past, and weren't too thrilled, I suggest you give them another chance. They are not the same company they were a year ago. All the "bad eggs" are gone. The new staff are really on top of things and actually seem to give a damn, which, sorry to say, I couldn't say a year ago.

New England Promaids has provided excellent service to my home during my pregnancy and after the birth of my 2nd daughter. I have them come every week and it's a load of my shoulders to have the house cleaning taken care of. I wish I had hired them the first time I had a baby. On a few rare occasions, the team that came out missed a few things but the company was super responsive and had the issue fixed quickly. I know that work like cleaning can be subjective, so it's nice to know that if I don't feel something is to my standards, that they will bend over backwards to make it right. We hired New England Pro-Maids ( AKA Ocean State House Cleaning) to do a deep cleaning on our home. We didn't find out until after the cleaning when we ran into problems with them that they were the same company as Ocean State House Cleaning, using the fictitious name New England Pro-Maids in an attempt to hide all the negative reviews they were receiving under that business name. I verified this by searching for them on the RI Secretary of State website that shows the company is owned by the same person. Things seemed great at first. They arrived on time and the 2 woman who came to clean spent most of the day in our home. They were very friendly and I believe they worked hard, but we noticed a bunch of problems after they left. None of our 3 bathroom toilets were cleaned, or even had an attempt made at cleaning them. Every window in our home (34 of them) were cleaned with something dirty which left a film all over every single window that looked worse than they were before being "washed", and now we have to hire professional window cleaners to come fix it. One of our brand new windows was broken and would not stay up due to being forced, which caused the clip that hold it into place to get stuck at the bottom, preventing us from closing the window all the way. We had to call our window manufacturer to find out how to fix it and they left without telling us about it. Our kitchen counter tops were not washed and were covered in all the dust from their cleaning. Lastly, we had to spend 4 hours taking apart our refrigerator and freezer on the Sunday after this cleaning because they left the doors open too long which caused our condensers to freeze up and stop refrigerating and cooling, which made $400 worth of our food go bad. We had to use a heat gun to defrost the coils, and then put the refrigerator back together. At the end of the day, they charged the incorrect credit card. We had originally given them a card and had to change it to a new card later on. We had to all and ask them to refund the $490 and put it on another card. When the new charge finally came through they charged us $525 and said it was because "we have an industrial stove and they forgot to charge us the first time". We never authorized any additional charges, have a 60 inch range which is not an industrial stove and they charged it without even asking us. We are within our rights to charge back the additional fees with our credit card company, but fortunately an attorney lives in this house and we are just going to take them to small claims court for the cost of the lost food, and for the $400 we will need to pay to hire window cleaners to clean up the mess. Do not do business with a company that adds a bunch of fictitious names in an attempt to hide negative reviews. Also, all of the reviews posted here appear to be fake. How can a bunch of 5 star reviews all posted within the last week? Beware of this company.

NE Promaids has been servicing my home for almost 20 years! I was one of Anne's original clients when she first started out many years ago and she used to clean my house herself at one point. There have been some ups and downs as the company grew. Some staff were better than others and some of her office staff were a downright hindrance. I wasn't particularly happy with Kara many years ago and then she hired someone named Dion, whose customer service skills were highly lacking the last few months he was there last year. However, I have been increasingly impressed with the current office staff and the teams of cleaners over the past 10 months. Both Amanda and Matthew have been very accommodating and have handled my account with much professionalism. Amanda even came out after my last cleaning to personally check the team's work, which is something Dion NEVER did. The quality of the work being done by the new teams is phenomenal. You can tell management is right on top of things now. If you haven't ever used NE Promaids, I recommend you give them a try. If you've used them in the past, and weren't too thrilled, I suggest you give them another chance. They are not the same company they were a year ago. All the "bad eggs" are gone. The new staff are really on top of things and actually seem to give a damn, which, sorry to say, I couldn't say a year ago.

A tenant of mine just moved out so I wanted to have their unit professionally cleaned. I came across New England Pro Maids website and based on the reviews I saw online figured I'd give them a try. By no means were they the cheapest cleaning service but still I figured it would be worth paying the extra money to have it done right. With the deep clean and additional services I paid for the total came out to $405. The unit I paid to have cleaned is a 3 floor unit (1300 total sq ft) with 12 windows and no furniture other than a small coffee table and a couple chairs left by the previous tenant. You would think with no obstacles in their way cleaning it would have been a breeze. The first floor of the unit was completely ignored. There were only 3 windows on this floor for them to clean which they didn't even touch. Not only does the deep cleaning service say that it includes cleaning the inside of windows and tracks but I paid an additional 7$ per window to have the outsides cleaned as well. Not a single window in the entire house was cleaned on the outside and the insides weren't cleaned very well either (I know because I ended up cleaning them all over again myself). I could tell they attempted to clean the second and third floors but did a horrible job. The kitchen stove and refrigerator which I paid extra to have cleaned inside and out were covered in this white powder. The stove has a pullout drawer at the bottom which was not cleaned neither was the freezer or microwave. Heck they didn't even dust on top of the fridge or wipe down the kitchen countertops...pure laziness. The toilets and shower were the only things touched inside the bathrooms. You could tell by looking at the baseboards that someone wiped along the tops of them but didn't bother dusting the vent in between or vacuum underneath. All floors and walls were supposed to be washed as well but they didn't look it. Their customer service is just as bad as their ability to clean. Even if you call during normal business hours good luck getting anyone to answer. You're basically forced to leave them voicemails which they never respond to. The cleaning happened on a Tuesday morning, over the next 3 days I kept calling in/leaving voicemails and eventually got someone on the line (Matthew). After explaining how poor of a cleaning job they did it was clear that he didn't really believe me. One of his responses was "we had a manager cleaning your house that day...". He said all they could do was offer a refund of $20 for the 3 windows on the first floor that his team completely missed, what about everything else!?!? I asked if they could send someone back out to reclean but apparently they were booked that weekend and it would of had to wait until the following week which I didn't have time for. I was so frustrated at this point I agreed to pay the $385 just to be done with the BS. So in the end I lost $385 and had to spend my weekend recleaning the house, don't let this happen to you!

With a large brood of kids plus an in-law living with us finding time to clean the house is tough and the mess the kids make is even tougher. I've been through several cleaning services in the past 2 years because many services start out great and then start to go flaky or they just stink from the get-go. These folks have been spot on from day one. I appreciate that they bring their own stuff. A few companies I've hired made me supply everything myself and although not a deal breaker, it does kind of detract from the point of having to not worry about cleaning or cleaning supplies. Hire these folks if you're looking for great cleaning services. Can't say it enough! You won't be sorry!
