absolutely LOVE getting my condo cleaned by MyBostonMaids! they are consistent, never cancelling an appt last minute like other services I've used, and their cleaners are AMAZING! i've had a few different cleaners, all have been great, but the stars have been Jay and Eloisa. I feel totally comfortable with them in the apartment when I'm not home and they both are totally open to my specific requests. Another thing I love about MyBostonMaids is the customer service when scheduling an appointment, making payment, etc. They're always courteous and swift. I've been a Bostonian for 9 years, I've been through the mill with cleaning companies, MyBostonMaids is BY FAR the best of them all. Oh, and did I mention they have totally reasonable pricing? Yeah, that too.

I can't even give this company any stars because Jay decided to not have a crew come clean my house after making me wait an hour and a half for a crew to show up. I made an appointment for a certain time which they changed less than 24 hours before the appointment. They ask for an hour window but still no crew showed up after an hour and a half. Jay said the crew was 30-45 minutes away so the earliest they would get here was 2 hours after the scheduled time that THEY switched the appointment to. Initially Jay said he would send me a $50 off my next service email which I never got although they sent 5 emails and 2 texts reminding me of the appointment at a time that they ended up switching. I STILL tried to be reasonable and reschedule to another day but once Jay heard that I would be contacting Groupon to get a refund from them he all of a sudden said he wouldn't send a crew to clean my place at all ever. He proceeded to interrupt me and would not listen to anything I had to say once he heard I would write reviews. He has the worst customer service, communication and business skills. He also tried to lie about his name after telling me Jay twice, saying his name was John Smith -__- However, Groupon DID refund me the full amount I paid and I did already purchase another cleaning service through another company. Stay away from this shady sketchy company.

I used MyBostonMaids for the first time today and couldn't be happier with the service. Their blue team, Lucia, Vera & Jay, showed up right on time and worked diligently the 2 hours they were here. I especially like their online scheduling, instead of playing phone tag which has happened with other cleaning services, you can schedule 24/7 and they reply promptly by email even during evenings and weekends. I live in Brookline, MA and plan to use mybostonmaids on a by-weekly bases.

Don't use this company. They let you book online and then change appointments to whenever they feel like it especially if you have a Groupon. Terrible customer service on the phone when you ask why your appointment was changed. But oh, they'll send out an emergency team for an arm and a leg, just can't use your Groupon for it. Bad way to do business.

My Grandfather ordered this service for a home we have been temporarily located to after being ousted from our own by a fire. The maids left the home no cleaner than we did, rifled through our personal belongings, and actually opened up bags and threw special items away from within them. (Mind you, we had been cleaning the place ourselves already, but we are all physically disabled and can only do so much.) My family had our own cleaning service some time ago, so I know what it takes to clean a house. After doing a lackluster job, the man who ran the operation had the audacity to actually ask specifically for a 30 dollar tip. I wouldn't hire this service again if my life depended on it after this horrible experience.
