Unfortunately after 3 or 4 cleans we cancelled our service. It was a wonderful thought to think that we'd have peace of mind knowing our home would be clean, however, we were sorely disappointed. I was given a quote of services that would be rendered during each clean, and unfortunately when the cleans were provided beginning with the "deep clean" it was unacceptable and Merry Maids had to come out the week after that to ensure that things got clean to the expectations they set forth upon signing up during the quoted. Even the clean after the initial deep clean that Merry Maids offered in "good faith" was unsatisfactory and just a downright disappointment. There was dust everywhere, things weren't moved and swept under, the toilet in the bathroom wasn't clean (how obvious...), etc... we figured we'd continue to give it a chance thinking it'd get better. We were very wrong though. The team had their quality assurance person come out to check and upon arriving home that evening, I wondered how that person was satisfied with the work their staff completed. Maybe my expectations were too high. We've now switched services to another cleaner who charges half the price and meets our expectations. Oh, and when my fiancé called and spoke with the owner and asked if he was okay with his employees doing the bare minimum and not meeting the agreements expectations, the owner laughed at him on the phone and spoke very condescendingly. That all being said, I'd much rather pay another agency who offers premier customer service and support as well as providing what they've agreed to provide, rather than utilize this service ever again.

I had used this service in the past but will never use in the future. I had thought my previous engagements were expensive (over $350.00) but I ended up with a clean house. My most recent experience was a disaster. A person was here for less than 1.5 hours. I needed to leave for a medical appointment and fully expected the person to be here when I returned from the appt. Well the person had left. I could see no cleanup in the house and basically had to do everything myself.

I have been a client of merry maids for many months. I have also had Kevin come to clean carpets for me. Everyone I have had contact with has been beyond professional and I have never had a complaint about my service. The young lady that cleans my home weekly is wonderful and she even brings cookies for my very active dog. I would most definitely recommend merry maids to anyone needing a cleaning service!

A man returned my call and refused to work with me because I asked if there was a Merry Maid that I could work with who picks up the phone, which is my preference. These people have no business acumen, no customer service skills. He was just a punk. Stay away from this place. I found better service and better prices with another non Merry Maid business. There are others out there who are so much more mature. Just google "housecleaning services."

Overall, I was very disappointed in the "value" I received for this service and will not be using Merry Maids again. I would not recommend them. Debbie, the owner, came out to provide a price estimate - my home is over 2,200 sqr feet with 2.5 bathrooms - and I was looking for a clean every 4-5 weeks. The quote was $149 for the home and I was given the cleaners arrival estimate of between 10-11am (the woman showed up at 10 after 11). You can imagine my surprise when I learned that Merry Maids was there for less than 2 hours!!!! To clean a 2.5 bathroom, 4 bedroom home. I think they barely ran a dry cloth across things. When I called Debbie, the owner, she said the $149 was non-negotiable and that $75/hr was a fair price - regardless of all the above. $75/hr to clean houses - I am in the wrong business!

The ladies (especially, Alyssa) was very confident and efficient. No chit-chat needed, she knew just what needed to happen and jumped right in. The job was done very thoroughly. No missed areas, all the corners, window sills, blinds, Shelves, dusted and sprayed. Mirrors sparkle, and wet mopped wood floors were very nicely done. What a pleasure! I think I did notice that the standard top-to-bottom 'rule' didn't seem consistent. Tops of cupboards were dusted after the counters were cleaned? Blinds dusted after room had been vacuumed? I wasn't in the house much at all, so maybe I saw things out of step (meaning I could be wrong). Overall, this was one of the nicest things I have done for myself in a long time.

Cleaning lady named Rachel stole from me. Did not get anything I asked for done... Donna the supervisor is AWFUL and does not have her employees do what they are supposed to be doing. You can’t clean under a bed because your not ALLOWED to move furniture ? What kind of cleaning place is this !!! Full of theives and people who are not doing they’re job correctly. I have found a wonderful cleaning lady named Cheryl so blessed.afforadable and always on point
