Yes, the guys that came did the work, they walked over the roof, unless they accidentally did it, they had to see the hole on the peak of the roof, the blown roof tiles on the roof, they said nothing. I am not blaming the guys who did the work but the luck of training from company that sent them to do the work. That little bit of training that would have gained them more business by fixing the roof and saved me a lot of aggravation. Not a lot of business here, my additional cost to have the roof fixed was only a couple hundred dollars. Maybe that's word of month no longer works or does it?

This is the 2nd time using American Gutter we used them on our first house in Dracut and we had no issues at all. They are the most fair priced company out there and send really great hard working guys out to do the job. I would highly recommend them for gutters. They make sure they job is done right and well.

Just used them for the first time and was very impressed. I was a bit nervous based on some of the other negative reviews. The price was good and I just happened to be home when they came by. Kept a close eye on the 2 guys, but they were perfectly fine and cleaned up the mess afterwards. I will use them next year.

I used them for a few years thinking that they were doing a good job -- I wasn't climbing on the roof to check what they cleaned. However just now I noticed that two down spouts were completely blocked. I called them and they said that since last cleaning was done in the Fall, they would not send somebdoy now in the Spring to clean the blocked down spouts. I told them about their other bad reviews and the woman told me that they have been in business for 20 years. I told her that they either clean my two blocked spouts or I will find somebody else. Apparently she was OK with that even though she is not a manager. Maybe they have been in business for 20 years because owners don't check the work that they do.

Received a coupon flyer in the mail promoting average gutter cleaning between 65-95$, apparently that is for a one bedroom cape style home since my total was 220$. They said they would be there within two weeks and give no notice or heads up. Four weeks went by and I called again and they said weather was cause for the big delay. Lastly they don’t automatically take the debris with them instead give you the option of throwing it out yourself or paying extra for them to take it. The gutters do look nice and clean, just kind of a headache to finally get it done with them.

I have been a customer for a number of years and was always happy. This year they were supposed to come on the 8th before the storm. I even called on the 7th to confirm. I was home the entire day and they didn't show up. My gutter over my deck was so full of debris I cleaned it out myself so I wouldn't have problems with the snow. I figured they would call me to reschedule until I received the bill. I called them and they told me it was completed. They told me they would check their GPS and get back to me, which they didn't do. I called again and they told me that their GPS showed they were here. I asked them to provide the GPS coordinates (I know the coordinates of my home) and was told "that's not how it works". I thought the whole idea of GPS was that every location had a set of coordinates? Maybe they were at the wrong address? There is an address similar to mine. Same street name and house number but "extension". Very disappointing that they just call a long time customer a liar.

One star is too much for service I received. Lack of experience with gutter installation. I lost my $250 deposit, left without gutter and my aluminum trim ruined. Rude owners and customer service.

Rude customer service agent. I have an investment property and requested a call once they finalized the schedule for the fall gutter cleaning. I wanted to make sure the tenets knew when to expect them as a courtesy to my tenets; and was told they do not do call ahead and did not know the schedule and that it could be a month or so before they complete the work. I received a bill a few months later and asked the customer service agent to verify the work was actually done and was greeted by a very rude "It was done" when I asked for pictures or anything at all they could provide as proof it was done she said we dont call ahead or take pictures or have a way to verify and that I need to just pay the bill. A simple call ahead or call when complete would have worked but now; over a month later I am not sure they actually did the work.

I had a great experience with American Gutter. The rep came by and gave me a quote. He said that if they found any rotted areas they’d replace them when they put the gutters on. After hearing that I expected added costs once it was complete. Nope, the job was the exact price they quoted and the gutters look great. Would definitely recommend using them.

I highly recommend this company. I have been relying on them for years to clean my gutters. Because I have skylights, I also have them sweep the roof. Reasonably priced. Efficient and they clean up beautifully.

We get our gutters cleaned twice a year. We have debris from the surrounding trees. American Gutter Cleaning has been cleaning our gutters for 15 years. The office staff is polite and the management is committed to great customer service. The behind the scene hard worker bees are tops in our books! Our experience is they are reliable, dedicated to their work and consistently provide excellent service. It’s a relief to know they will clean the gutters before the snow falls. That’s the last thing a homeowner needs, is clogged gutters in the winter. It’s not an easy job to clean gutters. If they leave a bag full of leaves, it’s a joy to know the job is done and I can dispose of the debris! American Gutter came out and provided an estimate. Put down a deposit, and 2 months later continued to receive feedback that they didn’t have anyone to install the gutters. Tried again, and still nothing.

We had American Gutter come out to our home to install new gutters after a contractor scammed us. Not only was their pricing very reasonable, the job they did was amazing. There were a few gutters causing issues prior and they were able to effectively fix those. We made an appointment for them to come out to clean our gutters and again we got amazing service. Crooks; they went and installed drip edge flashing and additionally charged me for it when they did not even consult with me before installing. When I called them and informed them that I did not need it because I had a modified drip edge that resolved the problem with water behind the gutters the person over the phone was incompetent to understand what a modified drip edge was and just went with what her installers did. Didn't even apologies or try to make the matter correct, insisted that all was needed and the fee is what it is.

I'll start off by saying I have never given a one star rating to any company. However I am so disappointed in this company. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. I always make an appointment for the gutters to be cleaned at the end of the season as my leaves are very late in falling. The appointment was set for the first week of December. When no one showed on Monday, I called and was told they would be at the house that week. When no one showed on Thursday, I called Friday morning and was told I was not on the schedule! I was shocked and asked why not. The woman was very rude and said they can’t always keep to the schedule due to weather issues. There have been NO weather issues! Not even rain! We were due to have a lot of snow the next day. She said she might be able to fit me in next week, but they have no control over the weather. Such poor customer service and terrible treatment by this woman. I'm really not sure what has happened with this company and it's a shame. I did go on Yelp and within minutes found a fabulous company that came to help me out within an hour, Pro Painting Services in Everett. It is fortuitous as I need to obtain quotes for my house to be painted in the spring. They did a fabulous job, were professional, took photos of before and after, cleaned up and offered me a great price. So they now have a very happy new customer. To the owners of American Gutter Cleaning - you best check who is answering the phone and responsible for your scheduling - there's a lot of competition out there and she is seriously hurting your business.

Very disappointed! I have two houses next to each other and they were suppose to do them both. They only did one and said they did the other. I checked and they were not done. They offered to come out again and said they did them and they still were not done. I will never use them again.
