Excellent work by Chris...I have a house severely damaged by soot due to a fire with the bathroom tile completely discolored...black in areas and the soot was tenacious and almost plastic-like, only removable easily with acetone or paint thinner. I have used this franchise before and have been happy with the service. I have only used ChemDry on my wall to wall carpeting which is over 20 years old. I have them cleaned every few years and they still look great. I am only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because none of the franchises are honest with customers about the drying time. ChemDry is advertised as drying in 1 or 2 hours. This has never happened in the 20 years I have been using ChemDry. Depending on the technician the drying time can be 12 - 24 hours. This last time I had a sofa and chair cleaned - have never had that done so was not prepared for the drying time to be 3 days. I had them cleaned on a Thursday morning at 9 and Saturday afternoon there were areas that were still damp on the furniture. I highly recommend ChemDry but they need to be honest about the drying time.

An appointment was scheduled for a week out and 2 men arrived promptly at the start time of the 1 hour window. The work was completed in 15 minutes, and now we wait for the first spill. The reason I did not give Chem-Dry 5 stars: The window of arrival time was between 12-3pm. I called around 2pm to see if they could gauge when they would arrive. She lied to me and said that the cleaner was running behind because his partner called in sick but he would get there by 3pm. He arrived shortly after 3pm and said he doesn't work with a partner and that his last job just ran late.

Chem-Dry cleaned two cream-colored swivel chairs which I was planning on throwing out as they were so dirty. The chairs are in our family room and despite my best efforts, everyone, including me, snacks in the family room. After the cleaning, the chairs are more than acceptable and definitely worth keeping. Although not "as good as new", they are now significantly brighter without any obvious stains or spots. I had a coupon and although the coupon advertised 76.00 for two chairs, the 99.00 minimum meant I needed to add something else or just pay 99.00. They were willing to do another chair and ottoman (and the ottoman had a red wine stain) for only 120.00. A great value for 120.00-- I am so glad I took a risk on that coupon. Thank you Chem-Dry; I am sure I will use your services again.

We have used them at least two or three times for wall to wall carpet. They are very professional and do a fantastic job. This time, we also sent out some smaller wool carpets for cleaning, so I'm waiting to see how they come out. The reason I did not give Chem-Dry 5 stars: The window of arrival time was between 12-3pm. I called around 2pm to see if they could gauge when they would arrive. She lied to me and said that the cleaner was running behind because his partner called in sick but he would get there by 3pm. He arrived shortly after 3pm and said he doesn't work with a partner and that his last job just ran late.

I had a sofa cleaned. It's hundred percent cotton and textured.It took a couple of days to dry.Some spots remained and one seam split a little. I guess you have to expect things like that! Nothing is perfect. Bob, the technician was terrific.A good job overall, but a little pricey.
