DO NOT USE MAIDPRO. We hired Maidpro to do a deep clean of a house we are trying to get on the market for sale. Keep in mind, the house is empty and it is not yet on the market and the only person with access is our real estate agent. We are 8 hours away from Baltimore so she is looking after the house for us. The first time they came through and supposedly cleaned, they left a 49 point checklist and at least half of it wasn't done. But they checked every box. They did not vacuum the stairs, we paid extra to have them clean the oven - it was still filthy - they didn't dust the blinds, the tops of the bar, fireplace, window sills or base boards. 2 of the three bathrooms look like they weren't even touched - the kitchen counters were still a mess and the wood floors were streaky. Also, they informed us the first floor toilet wouldn't flush yet it worked fine the last time we were in the house - but that was their excuse for not cleaning it. We contacted them and they were very apologetic and offered to send another crew free of charge - which is what THEY SHOULD DO. The second crew came, and it was a few days before our agent could get in the house and check on their work. The stairs still weren't vacuumed AT ALL - still covered in dog hair - like I don't know how you could miss that - TWICE. The bar still wasn't dusted, the blinds and window sills were still dirty and the bathrooms still didn't look cleaned. On top of all this absolute failure, there was urine left in the toilet. I sent an email to Marlena Rogers - AGAIN - expressing my absolute displeasure - and did not hear back from her. Instead, I was contacted by someone else a few days later telling me she no longer worked there and that my email would be forwarded to someone else. I was then contacted by Kelly Rebiero and accused of lying about the urine in the toilet and saying I threatened to "slander" the company - I did threaten to give them a bad review on every review site I could find if they did not stand by their work and clean our house for the $340 we gave them. I also informed her that it is only slander when what you are saying isn't true. I have 100+ pictures of both of their visits if anyone reading this would like to see them. I also told her I was contacting the better business bureau and that my wife was going to dispute the charge on her credit card - which she has done. Kelly Rebeiro also tried to tell me that because we didn't complain in the proper time frame outlined in the contract that they were not responsible as she had "no idea who else could have been through the house since the cleaning" - ummm nobody, it is completely vacant. Also, I did complain in the proper time frame, the person I complained to just either quit or was fired - probably because your company sucks. She offered us a $25 coupon on a future cleaning and said she was not refunding our money. So yeah, Maidpro is AWFUL. DO NOT USE THEM. TELL YOUR FRIENDS AND THEIR FRIENDS AND MAYBE THIS GARBAGE COMPANY WILL GO AWAY. p.s. The bank has already refunded our money.

I've had two cleans so far and I have to say, I'm really pleased with the job they do as well as their customer service staff. The agent on the phone that called when I initially requested a quote was enthusiastic and took great care to log the necessary notes she needed. Just in general really nice to talk to. I honestly just detest cleaning, so I wasn't really looking for anything fancy - just make sure the floors are clear of dirt and debris and dust all my surfaces/tchotchkes. The initial clean and subsequent monthly clean have surpassed my expectations. When I submit feedback for each clean, they place a follow-up phone call to discuss any notes I include and make sure the staff follows through themselves on the next clean. I highly recommend MaidPro so far based on my experience. Not only are they reasonably priced, the value is incredible. The feeling of coming home to a professionally cleaned house alone is worth every penny. Give them a shot!

DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. They employ liars like Virginia who will cause you nothing but aggravation. The last people in the universe you want to give a key to your house is maidpro. They have had one tech four years ago take off with my keys in the middle of a nervous breakdown and I gave them a second chance, then they called me on November 8 to cancel that day's cleaning with no notice when if you do that to them, its a big problem and you get charged. Today, they sent Virginia after not notifying me that my longtime cleaner Homero left the company and Virginia pulls me out of an important meeting to tell me that I locked her out by changing the code (no I did not) and that she stuck the key in the wrong lock and as a result could hear the electronic mechanism whirring and it was not working. That would indicate that the lock was BROKEN and I would not be able to get in my house without a locksmith. So I had to leave my meeting, have my fiance leave work and go to my house only to find out that Virginia was wrong and the lock works just fine. Now I have Celina in my email refusing to send my key back a traceable method and demanding I take the day off work to drive to Parkville and get my keys all because MaidPro can't figure out how to open a door and they don't have a phone system that reliably works so you can't even reach someone after they leave you messages telling you they broke your house.

MaidPro has high standards and takes feedback well. We have had some experiences when someone we really liked (i.e. was a good match for how we wanted things done) left the company and we had to find someone else who met our expectations- especially with regard to attention to details. But the company takes your feedback and quickly makes the adjustments you request. So, except for a few bumps here and there, we’ve been very happy with the service and give it a strong recommendation.

We were extremely unsatisfied- the cleaning was very superficial and not completed as confirmed when scheduling the cleaning. When scheduling we informed the receptionist it was a house that needed to be clean for a move in, and indicated areas of concern, including: kitchen, range, hood and cabinets; doors; baseboards; window sills; kitchen light; and a ceiling fan, overhang railing that needed dusting. I come home to find a house where the cleaning crew did not do what we paid for, including: window sills that were not touched, dirt, dead flies and hair left behind; baseboards, that to the touch, dust and dirt rub off on fingers; the oven hood not even touched and has grease all over it, as well as the surrounding cabinets; the top of the back-splash still has grease and is sticky to the touch (it looks like it was not even cleaned superficially); one of the cleaning crew was going to use the same dirty rag for the inside of the fridge that she used on the outside; the ceiling fan, overhang, and railing was not dusted at all; the sides of the kitchen island was not cleaned and we were told by the employees they are not allowed to clean the sides of the island; toilet was not touched; kitchen light not cleaned and the light switches still covered in dirt. Almost all of the items mentioned above were told when the cleaning was scheduled. These two employees did not complete the job as required, and what was done was very superficial and incomplete.

NO INTEGRITY - I needed my house cleaned for an upcoming open house. I was told there would be two ladies cleaning my home, two showed up and one left. The one that stayed, took more breaks than she worked, was talking on her phone. The 49 point inspection cleaning is a JOKE! She never even mopped or swept the floor. There was dust and dirt left on my windows seals (apart of the 49 point inspection). She stayed for 2.5 hours bull-crapping around, and to add insult to injury, she reported that she worked 5 hours! The company charged my credit card $425. When I advised them of the situation, they advised they could not refund my money, because the cleaner said she was there the entire time. LIES. They have robbed me! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. You are better off leaving your home dirty!

I called this company on Monday November 12, 2018 and they scheduled me for a cleaning on Thursday, November 15, 2018. On November 13th, I called to see if I could reschedule. The very polite young lady confirmed my Thursday appointment, explained to me they were very busy this week and she would check the Friday schedule call me back with the availability. She called me back within 2 hours and explained that I had no appointment and I couldn't be scheduled until the November 26th. I asked her how did my appointment disappear? Scammers! The first few they do well, then they pretend they don’t know which rooms/bathrooms need to be cleaned and start clean rooms/bathrooms that do not need to be cleaned. It’s practically never the same people and have been doing worse and worse cleans every time after the first 2. The owner-manager is supper nice but knows perfectly well how her staff operates and simply plays innocent. They promised to redo all of the missed rooms and bathrooms but NEVER did! I canceled my service but still got charged for rooms they were supposed to do. Will be disputing the entire charge! Save your money and find one crew they knows how you like it and will cater to your requests and not your credit card.

The only reason I did not give 5 stars, is because upon scheduling, I was expecting her to arrive at 11 and work until 2. So I took off because I've never had a cleaning service before. Actually, she was due to arrive anytime between 11-2! Oops! This was not her fault at all! Just a crossed wire between the scheduler and I. Nevertheless I would of taken the day off . House smells GREAT and CLEAN

There is nothing else I can do for you- Rebecca Stewart. This is the first of serval reviews I will do for this racist, and unprofessional cleaning service and I use the word cleaning lightly. They really don’t clean they more or less spot clean. The clean is very superficial. I have been using the company for almost a year and I’ve only been wowed by the clean about 4-5 times. December 1st I was scheduled for a clean and it lightly snowed. I received a call from MaidPro telling me that because of the weather the pro would not be able to clean my apartment and I was rescheduled for the following Monday. When I arrived home on Monday the apartment was not cleaned and it was too late to call the office which closes at 4:30. So I then called Tuesday and spoke with Rebecca who had no idea why the apartment wasn’t clean she apologized and rescheduled the appointment and gave me a 10% discount. When the pro finally did clean it was half cleaned I had guest over who couldn’t even tell that the apartment was clean. MaidPro just offers to have the same pro who half cleaned the apartment come back to fix her errors. However this time took the cake for me and caused me end my time with maidpro. I was scheduled for a clean 2/09 I came home to find out my apartment was not cleaned. I didn’t receive any type of email or call so once again I thought someone just skipped my apartment. Monday I called the office and was told be Marelena that the pro was locked out of my apartment. That was werid to me because I didn’t get a lock out call or email. Marlena told me that the pro contacted the “owner” and there was no notes. I asked her why the lockout procedures weren't followed and why I wasn’t notified. She apologized and said she would reach out to the “owner”. She rescheduled me a clean for Wednesday 2/14. Then she called me back and said there was a mix up and someone would be there Thursday 2/15. Thursday a man pro shows up even though I have repeatedly asked them to notify me when different people would be cleaning my apartment. The clean was nothing to write home about and I was greatly annoyed that I was not informed a new pro yet alone a man would be cleaning my apartment. Fast forward to Friday I'm checking my account to see that I was charge an additional 113.00 on top of the 88 dollars I was charged when the apartment wasn't clean. Then the 113.00 dollars was reversed and I was charged 25$ twice. I contacted the company today and was informed that I was charged 25$ because of a rescheduling fee. Marlena never informed me during my conversation either time that I would be charged 25 dollars. I asked her why I would be charged if the lockout procedures weren't followed. I should've received a call or an email and I didn't. There lockout procedures say I pro will wait 15m and then leave if they are unable to gain access. I never received a call or email. Marlene said she would have to reach out to the "owner" and acknowledged that I didn't receive any correspondence. Marlena then put Rebecca on the phone. She didn't warm her or let me know Rebecca just popped on the phone. They messed up and they show zero empathy or customer service skills. Rebecca proceeded to tell me that she is sorry and that’s not how they do business and that I was overcharged 25 dollars and they will reverse it. However I will be charged 25 dollars for the reschedule. Once again I stated to her that the lockout procedures were not followed and I don’t believe a pro ever arrived. She rudely told me that the procedures were followed and there is nothing else she can do. She said I can't assist you further. I told her I wouldn't be so upset if someone just apologized that the lockout procedures weren't followed. She then told me she wouldn't apologize and there was nothing else she could do.

UPDATE:: MaidPro resolved my complaint. I was issued a full refund. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! If I could rate this review a -10, I would. It was two cleaning pros with a 3.5 hour window of time to clean a 1,300 square foot townhome. My townhome was completely empty of any furniture. So, essentially, the maid pros were to clean the baseboards, window sills, clean bathrooms, dust the blinds and vacuum the top floor and bottom floor. Middle floor was to clean the baseboards, wipe out the cabinets, wipe the counters and sink, clean the stop of the stove, sweep and mop the kitchen and living room floor, wipe window sills and dust the blinds. They only finished the top floor and half of the kitchen. And I use the term “finish” very loosely. The master bathroom was a total disaster after they finished. One cleaner, Stephanie spent 2.5 hours cleaning just one shower floor. After 2.5 hours, the shower floor still looked almost as dirty as before she started. In addition, the tiles and shower doors were not cleaned at all. There was hair still left in the bathroom by the toilet and on the counter. The inside of the bathroom cabinet under the sink and the medicine cabinet were not wiped out. And around the bottom of the toilet where it meets the floor had hair and was still soiled. The medicine cabinet in the other bathroom was not wiped out at all. The other cleaner, Virginia, claimed she wiped the baseboards and vacuumed on the top floor. However, there was still visible debris left on the carpet. They had the office staff, Marlena Rogers, call me after an hour of cleaning to ask where they should clean next. I had stepped out to run an errand. I said I would be back in five minutes but they can move on to the next floor. I thought that was an odd question, because again the house is empty, with the exception of drop cloths in the basement because I had painters working. The painters knew that when the cleaners reached the basement level, they would have to halt all painting. They NEVER reached the basement. Virginia did a horrible job with cleaning the stove for almost an hour. The kitchen sink was left dirty . There was a pile of dirt left on the kitchen floor. There was a Bobby pin left on the living room floor. At the end of the 3.5 hours, I was called again by their office staff, Marlena, asking if I would like pay for extra time or have them leave. I said they can leave because they were taking too long to complete this job and the cleaning was not up to my standard. She informed me that they had before and after pictures with timestamps. Well luckily, I have some too. And honestly, I was not hovering over them to micromanage the cleaning job. I thought they were skilled professional. Clearly, I gave them too much credit. The cleaners had been in touch with the manager before the job was complete and Marlena basically said that I got what I paid for. There was not even a concern for the subpar work that the cleaners did. I called back to speak with the manager. Conveniently, the manager was on the phone and had to call me back. It’s been 36 hours and no call back. I called customer service to speak to the corporate office. The representative said there was no corporate office, which I find very hard to believe, and that I can talk to one of the main franchise offices in Boston. I called the Boston office. The representative took a lot of notes regarding my complaint and said that the coaching staff will give me a call back before close of business. No call back. I paid for 3.5 hours of cleaning for $390 to prevent having to clean my rental property myself. I ended up having to buy all cleaning products and cleaning the master bathroom and kitchen myself. I had carpet cleaners scheduled for the next day so I didn’t have to worry about vacuuming. Choose a different company because they send incompetent cleaners, management does not follow up with any concerns/complaints and they frankly don’t care about satisfying the customer. Now, I’m out of $390!!!

I hired this company to come and clean my home to make it look and smell nice for the new home owners when they move into the house. I have had a few construction projects in the home and was wanting to get a final cleaning session completed before selling the home. I had never hired a company to perform a job such as this. I was a bit hesitant to do it this time, but I did since I was very short on time and helpers. After I called the company, they sent out two people the next day who came with the items they needed to get the job started. They walked the home to get the layout of the home and then started working. I was busy when they left, but everything looked as if it was fine. After moving throughout the house and taking a closer look and inspecting, there a few too many missed items. You know they made a big deal about how they clean by a (XX) point check list of items to do, but I came to realized that it is their process and their flaw. They were to clean a room, but the baseboards were not wiped down in two areas of that room and in some of the common areas. The main dresser and a night stand was wiped, but a second night stand was left with dust all over the night stand. I had some work done to the floor and there was some mud smears on the floor. Not thick mud, just like a smear from the construction crew wiping up with a dirty mop in a few areas. This was not wiped down nor even addressed for cleaning. When I moved the couch to get it out of the home, it was not even cleaned underneath the couch. So because there is a list of things to do...any untrained person can mindlessly follow the list trying to complete it within the time frame given. That cleaner will not go beyond the list to do anything that is apparently necessary to accomplish the task of cleaning a home. I believe if it needs to be wiped, dusted, or cleaned...then do it. Of course that is my military lifetime of training and learning and teaching not to be expected of a professional cleaning company that is getting paid to a decent cleaning job, or is it?
