I have been in Facilities Management for nearly 40 years and have worked with many cleaning contractors during those years. I solicited bids from six companies in 2008 to clean over 70,000 square feet of commercial space in an effort to reduce operating costs at our facilities. A Cleaning did not provide to lowest price, they provided the best price. Our CEO insisted I hire the low bidder. This lasted for two weeks before we terminated services. He then insisted we go with the next lowest bidder. This contractor only lasted one week before being terminated. The bid from A Cleaning Services was right down the middle of all bidders and was next on the pricing list. The owner of A Cleaning Services, Beatriz Sampaio, worked hand in hand with her team to smoothly transition into providing the very best cleaning services to our organization. Although I left this company in 2012, A Cleaning Service continues to provide the organization excellent professional cleaning. In my new position as Director of Facilities at another organization, I again solicited bids in 2014 to clean 65,000 square feet of commercial office space. A Cleaning Services again provided the best pricing and transitioned smoothly. The company provides outstanding commercial cleaning services at a fair price. The staff are also very professional and loyal. Many have been working for A Cleaning Service more than 10 years. I highly recommend A Cleaning Services for all your commercial needs.

A Cleaning Service did a great job! It's rare for me to write reviews unless I feel someone went above and beyond to provide me exceptional service and a cleaning service did that. I was looking for a cleaning service that would pay attention to detail and be able to get out tough stains. I needed someone who would be careful on hardwood floors and know how to treat carpets. I recently moved out of an apartment of a brand new building. I was the first tenant so they were expecting the apartment to look the same as when it was rented to me. The building even left me a list of what my cleaning charges could look like and it was really expensive. I have 2 dogs, a cat and two birds and all animals had left behind a big mess. I'm a horrible cook so you can only imagine what the stove top and oven looked like. I had mud stains throughout each room and feathers from my birds in hard to reach areas. After reading many reviews and comparing prices, I decided to go with a cleaning service. They were super easy to schedule, on time and fast. They did an amazing job. You would have never been able to tell someone lived there, especially all the animals!. I would recommend their service to anyone.

Outstanding, professional, and reliable service have kept me a loyal client, and led me to refer many thankful friends to A Cleaning Service. Bia takes care of her staff, whom she trains and treats with respect. As a result, they are very loyal and stay with her. It's also great to deal with such a conscientious and trustworthy female owner in a line of work where many women and immigrants are exploited. When the rare mishap occurs, Bia always makes it right. Do NOT look any further for the best, most reasonable cleaning service in the DC area!! Trust me --i did a lot of research! We have been with this company for about seven years and have never once been anything less than amazed with it's quality of work. They do not miss a detail. We moved from a townhouse to a single family home farther out. I fully expected Beatriz to use the opportunity to finally start charging us rates comparable to other companies. Nope. Still a great deal and wow!! The team did a deep clean that made the new house feel like home. We have used A Cleaning Service for special clean out as well (hello gross fridge). The team never disappoints. Did I mention they are also super pet friendly? Cat litter and fur is gone-people say they don't realize I even have pets. And Beatriz is always flexible if I need to move around dates for a clean for some reason. Like Mom coming into town. I'd give 100 stars if I could. Best company ever

WARNING TO CONSUMERS: A Cleaning Service did the cleaning for my home for several years. Most of the time I was satisfied but recently experienced a very alarming situation. The company started sending different people to clean instead of the same crew each time. I had to fire them when I noticed that a very expensive wallet was stolen from my home during the last time the person came to clean. This was not the first time I had to report theft. They previously used my personal cleaning supplies instead of their own and took them when they were done. I do not recommend this company. Beatriz never acknowledges that mistakes or theft are made. She is dishonest and very shady. Her unprofessional and defensive response to this review proves that Beatriz is unwilling to acknowledge and take corrective action for the issue. I have no reason to lie about the fact that her employees have stolen items from my home on more than one occasion while they were cleaning.
