I am giving them such a low score to accurately reflect the poor customer service. I am a middle aged African American woman with history and experience so when an older white man returns my credit card to me by placing it on the counter AFTER I gave it to him by placing it in his hand - it IMMEDIATELY sets my blood to boil. I tried to dismiss it after the first time, but when it happened again the second time, I KNEW it was intentional. Russell's is far TOO expensive with even more competitors for me to have to endure such treatment. I am unwilling to accept something my ancestors HAD to endure and then pay too??? ABSOUTELY NOT! To add insult to injury, on the last trip there I bought in a pair of slacks that was promised a particular day and I NEEDED for an event. When the day came, I had not received the customary email alert so I reached out and was advised that they were clean, but not pressed. He then stated all the pressers were gone for the day and he "could" turn the machines back on, but they were shorthanded due to illness. Well when I went to pick them up a couple of days later, you could imagine my shock when I was charged FULL price, without a discount or an apology for my inconveniences?!?!?

I brought my shirt in to get pressed today and when I picked it up it looked like it did when I dropped it off. The shirt was not pressed, it had creases in the back of it. I mean I guess if you want something done right you have to do it yourself. Never coming back here again.

Hermann-Grima House

During 2012 Carnival season, our Hermann-Grima House museum suffered damage from a overflowing dehumidifier. The situation was serious as the museum was closed for the Mardi Gras holiday. The flooring, floor covering, carpets and draperies were water-soaked! We immediately contacted Russell's -- who arrived immediately and spent many hours remediating the precious textiles and carpets. Today, not even the most particular of museum curators could find any damage in that room! Russell's did an amazing job restoring our 19th-Century interpretation! We have the utmost confidence in their services and professionalism!
