I made some mistakes when scheduling my cleaning online and Peach quickly adjusted my charges to accurate reflect the size of my house and reimbursed me for the errors I made. Tilisia has been absolutely awesome, she is always on time, professional, and an overall sweet person who takes great pride in everything she does. I'm pretty upset with geaux maids. I booked online late Friday night, ecstatic that I could find someone to come on a Sunday before I had company arrive. I was so happy with the process and the price that I booked for every two weeks. I have a 7 bedroom house with 1 bathroom but I only wanted 3 bedrooms cleaned. They called the next day and told me that because I have 7 bedrooms, that the price would increase by $100 initially and $70 bucks reoccurring. EVEN IF THE OTHER 4 BEDROOMS ARENT CLEANED! I couldn't see paying for rooms that aren't getting cleaned so I had to cancel. I'm so bummed right now, I thought I found somewhere I would finally be happy with. Update: I had to update this to a 5-star review strictly based on their customer service. Hunter saw that I had canceled everything and sent me an e-mail asking what the problem was so that it can either be fixed or improved for future clients. Everybody went above and beyond in order to make things right, turns out it was quite a misunderstanding, and they would not have charged me for those rooms. I have not had the chance to use the service yet, but I definitely plan to in the future. I would recommend them strictly based on their customer service and their desire to run a quality and pristine business. Any hiccup in the road, and this company will be sure to make it right.

Good cleaning for a "Move out" package at first look, but after i did a more in depth walk through after the maid left, I discovered the base of one of the toilets was not cleaned. Only one window/blinds set in the entire house was cleaned. The rear sliding glass door was not cleaned. The faces of all of the cabinets were not cleaned. No high dusting was done at all. The inside of the microwave was cleaned, but not the inside of the door. The inside of the fridge was not cleaned, even though i specifically asked her too. None of the floor boards were "detailed". Extremely dissatisfied with the overall cleaning for over $300, with only one of the three bedrooms being cleaned.

I'm a grad student so money is tight but every month I am so thankful for this indulgence. Their customer service is superb. Ms. Peach bends over backwards to accommodate my schedule and answer all my questions. Senitra comes once a month and leaves my apartment gleaming! I have two cats and am always anxious about them accidentally getting out but Senitra is clearly an animal person. She is very careful when bringing the cleaning supplies in and the cats feel very comfortable with her in the house. Senitra is quick and thorough with her cleaning. Worth every penny!

I scheduled a cleaning for 2:30 pm, I received a call at 2:30 from the maid stating that they were running behind and would be there shortly. At this point my brother had been waiting on the street to let them in for 20 minutes, missing work. More then an hour later the maids show up in 3 different cars and must find parking (the apartment is in the French Quarter). One poor maid is on crutches and has to go up the stairs to the third floor. Another maid is deathly afraid of cats so she must close off the kitchen/bathroom area and clean there (there's a cat in the apartment). Through all the trials and tribulations, the place looked very good. So, as far as cleaning goes, they are great. But be prepared for some hiccups along the way.

I was very happy with the service from Geaux Maids. They were very reasonably priced and on time. They told me 8:30 am and they were there at 8:30 on the dot. They were also able to fit me in quick. I called on a Wednesday for Friday and they were able to get me in. The only issue that I had was when the lady swept she seemed to have missed a few places. With a dog and toddler my house tends to have a lot of dust and hair everywhere. There were a couple of places behind the doors that were missed. You would only be able to see that if you closed the door. Other then that they were great and will be using them again.

I did what I thought to be a good look through but after she left I realized the baseboards in the bathroom were dirty and the kitchen counter wasn’t clean. While she did a decent job- I don’t really feel that I got $327 worth of cleaning- especially since I didn’t even have her vacuum. 4/27/18 Update: After reading my 3 star review, Geaux Maid President made outreach to me in an effort to correct the issues. He sent out a different lady, named Jessica, and she did amazing. She paid great attention to detail and took pride in her work. She was pleasant, friendly, and I would love to have her back! Thank you Geaux Maid for exhibiting wonderful customer service!

For the amout of money i paid for a move in clean i expected much more. The cleaners did half the windows, there was still grease on the front of the kitchen cabinets. The inside of kitchen cabinets didnt look like they had been wiped out. half the closets where left untouched. The doors where filthy. The things they did clean looked good, but with so much left undone I was very disappointed in this service.

My new apartment really needed a cleanup. I booked an appointment online on July 4 for the next day, and someone actually got back to me even though it was a holiday, and were able to send someone over at my requested time on the 5th. The two wonderful ladies who cleaned the apartment left the place looking like new. You can even see the difference in photos: the place is sparkling and I feel like I can finally settle in.

Setting: I moved into an apartment that the previous tenant had been in for 7 years with two indoor cats-she didn't clean at all when she left. Tile floors, thank heavens, but still an absolute disaster. My new "landlord/roommate" didn't believe that the place needed to be properly cleaned in order for me to move in. She saw no issue with the cat hair on walls, cat poop and other unknown things crusted to the floor, food and liquids splattered on the walls, spider webs all over ceilings, filthy fridge/pantry of expired food. By the way, this place is Airbnb'd out, too. I hired Geaux Maids, paying for a Deep Clean + Move Out + Walls, totaling just over $300. I booked an appointment, and when the company called to confirm it, they told me that they would be coming by at a different time, because that slot was no longer available... Even though it was available on the website when I was looking. Ok, thats fine I guess, I could adjust my schedule. Initially, my experience with the Geaux Maid was pleasant. She showed up on time, was friendly, and was sympathetic about the predicament and agreed that it needed to be cleaned top to bottom. When we went through the end checkout, I was mostly overwhelmed with the incredible clean, fresh scent, and the appearance of things having been wiped down and the ceiling fans no longer being massive dust bunnies. I noticed one cobweb and spider in the bathroom, and she said "oh, I don't like spiders," so we both grabbed a broom and took care of it together. I opened the pantry door to see that it was still a mess, and said "You missed this?" Her response was that she "didn't know what that door led to." I told her no problem, she's been there long enough, I can do it myself... My own mistake to cover her incomplete work. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and checked the off completion list and gave a 5-star review. It wasn't until I was actually moving in that I discovered that she did not clean ANY of the four closets, there were still cobwebs on all of the ceiling corners, the floor may have been lightly mopped, but there was still crud on the floor that I spent ~3 hours scrubbing just the bedroom floor. Most of the walls were fixed with a simple wet sponge, not even anything heavy duty. I finally decided that for $300, I shouldn't be cleaning still after a "professional cleaner." I called the company and spoke to Peach, who throughout this whole incident has been very helpful. We scheduled a re-cleaning, but by that time I had already cleaned my room and the kitchen pantry and a couple other things, because I had to move in, I couldn't wait around. I got an email notification saying that they would be showing up an hour earlier than what we had agreed on, which was irritating for it to happen a second time, but I was at work, and my roommate was home all day anyway. I had left a list notifying the maid what they didn't need to do, and the things that especially needed attention. As it turns out, they sent the original maid to redo it. For a few reasons, the apartment essentially was not cleaned anymore when she left, a situation partly out of her control. So, my review is focused on the first cleaning, rather than the second/both. There would not have needed to be a second cleaning if the maid had done the job the first time and not lied to me about it. I paid for a cleaning of a two-bedroom apartment, (but they didn't have to clean the 2nd room, it's the Airbnb room, and they took off one like $20 or something to account for that). So really, a one bedroom apartment with a small combined living / kitchen space, all tile, no carpets, standard height ceilings, and it wasn't done even moderately well. I do not believe that I should pay for a service that is incomplete and dishonest. I am glad that the company honored their re-cleaning policy, and that Peach was professional. Ultimately however, I was stuck with a cleaning bill for apartment that I had to clean myself anyway.

This service was not good for move out clean out of an apartment. They only wipe down. They do not use bleach They do not move furniture or clean behind refrigerator. They do not do a deep cleaning. Furthermore, they use vacuum to clean tile floor. The vacuum was cloged so she did use a broom but needs to borrow a dustpan because she did not have one on her. She spot moped the floor. They ask for alot of money and do very little. Very poor customer service use at your own risk. Only use this service if you only need wipe down service.

I booked a cleaning w this company and paid extra to have them deep clean and also clean the inside of the refrigerator. Total cost was $300 for a two bedroom condo of 950 sf. They failed to do the refrigerator (even though we discussed it during the walk through prior to cleaning) and also somehow managed to clog one of my toilets! I did speak to the company and they offered to have someone address these things. But I didn’t want to have to let someone in again, stay out of the way, etc etc just for a refrigerator wipe down. It was easier to do it myself. And as for the other matter, I would not expect or want a house cleaner to try to fix a clog (although I really do wonder how in the world that even happened...!) Overall, it was only okay and quite expensive for what it was. EDIT: I amended this from two stars to one star after seeing the completely disengenuous response from Hunter online. In my reply to him I did explain to him that the cleaning was only ok and nothing inaccurate was said in my review. I didn’t even MENTION the fact that I had told them ahead that there was street parking only yet the cleaner was an hour later than planned because she didn’t plan for that and had no $ for the meter. (And yes I did offer to run her tip down to her before she parked - she instead decided to drive all the way uptown.) In my reply to Hunter I did say the communications from management were prompt and good. But this is a Cleaning service and that part was just okay. If the cleaner managed to clog my plumbing (which she absolutely did - the toilet had almost no water in the bowl when I got back and saw it and was not working properly immediately - so the cleaner definitely did something to it and also definitely would have known she did) - and also didn’t do something that was specifically requested and paid for that’s a 2 star review. When the owner comes back and places a misleading reply - it’s now 1 star. And I find it fascinating how he now claims to have “photos” of my cleaned refrigerator. There are no such photos because she didn’t clean it - and I myself DO have photos showing that. Don’t book anything with these dishonest people!

We scheduled a deep cleaning for the day before Thanksgiving. There were a lot of positives. The web interface and communication leading up to the appointment was good. They did not require a pre-visit to make their estimate. The cleaner was on time, stayed for five hours and did a nice job of cleaning. A manager also came by to introduce himself and check on the progress. The only minor negative would be that I have received 26 emails in total; some appointment reminders but mostly marketing. All in all, they are obviously eager to provide a good service. We are happy with the work and considering a recurring service.

If you want a quick wipe down, use Geaux Maids. Do not go to them for a deep, detail cleaning. Extremely disappointed. Paid almost $400 for a very deep/move in clean. The baseboards were dirty, the interior windows were not even cleaned. Behind the toilets were filthy. Cleaning supplies were left behind, on top of the cleaners leaving before the 5 hour scheduled time. Absolutely no pride in their work or attention to detail. Update: I do not have the style of work that I can answer phone calls, thus I will not be continuing services with this company. Yes, painting is the next project. But what I needed done before anyone else could come in, was a quality clean which I did not get, for almost $400 at that. Not a single interior window was cleaned, and still, my master bathroom is filthy behind the toilet. Neither of those have anything to do with painting. Low quality job, low quality rating.

If you want a quick wipe down, use Geaux Maids. Do not go to them for a deep, detail cleaning. Extremely disappointed. Paid almost $400 for a very deep/move in clean. The baseboards were dirty, the interior windows were not even cleaned. Behind the toilets were filthy. Cleaning supplies were left behind, on top of the cleaners leaving before the 5 hour scheduled time. Absolutely no pride in their work or attention to detail. Update: I do not have the style of work that I can answer phone calls, thus I will not be continuing services with this company. Yes, painting is the next project. But what I needed done before anyone else could come in, was a quality clean which I did not get, for almost $400 at that. Not a single interior window was cleaned, and still, my master bathroom is filthy behind the toilet. Neither of those have anything to do with painting. Low quality job, low quality rating.

Absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond for what I asked him to do and actually needed them to do. I had been more less bedridden for the past month and a half and my apartment became into a horrible horrible situation. Every morning I woke up I just felt overwhelmed. So, my place on the surface was liveable, however, deep down it was a complete total shambles. I haven't dusted in 13 years, yeah 13 years. No wonder I have allergies. My bathrooms haven't known clean either in that period, disgusting I know but hey on the surface it was barely ok. After a 2 week search I find "Geaux Maids" and well all I can say is I wish I would have done this years ago. I have a new home and that is no Shinola. BEWARE - READ THE YELP REVIEWS - I had my house "cleaned" about a month ago and the quality was appalling. House barely looked touched. All they did was a quick vacuum. Spent so much money on such poor service. I should have read the Yelp reviews before i contacted Geaux Maids. I'm figuring a lot of these reviews are fake as the account posting them are brand new and never reviewed anything besides Geaux Maids on Google. I'm making sure to hire Nola Cleaning Services in the future. They do solid work.

Owner offered to provide full refund, but we were only willing to accept the difference in standard clean, and a deep clean. I understand all business owners can sometimes have issues with individual employees, and operating a business is not always easy. Very pleased with the professional way things were handled.
