Replacing your A/C is by nature a miserable experience. But i can tell you that Williams Comfort Air made it much less miserable than it could have been. From their dispatch team, to their sales person (Mike), to their installation team... they were ALL top notch! The communication was remarkable. I received a call, text and email confirming the appointments and letting me know when they were on their way. They also called and told me when they completed. Technician great. But customer service not so much. Was without air for over a week. Part promised to be in Monday or Tuesday on the previous Friday. Called Monday, and no part. Called Tuesday no part. Tuesday they said Friday. Requested to speak to management, no one ever contacted me. House is miserable and humid. Mind you, I never was proactively contacted, I had to continually follow up. We had to stay at a hotel and the house was humid and stunk from the humidity. Friday comes, no part and told it could then be the following Wednesday. Not acceptable. I had to be very firm that it would be fixed Friday. They finally came later on Friday and fixed. Requested to speak with management again, no one ever called.

My experience with WCA is mixed. The original technician (Austin) I had out to diagnose the problem was great, very helpful and knowledgeable. My sales guy (Mike) was nice and helped me find a good price given my situation. However I had a couple hangups with them that prevent me from giving a 5 star review. 1.) After paying nearly $7k to have a new system put in, the techs overcharged the unit which blew a switch that prevented my unit from cooling properly and keeping up. Eventually the unit went out and wouldn't turn on at all, and I was stuck in a muggy house with an infant after just dropping 7k. Not what I expected from professionals. 2.) I was specifically told what the price would be--not an estimate, but the final price with tax and everything included. They charged me $300 more than that and I was told by the technician customer service would refund me the difference due to the mix up. That was almost three months ago, and I have yet to have it resolved. Nathan called me one time, and I've called and written back numerous times since then and I can never get a hold of him or a call back. I don't feel I should have to track you down for you to make right on your word. I understand people make mistakes, so I can look past the original technician who installed the unit overcharging the system, and WCA came out and my new technician (Thomas) was absolutely great, he figured it out and corrected it. However telling me the price would be one thing and then ignoring my communication about it and not making it right seems shady and is more frustrating than anything. My electric bill was higher than it should have been in the few weeks the system wasn't working right due to their mistake, so really I'm out more like $400 after all is said and done. I hope to have this matter resolved ASAP, and I will update this review if that happens.

If I could give them negative stars I would. They were horrible to try and work with. First time they came out to my house they broke the door frame and said they would come out and fix it but never did. Then after $5000 worth of work the plumbing was still backing up into our house and they told us that was a separate issue and wanted more money from us. After dealing with that they started to ignore us so we went through the BBB and they were lying saying they had been contacting us to try and help which was a complete lie. We finally went through a different company to finish things for us and they told us that Mr. plumber did an incomplete job and that we paid way to much for the incomplete job. Do yourself a favor and go through a different company! I would never recommend this company in a million years!

While the service techs are always fast, efficient, courteous and do a great job, communicating with the staff answering the phone has not been the best. I called two days before my appointment to confirm my appointment and to ask of it was time to renew our service contract. I was told i would not have to renew at this time. The service tech shows up and said it was time to renew. I was not prepared to pay for the service contract because i was told it was not time to renew. Also, we always schedule our service with Steve Strange but today a different person showed up. Logan did a good job for us but we were expecting Steve. We scheduled our next service in December and again requested Steve and i hope that our request is honored next time. All in all, the service provided by Williams service techs is great but i feel that communication with the office staff could be improved.

Wow! Very responsive and customer friendly service. We had a problem with our air conditioning unit on a very hot day. All of of sudden hot air just started blasting from the system. We immediately called the ready access service number left on the furnace ducting from their last service call. They responded by sending a technician within the hour! I called Williams because of the great reviews. I have a warm spot in my floor. I obviously needed a duct checked out. They came out as scheduled and I explained what was going on. Tech went under the house presumably to fix the issue. He came back out to inform me that the duct insulation fell off where the in the spot that was warm. Instead of putting the insulation back on, he told me it would be $375 to put the insulation back on (seemed quite unreasonable). I was dumbfounded that it could not be done for the $94 it cost to tell me that. Also told me I needed $6000+ vapor barrier (the crawl is already insulated). I literally paid for a salesman to come to my house. I feel like I was scammed and will never use them again. Thanks for nothing. UPDATE: I called Nathan on Wednesday and left a message for him to call me. I thought it would be fair to give them an opportunity to take care of my issue. Friday afternoon and still no return call. WOW! I am pretty irritated and confused. Was the review response only for show? I guess I can't downgrade to zero stars.

We used this company for many years to clean and service our furnace and air conditioning units. Within the past 4 years the service has declined drastically! We had a technician that apparently sabotaged our air conditioner while servicing it several years ago. It was working perfectly when he got there (we believe he released several pounds of Freon) as the air conditioner failed after he left! We called another company who Fixed the problem by adding back the Freon that had mysteriously been lost. That was 4 years ago and the unit still works perfectly! The new company we were using ended up being purchased by Williams comfort air. Lucky us! We had our unit serviced about a month ago. The technician was more concerned in selling us parts that are still working and did very little cleaning . My husband always watches the service techs as we have lost a level of trust their advertising boasts about! This tech did sub par work. We will NEVER give Williams Comfort Air another chance.

My technician, Joey, was personable and professional. As his employer would expect of him, additional possible services were offered and discussed with no pressure. Some people may resent these services being brought up. But, he would not be doing his job if he didn't. I understand this. I had no problem with the offer of resigning up for the two visit annual service call plan. This service was my second and final of a two visit plan I signed up for last year. You get more benefits using the service plan and there is a reduction in overall cost as compared to just setting up individual Summer and Winter system inspection and service. I'm very satisfied using Williams Comfort Air for all my heating and cooling needs.

I'm a property manager and a tenant took it on himself to have the ducts cleaned. The technicians indicated there was mold and recommended a UV light be installed in the furnace. I called Chapman's, with whom I have used for years (Steve Rosemeyer is the best, services half the properties I have under contract, my own, my sister's and daughter's.) Verbally they indicated that there is a mold problem. I called Williams Comfort Air to discuss this, and was told they couldn't speak with me because I wasn't the owner (the tenant isn't the owner, either.) Long story short, the two technicians aren't licensed in Indiana to evaluate or treat mold. Beware if they try to sell you something -- and get more than one opinion.

We were very happy with the service tech they first sent out, and request him now specifically for our future service calls. It’s always an easy decision to renew each year. We also appreciate the fact that they test several components of our system and share with us when things are starting to show signs of wear/potential future failure ; this certainly makes it easier to prepare mentally for the larger repair or replacement expense that may be needed down the road.

Chris was very thorough and very clear on what was going on with our air conditioning unit he found no issues outside of a minor vent adjustment for Winter and summer. Chris offered me their service contract but was not pushy about the whole thing I did ask about duct cleaning and he gave me an estimate on that and it was already cheaper than the last company I had over.Anyone consider heating and air service I strongly recommend this company and especially Chris his service with outstanding and very profesional!
