We hired Merry Maids to clean our house. We are moving out, so the entire house is empty. The floors had been professionally cleaned by someone else. All they really had to do, was clean the Refrigerator/Freezer, wipe-out the pre-cleaned oven, clean the cook-top, and microwave, dust and wipe out the cabinets and drawers, and the bathrooms. They did this work on 5/7/2019. I checked the results on Wednesday, 5/8/19. They had not cleaned the Refrigerator/Freezer, nor had they wiped-out all the cabinets and drawers. One sink in particular was dirty as well. I phoned them and they returned on Thursday, 5/9/19. I left a note for them on the most obvious problems. I checked the work today 5/10/19. They did clean the Refrigerator/Freezer, and the sink was cleaner. The cabinets were not cleaned. When I called, they said I left the cabinets full and therefore they could not be cleaned! There is nothing in my cabinets. The things they overlooked were obvious. The crew doesn't understand clean, or did not want to do the work. I expect more from Merry Maids, They certainly did not live up to their name and reputation..

I would not suggest that ANYONE use their services. They not only ripped my mother off, but they lied to her. They sent three girls out at the very end of the day, who were tipped by the way, to clean. They stayed 40 minutes and vacuumed one room and the steps, changed one bed, and cleaned a toilet. Nothing else was done. They did not dust, mop, wash down baseboards... None of the things were done that were promised. I would not recommend that anyone use their business, unless they want to be disappointed and ripped off. My mom had planned to use them monthly, and I had made an appointment for them to give an estimate, and then in turn clean my sister's home, but that has been cancelled. Merry Maids should be called Lazy Maids that in turn rip you off!!!!

Merry Maids has done a great job with our house. They are very flexible with scheduling and they will take requests for special cleaning. The ladies that come to our house are friendly with us and careful with our items. Merry Maids provides reminders through email, text or a call based on how we would like the reminder. The cleaning that they do is pretty good for the space of our house. We have 3 dogs and two kids so we appreciate that they keep our house in good shape!

I have never had my house cleaned by professional cleaners but decided it was about time to experience what it feels like. Merry Maids did an incredible job We have a dog so our house is always a challenge for cleaners. Kathy and Tracy did a great job with every aspect of the house. they made it sparkle from floor to ceiling, including the fridge, freezer, cabinets, even the oven. I called to schedule an appointment and they were able to fit me into their schedule within a week. I would highly recommend Merry Maids.

Also, because of that canceling, our house can obviously be dirtier for the next cleaning. So that’s a big shout out to Pam, Jennifer (?). I sure wish I wrote everyone’s name down in the office and at home who have been terrific. Now, one leading question: Do your employees receive benefits like paid time off and health insurance? Years ago, I picked Merry Maids because I heard you did. That’s incredibly important to me when I look to hire any business. Thank you for requesting my opinion, and I hope you carefully listen to your employees’ ideas and concerns and give them plenty of compliments and bonuses. The best thing a boss can do is to demonstrate to his or her employees a willingness to do the same work they do. You would be celebrated, Paul, if you showed up at a house and cleaned side by side with the women so they could get out earlier one day ...and still be paid their full amount. Lately, the very nice ladies have been doing a sloppy job cleaning. I was informed by one of the ladies that they are given a time frame to complete each home cleaning. With that being said, I feel like they rush through to get the job done and what comes with that is sloppy work and not a thorough cleaning. We have been using Merry Maids for almost 10 years and the ladies that come are very sweet. Unfortunately, I am searching for a new cleaning company/individual.

Girls are so friendly and work very hard. They always do anything I ask. However I find that some teams clean better than others. Such as some teams really scrub and get my faucets and sinks clean, whereas other teams may clean better in another area but not as well on the sinks and faucets. However the overall cleaning is satisfactory and I am thankful for it as I am not able to clean my own house at this time. I love it when they come and leave with my dusting done and my carpets swept and my bathrooms clean. I would recommend Merry Maids to anyone. I was given a gift to have my house cleaned by a family member. Now that that gift is up, I am continuing to pay myself to keep them coming. I truly think they are worth it.
