Just had Langenwalter's out to clean carpets in the living room, family room, halls, stairs, and master bath. Always do a great job. Got out every stain from doggie paws...2 dogs with webbed paws tend to gather lots of bark, mud, etc. Even with wiping off their paws every time they come in, it still can carry over and grind into the carpeting. I would also like to recommend them for when you have water damage! It has happened to us twice with a water softener flood in the basement and twice with frozen pipes. They are IMMEDIATELY out here and cleaning it up. Saved our carpeting and drywall!!!!! I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Our carpets were cleaned by Langenwalter in the fall of 2015 and I would agree with previous posts that applaud the professional office staff and pleasant technicians. Where our experience apparently differs from other listed experiences is that, despite being told our carpets would dry in 8-10 hours, they remained soaking wet for over 24 hours and did not completely dry for about 36-48 hours after our cleaning. As I have allergies to mold, this was a cause of concern for me, yet my concerned phone call at hour 7 was essentially laughed off, however politely done. When I posted my experience on Angie's List, the posted response from Langenwalter was that "very soiled" carpets may require several passes, requiring more water in the carpet and, thus, a delayed dry time. That response is both inaccurate and insulting, as the carpets in question are less than 2 years old, used primarily by retired adults who generally remove shoes on entering the house and would not under any circumstances be considered "very soiled". As a rule, I have my carpets cleaned every 6-12 months and have never before had carpets take more than 10 hours to dry. The reality is that the technician did not adequately remove the water used during our cleaning. Despite the overall good results of the cleaning, I could not recommend this company to friends due to excessive dry time and the posted response to my concerns.

First time I've used carpet & tile cleaning from Langenwalter, via the recommendation of a realtor. It could not have been a better experience. The two bedrooms, loft, and stairs have light-colored carpet that shows everything, and now it looks so much better. Plus I had the ceramic tile floor of the screened porch cleaned - also done well. The very pleasant tech, Jay, arrived right on time and was very careful around any furniture, baseboards, and wall corners - protecting the latter with plastic guards. Price-wise the cost was quite fair. I don't think anyone could have done better. Will use them again for sure.

We used Langenwalter/Pro Dry for a water issue. My wife told our oldest daughter to run the tub for her little sister. Unfortunately our daughter forgot to turn the water off and we had an over flow of water in our bath, hallway and coming through the light fixtures of our kitchen. We called Langenwalter/Pro Dry. I do like that it is 100% guaranteed as I had some tough cat urine to try and get out. They came back a second time and will come out again as needed. Our carpet was older, worn and had some bad pet stains as well as some stains in my children's playroom. Not quite sure what it was exactly but we could not get it out with our at home carpet cleaner, nor could Stanley Steamer when we had them clean it once. We opted to try Langenwalter and I was totally impressed. The technician was on time, polite, courteous to my home, and really spent the time getting those stains out. I couldn't believe he was able to do it! Its a nice bonus that they left a bottle of the spot cleaner with me too. Buyer BEWARE-after years of great service, one cheap new rug (one random incident) was damaged "by them." They did not want to do anything but take it to their warehouse and try to manipulate the heck out of it. We have allergy issues so that was not an option. NO other customer service offer of credit or anything else. If God forbid anything gets damaged by them accidentally they will NOT ever replace or credit the price for your rug without a fight and then they will refuse ever servicing again. Absence of customer service. Just another business wanting to save money anyway possible. (Note the rug was @ 10" x 12", though the 4x6 was also warped. They cleaned 6 rugs, 3 bedrooms, a hallway and stairs) Very sad accepting responsibility in an appropriate manner is flipped into bully accusations at the customer. The ONLY thing that they considered bullying was the comment that we would warn friends and others with a review. That's basic business. (Note the carpet cleaner himself was told about the rug that day before leaving the house. We were told to give it a few days to make sure it didn't reshape. Sadly they are not honest in their reply)

We have been using Langenwalter for many years after a painter spilled green paint on a white carpet & they were able to get it all out! Amazing! They are great to work with-easy to schedule and they call before they come. Scott has been fabulous-going the extra mile to work on our problem areas. We have a cat who unfortunately urinates on the basement carpet (& a few other carpets). He pre-treats the areas a couple days before the carpet cleaning. On the day of the cleaning he worked hard & went over those areas several times to remove the smell & stains. He also got out a red wine stain on cream carpet and cleaned our throw rugs. Our carpets look fantastic & I wouldn’t use anyone else as they are very professional and thorough!

I can't attest to how well they clean carpet yet but plan to after my minor catastrophe this morning. I got wrapped up in conversation with my car lights on in a gas station parking lot and when I tried to start the car, the battery had died. One of the employees for Langenwalter noticed my dilemma from the far end of the lot and asked if I needed help. I had only 15 minutes to get to work by 8am. His name was Chris. He waited for the customer next to me to come out from the store so he could park next to me to jump my car obviously taking up time in his day to be a good guy. We use Langenwalter for our whole house carpet cleaning, area rugs and spot touch ups in the spring. We have used Langenwalter every year for five years. It is very easy to schedule (or reschedule) your cleaning with their office. They are very flexible. They arrive on time and are very efficient in cleaning and address all issues. They are always respectful of furniture and walls, and leave all the carpets fresh and spotless. They are very reasonably priced and have seasonal specials. I would recommend them for all your carpet cleaning needs. (Especially if you have an unpredictable beagle like mine - you don't have to worry as they can clean, deodorize and protect any spots)

We hired Langenwalter to clean our Rug from Arhaus. When we got it back it was totally ruined. The rug was hand stitched in India and they had used a product to clean that had left bright white streaks through it and it looked nothing like when I took it. They came back and picked it up to re-clean. The gentlemen picking it up looked at the tag and even stated it should not have had water put on it...which by looking at the tag was obvious what had been done. The rug looked a bit better after the second cleaning but nowhere like it looked when we dropped it off. They stated it looked fine and that is just what happens when you have a rug cleaned. The colors are supposed to change on it.

The staff on the initial call was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. However, once arriving at the home the time taken to actually clean the carpet was no more than what it would take me to vacuum it. The job was not thorough in anyway and stains were not removed. As well some of the information provided on the initial phone call was different than that provided by the individual that did the cleaning. When I called afterward with some of my concerns, I was told many excuses and the individual became argumentative and unwilling to reasonably rectify the problems. If you are looking for someone to just give your carpets a once over they are ok. If you want a thorough cleaning of your carpets this is not the company. Given what they charge compared to the service they provide I would NOT recommend this company.

Amazing! I took a big creme rug that I had purchased off Ebay. A rug that I had been searching for years to buy since it was no longer being made. The rug came with what looked like a large dirt soiled area. They worked on the rug for a few Weeks recleaning it until it was almost gone. Then the Owner actually took it upon himself to use another method to completely get this rug looking brand new. Im blown away at how great it looks and not to mention the time and effort that was spent. I have used other companies in the past and none of the stains ever go away. When they leave your house it looks great but the stains come right back. I will never use anyone else again but Langenwalter. The whole staff is so friendly and just unbelievable customer service. I also read nearly every review before using them and its apparent that this company takes pride in their business. They make every effort to even satisfy angry customers as seen in the responses in the reviews. Thanks again and Merry Christmas to you all! Also I want to mention if you can take your rugs to them for a couple of Weeks versus them coming to your home I feel like the outcome is better. They have an amazing facility with equipment they can't bring to your home. :)

Hands down the best carpet cleaning company in the state of Indiana. When scheduling the appointment the office staff I talked to were very friendly and gave me pre-arrival tips to get my house ready for the cleaning. The night before the appointment they called and reminded me of my appointment, which was very helpful. When the technician arrived he wore booties and was very easygoing with my dogs. The technician was very professional and patient with all my questions and concerns. After the cleaning my carpets and hardwoods looked 110% better than before. He also didn't try and up sell me at any point during the cleaning, which is what I disliked about other companies. He told me about the other services Langenwalter offers, including water damage restoration, which I had no clue about. The day after the cleaning one of the ladies in the office called me to ask how the cleaning was and to follow up. Overall, I was extremely satisfied and would recommend this company over all others in the industry!

Ryan came out within 2 hours of calling for an estimate and was very practical in the services quoted. He came back out that afternoon to set up the equipment and checked in every day (which took less time than expected). After the dry out, he cleaned our carpet and re-installed everything like the water damage never happened. We were referred to Langenwalter and will certainly do the same for anyone who needs carpet services!
