Cottage Care has been a great choice to help us maintain our routine cleaning duties of our home in order to enjoy more time with our family outside working long days. The ladies that have been to the house are always friendly and respectful. They have been consistently thorough in the areas of the home they do clean for us. I wish they would move furniture and other objects (such as picture frames, countertop appliances, etc.) to get full coverage when cleaning an area, but I understand this would warrant more time, liability and costs on their end. We will continue to use Cottage Care for our cleaning duties on a monthly basis with great appreciation to them for this service.

I hired cottage care for monthly cleaning and they did a TERRIBLE job. The two staff members arrived and didn't introduce themselves, didn't say hi to me or anything. I literally opened the door for them and they walked past me, set their stuff down and talked to each other and acted like I wasn't there. Completely unprofessional. I left to run some errands and when I returned, there was SO much left undone. They didn't dust any of my doors or on top of appliances, left food crumbs all over on my stove top, my appliances were all streaky, my floors had dried up water spots on them, hard water spots still remained on my shower door, a ring of dirt still remained around my drain. There were hairs in my sink, there were cheerios on the floor around my kitchen table still, my blinds were still dusty and they left the trash on my laundry room floor. I could go on and on. but I'll just stop there- you get the point. I was looking forward to a clean home (my Mother's Day treat) and cottage care dropped the ball. When I called to complain, they sent over staff members to correct these issues, and also sent over the inspector (who had already inspected the home and missed these things). It was ultimately all fixed, but I was so surprised that this is the quality of cottage care. Also, when they say that they do kitchen floors on hands & knees- thats a lie. Our cameras proved that to be false. In addition, my cameras picked up the staff talking about how annoying my "stupid little dog" is because he was barking. Cannot believe I paid what I did to have these people in my home.

never have I ever worked for a lady or people who have such an attitude towards there employees. called me stating they didnt know what my "issue" was when I didnt show to work cuz of a medical reason, i was not able to reach them. or the fact that the ripped me off on hours on my check!

Since both myself and wife work full-time, demanding jobs, the feeling we have when we come home to a clean home is wonderful. Without help, we end up spending our weekend doing chores and taking even more time away from our two boys. The only negative preventing this from a 5 star review is the turnover we have had cleaning our home. I suspect this may be normal to the industry, but we have had a couple of occasions where places were missed. I will stress that this has only been a couple of occasions. Overall, we have been very pleased with the service and the rates offered by Cottage Care and we would recommend to others looking for the same type of service we have.
