I would highly recommend hiring American Carpet Cleaners for your carpet cleaning service needs. I had hired them for my two-bedroom apartment with the three (3) room clean and deodorize and rotovac powder scrub add-on service. My apartment complex had just upgraded my unit with eco-friendly carpet when I moved in three years ago. I hadn't cleaned my carpet, other than vacuuming while I lived there. I had a cat with me for all three years and I had a roommate, his young son, and a puppy (last month) also stay with me for a year. You can imagine what the carpet looked like - well used with stains dotted around the place. There were dark stains by the front entry (only god knows what), orange stains by the door in the second bedroom (unsure but from roommate's room), and even a light blue stain by the kitchen (dropped gel-colored icing). I was sure the orange stains wouldn't come out due to their color. I wasn't positive the dark ones would come out either. I figured I'd have to pay for the replacement of the carpet in those areas. I treated the blue stain the same day so I wasn't worried about that. While Mike and his crew cannot perform miracles, they sure got close! All three stains mentioned above were completely gone. GONE. The carpet was revived and brightened since the fibers were loosened apart and were moved upwards and back into place. There was normal carpet indentations where my heaviest furniture lay which is completely normal! But, those matted areas weren't blatantly obvious as they were before they cleaned those areas. The move-out guy said the carpets were in really great shape for the length I had been in the apartment. Pictures are worth a thousand words and my only regret is I did not take before photos. The darker / discolored areas in the photos are simply due to the lighting or the pattern left by their cleaning process. I was not able to review their until work several hours later (I was at work) and it was beginning to get dark when I took the photos. It’s very comparable or cheaper than other cleaning services (Stanely Steamers, ServiceMaster Clean, Carpet Cleaning by Sears). I found them via the Indy Star A-List since I’m not from the area. You can book your appointment online and they offer coupons. I had a $25 deposit for the appointment which was taken off of the total bill due the day of the cleaning. Mike gave me a call later that day to confirm the details (location, date, time) of the appointment. He also called me the morning of our appointment to let me know they were on their way. I couldn’t be happier with my choice of hiring them!

American Carpet Cleaners are fantastic. I have been having my carpets cleaned for years and years, this company is the best (hands down) that have EVER cleaned my carpets. I want to add: when we had the carpets cleaned, we left our home for three days. We have not done this in the past. Upon our return, the carpets had NO soap residue, the house smelt clean and refreshed and the nap on the rug is still standing straight up. I don't know if this is because we did not walk on the carpet for three days or not. However, the result is fantastic. The owner, Mike, is great to work with, the price was comparable to other carpet cleaners in Indy however, the cleaning results are not comparable. American Carpet is MUCH better than their competitors!!!

Nobody is allowed to work on our home except Mike! Dryer vents, hvav ducts, carpets, rugs, you name it- Mike does it. The chemicals he uses have such a great clean smell to them. It’s not too pervasive- just the right amount. We’ve never had a stain we expected to come out that Mike couldn’t remove. Stanley Steamer is a huge disappointment compared to Mike! He is also very friendly to kids ... a true gentleman.
