Hands down the best most reliable service out there. I originally contacted Service Master when our store had a water main that broke, after waiting for over an hour for them to come down and evaluate the damage no one showed up. I asked a fellow business owner who to use and they recommended Americlean to me. I called them up and they had someone down here with in twenty minutes. The technicians were amazing, communicating with us what needed to be done and were more then thorough in their work. I will never call another company again, since this I have used them on multiple other properties we own and each time they went above and beyond my expectations. They assigned Keefer to our account and he was nothing short of amazing, he not only did the work with his team but he also followed up with us a month after the work to see how we were doing. BEST COMPANY OUT THERE HANDS DOWN! Thank you Americlean!!!!!!

I highly recommend that you DONT use this company. i scheduled a clean and when they arrived contractors weren't done so THEY suggested i wait to have clean done later. Then they showed up unannounced last week and charged me $105 for NOTHING. I was sick when they came, i didn't have a appointment as my construction was still in progress. Thieves!! Scam beyond belief. I offered to pay for their gas the first time and reschedule when my job was done but they insisted i pay the $105 charge for fuel??? REALLY???? Don't use these people!!!

I got a call just now from a business that delivered my furniture, they got my rug dirty and called these people to clean my entryway. They explained to me that they are being billed for a cleaner showing up and doing no work. I work at the university, so naturally, I wasn't home when they arrived. After work I found a bill at my door. I do understand people's time as valuable, I worked for a training company in Spain before I came here, but I doubt a few minutes of waiting is worth angering your client. The furniture delivery guys waited for 90 minutes for me to get done with work three weeks ago to make my delivery, and they refrained from charging me even a penny. They even said that carpet cleaning services would be paid for for up to 120$ for just a few spots on the rug. The furniture store apologized to me and issued me a check for 120$. The manager was very upset, and this wasted a great deal of time for all of us. I hope other businesses I work with here are not so callous, but so far I do not have a good impression. Cheers.

Beginning with the phone receptionist who took my initial call and was very professional in explaining the services the company provides to the technicians (Tony and Wes) who came on time, did a great job within the time frame specified, processed my payment, and advised on the invoice, which I also received as expected. Will recommend and will use their services again.

Was very disappointed with the cleaning. We went to review it and saw was still stained and dirty. Looked like technician just pulled dirt around room. Was putting house up for sale. Very upset. Called asked to talk to manager person who answered phone said she could take my complaint. I told her not acceptible wanted them to go back still looked dirty and stained. She said they would not go back. Technician coved his crappy work by putting on receipt could not get all dirt and stains out. Which I never signed. Would not give any discount We had to call Stanley Cleaners who came over for another $200 and cleaned and neuterized and said they would have been embarrassed to leave the carpet the way Americlean did ! No pride in work and definitely did not back up their work. Looked great when 2nd cleaner left. ! Had to pay twice !! Should only have called Stanley Cleaners 1st never call Americlean. Would not even back up their company or quality of work. Only the techniction !

Bought a home that smokers lived in. Called a place in Kalona but they were no longer doing duct work cleaning, then called a local lumberyard in another town. Both places referred me to Americlean out of Ceder Rapids, both places said they heard good things about Americlean. From my initial call to the personable and informative person answering the phone to the technician Michael who came out to clean the duct work and then seal the duct work, I was fully aware of process, products and cost. Michael was also very patient with my many additional questions at time of service. It's no shock their reviews are stellar. Consider my experience and review the same.

I had Americlean of Iowa City do a service call to one of our customers (we sell furniture) after we tracked some mud on the rug. Customer was not there and they charged us a minimum service fee of 75$ (understandable). What is not understandable is the fact that they left the bill for the customer after I told them to bill our business repeatedly. Imagine being a customer, at first elated that a company would clean your carpets for you, but then being left with a bill with a still dirty rug. Unprofessional. Our business and affiliates will make every effort to not work with this organization in the future.

This is the second time I had Mitchell come out to do my carpets. The first time was when I moved into my new home and I wanted fresh clean carpets. The second time was when the painters spilled paint on my carpet and I needed to get it removed. Both times Mitchell arrived promptly and was very professional. He was very pleasant and got the job done in a timely manner. The office staff was also very accommodating when trying to get me scheduled. I had an awful experience dealing with this company. We were given a quote on how much it would take to get our house cleaned and when the cleaner, Mike, came to the house the first comment he made was, “Wow this place is like a prison cell, it wont take me long at all.” Then went on to tell us that we had to pay an extra 60 dollars more because he considered our living room to be a living room and dining room just because we had a small table in the corner. He went on to say, “I can take cash or check, but cash would be better so we can just keep it under the table.” I was outraged by that comment. I knew he was just trying to rip me off. He refused to start any work until I gave him the money so I wrote a check out to him and spend the next hour on the phone getting bounced from person to person trying to handle this problem. I finally got the person who was in charge of the Iowa City area and she basically told me I lied as well that I must have told their representatives incorrect information. She then went on to contradict what her cleaner said and told me, “We go by the size of the rooms, not based on what you have in them.” So at that point I told her what the cleaner said and she continued to defend him. I was fed up trying to deal with her, she was acting like a child so I just threatened to call the better business bureau to see what they thought of this information and she finally caved and said, “Well I guess I am just going to need to be out those 60 dollars then.” After she agreed not to charge us the extra money, the cleaner went on to tell us that we did not tell them that we had carpeted steps (which we did forget to tell them that) and I said I would be willing to pay extra to get those taken care of since I did not specify that we had them. He refused and said he didn’t have to do anything that wasn’t on the work order. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They were nothing but a headache and acted like children. This took place during weekend move out in Iowa City so they knew we had to get our carpets cleaned since it was a rental and that our hands were bound. They will give you a price then try to rip you off at the door since they know it would be hell to find another place to clean it that same weekend.
