I had three units serviced by Reliable Hearing and AI r this past week. I was surprised that they do work on Sundays for the same price as a weekday call. The technician that came to my house was a gentleman named Avery Kendrick. He was prompt and courteous during his visit and took the time to explain what he found and what he needed to do for each of my units. It had been sometime since my last service call as I felt my last service call was underwhelming to be nice about it. I was reluctant to call Reliable after this experience but knew it was time for work to be done. I am glad I did as I could not have been happier with the service Avery Kendrick provided. I feel Mr. Kendrick is thorough, honest and goes above what is expected in the services he provides. I applaud Reliable for having service people like Mr. Kendrick on their staff. He has changed my mind on using Reliable for my future needs and I will make it a point to ask for him when it is time to schedule my winter check up in January.

My air conditioning had gone out on a day when the temperature was 96 degrees. I called Reliable to see if I could get a technician to come check it out. To my surprise someone was at my home in just a couple of hours. Terrance Neal, the Technician that came was very professional, very knowledgeable and got me up and running in no time. My in-laws are 88 and 98, and their AC went out one warm afternoon. Another company had been servicing their unit for 20+ years. They came out and said it was leaking Freon. The cost to repair would be quite expensive so we decided to replace both the heating and the air units. We asked them to give us a quote, but they couldn’t come out until 9:30 the next day. Since we are happy Reliable customers already, we called Reliable for a quote. Michael came out immediately and gave us a quote. Reliable sent Sam and Winston the next morning to install the new unit. The new unit is extremely nice and it cooled down the house very quickly! Everyone is extremely pleased with the work and response of Reliable! My in-laws are now happy Reliable customers!

I hired Reliable through Lowe’s to install my ac unit and evaporator coil. The technician , LT arrived on time and was all about business. He immediately went over what was being installed and verified the pricing was correct and what I had agreed. He draped my carpet and hardwoods in the areas in which he would be going in and out as to not bring in unwanted debris. He was by himself but worked diligently to handle all parts of ensuring my system was installed properly. Upon completion, he explained the differences in the old vs new system features and made sure my house temperature was set to a comfortable cooling temperature for me. I am excited and would definitely use them again. I wish I had used them for my furnace install a year ago. Thanks LT for your professionalism.

This is only my second google review in the past year or more. I am fully convinced the many positive reviews on here are manufactured from Reliable Heating and Air or at LEAST the reviews for the plumbing department are. I was given a written quote for several minor plumbing items I needed done . It was $200 less than my second lowest quote so I thought it was a great deal. I accepted the written quote and scheduled service. However, the day of service they sent a plumber that had not been given my written quote and that plumber said he could not honor the quote (which quote was approved by Don the supervisor). The plumber was kind and caught in the middle. He said he could do the work but it would be at least $500 more than my written quote even though nothing else was seen at my home that was beyond what the written quote pertained to. So, I ended up taking off of work for no reason. Very disappointed! Luckily, this is the first time I have ever had to deal with a company giving a quote and not honoring it. If you are looking for an honorable Master plumber with integrity and over 20 years of experience I suggest Chris Scrocca Plumbing. (No, I am not receiving anything for this endorsement and never knew of this company or this man before August 2019).

Technician Jason was friendly and knowledgeable. Fixed our A/C - - coil in one unit needed replacement. Also took care of a code compliance issue they mentioned during their regular maintenance visit. They did not clean up the stuff they tracked in or dropped on our floors -no big deal but most repair people we have had clean up after themselves. Only big issue with repair effort was damage to our new (2 day old) front door where they scratched the surface bringing in the new coil. I discovered the damage before they left and mentioned it to him. I was told that Reliable would pay for any repairs. What a pain. I will try to fix it myself but it hurts to see a beautiful new door scratched.

My air conditioning went out on a hot Sunday night. I called Reliable and they told me that they could send someone the next day between 10 AM and 2 PM. This was Labor Day so I was hoping that they could meet that timeline on a holiday. To my surprise my phone rang at 8 AM and it was a reliable technician letting me know that he would be at my home within the next 30 minutes. Not only was he two hours early, which was amazing he also was very polite professional and helpful in getting the issue resolved within just a few minutes. He did have to replace a major component on the air conditioner however he explained everything that he was doing and asked for my approval before moving forward. He let me know the cost the price everything before he did any of the work. After the work was completed it was exactly the dollar amount that he told me it would be no extra charges no updates no taxes nothing to make the price higher. This was such a blessing on such a hot summer Labor Day holiday weekend. I have always used Reliable for this exact reason. All of their technicians seem to be professional and caring to their customers.

I'm very disappointed. The technician that came to our house grossly overestimated the repairs that we needed. When did up after several other estimates going with another plumber. Jordan from Reliable said we needed a new water heater but in fact it was a leaking pipe. And then he said that the water pressure was too high but all the other plumbers said that in fact it wasn't. Jordan quoted us $2400 and we ended up paying $450. This is the second time one of your plumbers has tried to get extra U necessary money out of us. We won't be calling you again.

I always have a pleasant experience dealing with this company. They place households with babies at the top of the list which is awesome. The one time I did have an issue a manager called me directly with apologies and gave me 50 bucks credit towards my next service. They really take customer service seriously. Each tech who has come to my house was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They take their time and explain things so I was able to understand. They are always the first company I call and since I'm always taken care of I never have to call another AC company. In summer months and really hot days they are usually booked up and have no available appointments but they are worth the wait usually when placed on the standby list you will be seen within 24 hours. Reason I didn't give 5 stars is it took them a few visits to figure out the issue with our AC unit. We didn't have to pay for most of the visits. We had techs telling us different things but in the end they figured it out and it was cheap fix. Techs are honest and that is a total plus, not just out to get your money.

Cold showers are not great. Waking up on the first day of a 3-day weekend without hot water is also not great. Finding out you’re a horrible homeowner who had a unnoticed rusted water heater...not great? Ha! You know what is great? Getting same day service on a newer, larger water heater. I am a little disappointed - Reliable has great feedback that I why I called them last week for a appointment. I am wanting to purchase a generator. When I called I asked for the first job out. made the appointment for a estimate 8:10 to 9:30 am perfect . I am a small business owner - I have to be at work, At 8:30 I called to be sure I was on the list for a visit. I was told yes he was on the way had been in a meeting. After 8:30 I received a call my time had changed to 10 to 11. I canceled the visit. I am disappointed I will purchase a generator - not through Reliable Heating and Air appointments are important they need to be kept as promised.

I had a leak in my finished basement at 1:30 am on a Saturday. Reliable was recommended to me by a contractor friend. They responded immediately to me and their technician Clint arrived on time. He did an excellent job finding the source of the leak and fixing it within a couple of hours. He pointed out other things that I should take card of as well. I highly recommend Reliable and Clint in particular.

Excellent work in short period of time, punctual, efficent. Do not be fooled. Warning: their rental program. Per the tech and office verbally told me I would own hot water heater outright at end of lease. But written contact clearly states a purchase option for 811$ at end of lease doubling the original cost of parts and labor. Read the fine print.

I called Reliable and had them come out to replace a Motor Run Capacitor that failed. I had already ordered the replacement part for $10 dollars online, but I didn't want to go the weekend without A/C so I called Reliable. The technician was friendly and showed up on time (during the 4 hour window). They wanted to charge me $240 for the capacitor plus the $89 service fee - $329 plus tax. I expect there to be a markup on equipment and I expect to pay labor - but a $230 markup? I told Reliable not to complete the work and went the weekend without A/C. I still had to pay the $89 dollar service fee. The part came on Monday and it took me 15 minutes to replace the capacitor and get the A/C unit cooling. They wanted to charge me over $329 for 15 minutes of work plus a $10 part. I understand that the typical home owner would not replace a capacitor, but to charge $240 for a $10 part is ridiculous.

Plumber, John, has an apprentice with him, Andrew. They made the appointment within the estimated hours. They diagnosed the issue fairly quickly and fixed it all within 20 minutes. The toilet is working so I can’t complain. I greatly appreciate their services and would contact Reliable again in the future.

We had a new AC unit installed by Reliable a few weeks ago, when suddenly it started to make extremely loud noises. We called for service and they were able to come out the next day by 9am. Incredible considering the heat the past few weeks, we thought they'd be booked. Service tech, Bruce, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He wore those bootie covers on his shoes and left no mess at all. Best of all...problem is fixed. We will always use Reliable.
