Called 30 minutes before scheduled arrival time, My service men were Ken and Ryan, They got a tour of my home and the area that needed to be cleaned...Ken was very informative and professional. Upon giving me my estimate, they got to work. The service in my house was quick and thorough. This company is very lucky to have such great employees working for them.We would most definitely recommend this company and will absolutely be using them in the future. My carpets look great!!! This is the second year we've had Precision Carpet out to clean and Scotch Guard our new carpets. This year, Owen Brown and his assistant used special lights to find several cat pee stains that we didn't notice ourselves, They did a thorough inspection of our carpets, and then an excellent job prepping and steam cleaning. Afterwards, Owen spent time to teach us about how to protect both our health and investment. We'll ask for him to come back next year.

Gary and Andrew cleaned, disinfected, and deodorized the carpets and upholstered furniture at my brother's apartment. They were very PROFESSIONAL and did an EXCELLENT job, going above and beyond our expectations about what could be achieved. We later contracted with them to do a "clean out" of his apartment, and once again, they were very professional, polite, courteous, and tactful about what needed to be done and what they could do to help. Neighbors and the apartment management commented about how hard these guys worked! Everyone was impressed with the quality of their work. They were able to MANAGE and COORDINATE other service providers to enable a successful move and final cleaning of the apartment including rugs, furniture upholstery, and even cleaned the car upholstery. Gary and Andrew are HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY, an essential quality when giving total access to your home and assets! Dave and Josh came to my home right on time for my scheduled carpet cleaning. Dave gave me a thorough explanation of my cost, after inspecting my carpet and tiles. I was thinking about buying new carpet and spending a lot of money. After they completed their cleaning, my twenty year old carpet and bathroom tiles looked brand new. Wife called to use a coupon for steam cleaning our microfiber couches... note, she told them it was microfiber during the call. Techs arrived and said you can't steam clean microfiber and it would cost $360. We said no so they talked to home office and knocked the price down to $225. We said no and told them to leave. They could and should have told us the coupon didn't apply when we called. Saving the news for when showing up to do the work is suspicious.

I had almost the whole house carpet cleaned today. Owen inspected the carpet with a black light, and it showed pet urine in places. We agreed on the square footage that was to be cleaned. Owen did the calculations and gave me a veteran discount. The carpet has not dried yet, but it appears to be about the best carpet cleaning that I have ever had. Also I want to mention the Owen was polite, and professional. Thanks Owen. I don't recall ever giving anyone in the past a 5 star, but this is an exception.

I would not recommend this place at all. Their prices are outrageous and their coupons don't mean anything. The technician did not do a good job and when asked could he go over a certain spot again because it didn't look right he got an attitude but if im paying $200 for a simple carpet cleaning it should not be a bother for me to be satisfied with the service. I was also misquoted on the square footage of the rooms that were to be cleaned. I should have thought twice before going with this company but never again.

Seen the ad in the Mint magazine and called , fully expecting just the 2 room price of about $45.00. Once Morgan arrived and did the walk though and agave me options to help increase the life of the carpet I wasn't upset about the new price. Beware of the bait and switch. An ad in the money pages listed 4 rooms for $44.95 and I ended up paying $250. I fell for the "chemical boost" because I have a pet. My carpets look no different than a regular steam clean that I've had in the past. I definitely got scammed. Although the tech was friendly, I will not use this company again. Also, if you live in the "hood", expect to pay beforehand. I was told that I could pay after the job because I didn't live in the "hood". Racist & offensive comment.

I have seen one of the drivers on the road early in the morning, he pulled out into the road behind me while traffic was stopped and was flashing his brights at me. I was not sure what the issue was. When the traffic continued he flashed his brights again and rode very close to my bumper. I was afraid he might hit me. He then pulled out in front of another car to get around me(traffic in my lane was stopped again). He did not get very far. I took down his tag and this company was posted all over the vehicle. I hope they find out who drives tag: JSH044 and reprimands him for his erratic driving.

Horrible HORRIBLE HORRIBLE ...customer service ..wish i could give 0 stars..spoke with RYAN who booked someone to come out to give an estimate because they were advertising 8 rooms and a hall for 74.99 the guy came out and DID NOT CALL before like ryan said he would ...he looked at 5 rooms and quotes 800 dollars ....i called Ryan trying to figure out how did we go from 74.99 to 800 and he start fussing with me saying i should of asked the guy who came out...but i wasn't there when the guy came i had just left for a few moments when he showed up because i never got the call he was coming. Ryan continued to be disrespectful by saying he was not about to play games with me he know they call everybody before coming out. I told ryan i didnt get a call and he said i was lying. Needless to say i didnt get the services but i hope the owner see why they aren't getting much busy because they are false advertising and being disrespectful to the customers. Try Stanley streamers they seem to be a better company !!!

My 88 year old grandmother called for a carpet cleaning special this company was running. $25. She has a small condo that only has limited carpeting. When the company arrived they tried to charge her $495!! She asked them to leave so the manager was called who continued to try to sway her to pay the exorbitant price. She stuck to her guns and asked the two men who were there to please put her furniture back where it was when they arrived. They halfway did it, and she asked them to finish the job for her since the chairs were heavy wooden dining chairs. They did it with a snarky attitude and told her as they walked out and slammed the door “DON’T EVER CALL US AGAIN!” Do not worry. She won’t. And I hope whoever is reading this review doesn’t either! Precision carpet cleaning you should be ashamed of yourselves.

I called them and they were able to come the next day. The guys were great and they were on time. I thought it was going to be cheap because of the coupon but it was way more then I expected. My carpet doesn't even smell clean for the price. I would love a fresh smell or something but overall they did a great job.

I have been using Precision Carpet care for seven years. I've been pressured before by them in the past to increase services, but my desire to have only the maintenance special completed on my carpet was always honored respectfully .... until today. I understand the company's policy of wanting to treat soils and stains in a way that would totally eliminate them and I appreciate the quote to do a chemical cleaning and deep cleaning and a deep scrub, but it was never told to me that I could be refused service if I did not accept their other types of deep cleaning. Again for the past seven years I have always been able to get a five room maintenance special without question. Today I can tell you that I felt humiliated in my own home with my children present as Dave the technician called Ryan the manager to talk with me on the phone about my desire to have only the maintenance special done. After probably 10 minutes of a very awkward speaker phone conversation, I made the decision that I would not be doing business with Precision Carpet care in the future. Clearly the customer does not come first. Clearly loyalty to the company and prior service doesn't mean anything. I've never had someone representing a business talk to me and the way I was talked to today. I will be following this post because I see that Ryan has a history of attacking people personally for posting a complaint about the business. I have an appointment with Honor Carpet Care today. I asked them if I was obligated for any service , they said no and I explained I just had a very bad experience with another company. She guessed immediately who the company was without me even saying their name. It gives me a little bit of comfort to know that I wasn't the only one to experience this level of dissatisfaction. This was the most unprofessional job I’ve seen in all my years of working with various carpet cleaning companies. I called and they quoted me a price of $69.99 over the phone. I knew that they would try to up sale somethings so a I expected to pay $100-$150. When they got there(a team of two which should’ve been a red flag), they began to inspect the carpet then said it would cost $600 to do the job. I mean went all they way out with flash lights claiming that there were pet stains on the carpet and such. I told them to leave and that I would not be using their services. Long story short they convinced me to allow them to do the job at a more reasonable price. 3 days later all stains are still there including the ones they saw using a flash light. Never again, save your money and use a more reputable company.

This company is a FRAUD!!!! How do you take over a company then say you accept their coupons to turn around and say that the coupon is expired then turn around say that the price on the coupon is wrong????!!!! This happened to us tonight folks. I understand that we changed the appointment time twice. Right is right. Fair is fair. But when you leave it up to the carpet cleaner to determine if an area is “ high traffic “; that is leaving it to one’s discretion whether or not they want to charge you extra. One person’s opinion and judgment may not be the next persons. When I asked the manager to pull the initial call that was made on November 14 since he said that he listens to “all calls”; he did not want to do that. No one, I mean NO ONE should be held “captive “ and pay a higher price than quoted. I DO NOT recommend this company to anyone.

WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!! DONT TRUST THE REVIEWS!! Where do I begin. I called and set up an appointment to get my carpets cleaned on Friday on May 10th 2019 based on the high stars for reviews. They had same day availability. Great I thought. Dave and Josh came out to my house yesterday to clean my carpets. The first quote I got was for $649... living room, dinning room and hall. 400 sq ft. I immediately said no on the price. After discussing with them I paid $200 flat rate for the "showcase" special. As soon as they were done I was signing my receipt and Josh opens the door and say we have a problem. Dave and I walk outside and there was water pouring out the side of my house. He hooked his hose up to my faucet ( because their water tank was low so they wanted to steal my water) and broke the PVC pipe from inside the wall. Quickly we turned off the water at the meter and Dave told me it was a quick fix and to call a plumber and they left all the while telling me to give them 5 stars on GOOGLE BECAUSE THEY GET A BONUS IF I DO. I called the front office and they had no idea what was going on. They said they called a plumber to come . About an hour later the same 2 guys came back to fix it. At this time my husband had to get off work early and see what's going on at the house. No water for 5 hours. Finally"hopefully" fixed by carpets cleaners and not a licensed plumber. And on top of everything my carpets STILL have stains on them. As soon as they dried the stains came back. Very dissatisfied with company. Will never use again!! Out $200 for my carpets ,a cut out square on the front of my house because they didn't want to replace the whole sheet of siding , faucet placed sideways ( see pictures) , my flower bed torn up, no telling how much my water bill will be, a half day pay for my husband because he had to come home and STILL STAINED CARPET!! So upset! I will be contacting the BBB as well. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! *Edited- today is Wednesday May 15,2019 and now I have to had contractors come and rip up my daughter's bedroom floor and tear down her wall due to the water damage from the faucet and PVC pipe the carpet guys " broke and fixed". It's costing us $1075 deductible with our home owners insurance all from the carpet cleaners. See attached photos.

Called and spoke to representative and made an appointment today for 3-5pm. 230 Owen Brown called and asked if he could come earlier. Once he arrived he did walk through of rooms. Owen did a great job and actually threw in free pre-spray treatment. Whenever you guys need your carpet cleaned DEFINITELY ask for OWEN. He will treat you right and not try to sell you a hill of beans when you don't need it.

My carpets now look great, and smell great, too. Today, I had Dave and Josh come clean my carpets, and they look sooooo much better than before they arrived. I have lived in my apartment for 4 years now, and with the exception of my own carpet shampoo machine, they have not really been cleaned, and definitely not professionally. Until today. One of my biggest concerns was a couple lines of rust from the frame of my 15+ year old sofa, but when these guys came in, they worked their magic, and "Rust! Be gone!" Not only that, but once they got set up and started, they were done before I even realized it. So with that said, the work was really quick, and extremely efficient! I will definitely call these guys again, just much sooner than 4 years down the road...

When the technicians arrived and went over everything...then came the price....WOW! I was in sticker shock, I asked if he needed my coupons for the service and he didn’t. Then it came to them beginning the service.. they didn’t have the proper tools or equipment to start. My husband had to find them tools and a ladder for the vents to be done. Not prepared at all. I asked them for an additional discount for them using my things, I didn’t even get a response back. Basically, I let them finish, I paid for the service and I said thanks. This is my first time calling a carpet cleaning company and I researched the best ones in the Jacksonville area and I'm so glad I went with Precision Cleaning. Andrew and Kenny came to my house very promptly (same day I called). They thoroughly assessed the problem spots and what areas needed to be cleaned. Dishonest bait and switch to get their salesmen into your home and sell you something you don’t want. I called after seeing an ad in a local circular that stated a certain price around 50 bucks for so many rooms. After making my appointment, two reps came to my house and quoted me for a little over $500. I was taken by surprise and declined. After some back and forth, he asked me if I “really expected to only pay 50 dollars.” I pulled out the ad and he says “yeah yeah, I know what the ad says but it doesn’t work like that” so I asked him to leave. He said he wanted to clean some of the carpets because he said I wouldn’t ever call again if they left without doing anything. In the end, he did only my hallway and living for twice as much as I was expecting to pay in the first place. Needless to say, I will not be calling precision carpets to clean for me in the future.

Check out the Better Business Bureau website before calling this company! I wish we would have done that first. I had to give a one star rating since zero was not an option. We called them and scheduled an appointment based on their ad in Mint magazine. Basically it's bait and switch. They advertise a low rate to get appointments. Then when they show up, it's "well we have to add $$$ for extraction and $$$ for soiled areas." They even go to the car sales tactic of "let me call my manager to see what we can do for you." In the end, the "best" they could do was hundreds above the advertised rate, so we declined their service. No money lost, but a complete waste of time. Note to carpet technicians on their sales pitch - It's highly difficult for a dog to cause "pet stains" in a closed off room she's not allowed to enter.

Ken worked hard on cleaning my sectional. I'm still waiting for it to dry but I'm sure it will look great. I did have to go through the traditional haggling routine of getting quoted 69.95 on the phone to then get an onsite price quote of $450.00. Then with a call to the owner we settled at $200 which is what I expected to pay. I just wish these carpet companies would be honest and upfront with prices so we didn't have to go through that silly routine every time to get a fair price. I would still recommend this company b/c the work was good and the price I paid was fair just be prepared to negotiate.

We had a very serious and longstanding issue with our plush smart strand wall to wall carpet....cream colored with terrible pet stains. We'd tried three different companies and were basically sick of throwing away money to have the stains come back every single time. We were just about to pull it all up and put in hardwoods when I saw an ad for Precision Carpet. It had been over a year since we'd had it cleaned and I couldn't stand looking at it another minute. I thought before we tear it up lets try one more company. Dave and Josh came over very quickly and worked with us to get it right .It did take more than one visit, trying different ideas to get it done and that was OK with me. Dave even researched our specific type of problem with an old timer in the business to see if there was anything else that could be done. We were impressed with that. Let me tell you our carpet looks SO much better. We're no longer embarrassed to have people over. This business is family owned and they always answer the phone and come right over. Even open on weekends. Try them out.....you won't regret it!

Dave and Josh called in advance and arrived at the time they had estimated. They checked the carpeting in all three rooms and the two area rugs with blue light for pet stains which my dog left a few hours before I had to have her put down. Dave gave me a detailed quote in advance which I accepted. While Josh was cleaning the carpeting in the three rooms (two bedrooms and a den), Dave also gave me a quote for tile and grout cleaning and for upholstered furniture cleaning. I will have both done in April or May. My carpeting and area rugs look immaculate. Both Dave and Josh, Dave's assistant, were very friendly and courteous. I am looking forward to their return to complete my spring cleaning.

So I read all the 1 star review and my experience has been similar to these other customers or potential one that turned the job away. We had this company come out after being quoted $34 carpet cleaning for 3 rooms. The carpet in the rooms were well kept. No staining or urine smell. One of the techs unaware that I've been working at that property for a month, tried to convince me that the rooms smell like urine and they had to do a special cleaning running at $350 total. Ince we declined the service and asked him to leave, one of the techs who smelled of alcohol, continued to persuade us to purchase the service. We declined the service once again, that's when the tech tried to bill us for a estimate claiming that since they didnt get the job, they have to bill $25 for the estimate. We said yeah right, lol. Get off the property or we will call the cops! They left shortly after. This company is false advertising, manipulating customs by creating a reason to up charge you at the door. By the way we had 3 other companies come out and never smell and urine or spot any deep stains at half their price

Beware of being quoted one starting rate on the phone for carpet repair and have it doubled when tech arrives. Company wanted $125 for making one 30" seam in the carpet in a doorway. Tech did "call manager Ryan" to see if he'd budge on pricing and they did offer to do it for $100 which is still quite high. No issue paying a little more than quoted, but defiantly not double. Ended up having to tell the tech to leave.
