Also my cleaning was scheduled quickly--they came to house evaluated everything that needed to be done and completed the job all at the same visit--no further scheduling. This is a great company. They did an excellent job on our carpet and upholstery. Lee and Jessie are knowledgeable and professional, as well as very personable. This is the 2nd time we've had them out to clean our carpets. The first time, our dog had had an accident in the hall way, they tested for moisture in the pad, and then cleaned the carpet. However, when the weather turned humid, the smell returned, I called and they were out the next day, took care of the problem, and no more odor! This time, there were heavy grease marks on the carpet, compliments of my son the mechanic, and they treated the grease, and it is gone. My carpet is only 2 years old, but I plan to have them out at least yearly to keep it looking beautiful.

I was in process of purchasing a house, when we found mold in basement floor joists. We had Jim come in and do some testing on the joists surfaces and the air on each level. The lab results indicated we had to abate before would could live there. Post closing, Jim and his team came in and practically sterilized the place! It smells incredibly clean and the surface mold is gone. The post-treatment lab results were far better even than the outdoors! Jim was a pleasure to work with and I'd definitely use him again and recommend him to others. Plus, he's local and offers a 12 month warranty on his work!

Great communication; they arrived before they estimated that they would; didn't stop moving the whole time they were here; explained in detail what they were doing as they worked; were cautious about not dragging their hoses against corners, placing corner guards as they went; all-in-all an excellent experience. Now, taking into account that we are talking about thirty year old carpet, they got them as clean and bright as is possible. Some areas that were matted flat, old Berber carpet (especially the stairs), were fluffed up nicely. We understand it will settle again, but the carpets look good enough now to keep for the next few years. Their estimate was a little higher than some of the other services I interviewed, but the level of experience and knowledge apparent in a simple phone interview convinced me that these folks were the real deal. (Admittedly, I also looked into their reviews and what folks on Nextdoor Neighborhood were saying about them.) We are happy with the results. The carpet technicians, Lee and Brett were engaging and informative and as I mentioned above while never stopping their forward motion, they made the experience enjoyable, including a constant stream of jokes (Lee maybe missed his calling as a stand-up comic!) Thanks for a great job!

Pete and Jack were early and ready to go. I have them clean the carpets in two bedrooms, my basement and my dining room. Also cleaned my sofa. I was very please with how the carpets came out. One of the bedrooms carpet is over 20 years old and it came up pretty decent. I knew it wouldn't be perfect because it's my 18 year old son's room and he has made a mess of the carpet. But to my surprise, it looks 100% better. I have used squeaky clean to clean my tile floors in the past and that came out very nice as well. I highly recommend the service! Amazing! Awesome!! Holy Cow!!! First, some background…We move here 5 years ago. The second floor carpets are around 25 yrs. old & the family room carpet is at least 10 yrs. old. I’ve raised 2 teenagers, with all their spills and messes and have two greyhounds. I use a home “steam machine” to clean my carpets a few times a year. Even so, my carpets were dirty, dingy, matted, and smelly. With family coming from out of town for my son’s graduation, I knew it was time for professional help. After reading a lot of negative reviews about nationally known services, I checked out Angie’s List for a local vendor. Squeaky Clean and Dry (SQ&D) was the top rated carpet cleaner in my area and there wasn't a single negative review. So I submitted an online inquiry and about 10 minutes later I received a call and made an appointment for 2 days later. Pete & Lee arrived exactly on time. We looked at the rooms and discussed my needs, the services, and options. Lee broke down the pricing so I could determine exactly what I could get done within my budget. At no time did he pressure me to buy any additional services; he just outlined all the options, which was great. I hate when those other companies badger you to buy the extras and give you dire quality warnings when you turn them down. Once I had all the numbers, I decided to start with the two worst rooms which are the ones used most by us and the hounds, the family room and the master bedroom. Both had several spots and stains that had never come clean using my home machine, so I had no expectation they’d come completely out. I just hoped they’d be a little less noticeable. WOW! Was I wrong!!! The spots and stains have vanished! When they finished both rooms and I inspected the work, I was blown away! The carpets look amazing, even better than when we first moved into the house. They had moved all the furniture, which were now resting on protectors. The carpets were so clean, that when I moved a few pieces of furniture around, I couldn’t tell the difference between the high and low traffic areas. Obviously, 20+ year old carpets will never look like new again, but they truly look and smell fabulous now. I was so impressed, I contacted my hubby who OK’d increasing the budget a little so I was able to have them do two more rooms and clean my hubby’s favorite recliner, which is also my female hound’s favorite ‘bed’ when we are not home. Once done, the carpets felt only slightly damp; it’s obvious their equipment sucked up most of the water and with it, a ton of dirt. I’m confident, with a few fans set up, the carpets will be dry by tonight. The technicians, Lee and Pete were great! They were polite, professional, friendly, and they were VERY thorough. Lee also had a repertoire of family friendly jokes and riddles he fired off whenever my son or I came into the room where he was working. He had us laughing all morning. So not only are my carpets clean, but the house already smells better, and my son and I had a very pleasant morning filled with laughter and smiles. The next time I contact SC&D…and I will be calling on them again… I’ll ask for Lee and Pete! If you have children who will be at home when SC&D come to clean your carpets, ask for Lee and Pete, they are the best! If you are thinking about getting carpets or furniture cleaned, do not waste your time or money contacting one of the nationally known cleaners (and their bogus $99 deal), call Squeaky Clean and Dry instead. You’ll be glad you did. You’ll receive prompt, professional, polite service from initial call to end of service. SC&D may cost a bit more, but it is worth every penny. You’ll have amazingly clean, fresh smelling carpets, the peace of mind of knowing the job was done right, and if Lee and Pete provide the services, a good dose of laughter too. I am truly amazed; my sort-of-white sofa that hadn't been cleaned in 30 years is now bright white, and I'm in love with it again. Not only were Lee and Pete experts, explaining everything that they were about to do, they were fun and hard-working gentlemen. My puppy loved them, too. As Pete worked on the sofa, showing me the drastic difference between grungy and white as he cleaned, Lee managed to clean a patch of carpet upstairs without having the surrounding carpet look dirty. They used a citrus-based, safe, natural solution that smelled great and wasn't harmful for me or my pup. After drying overnight, the sofa even looked better. I cannot recommend Jim enough. He was the 3rd mold remediation contractor to visit my house and give me a quote. The other 2 contractors were there for all of 5 minutes. Jim spent an hour with me and walking through basement finding additional areas of black mold. That really showed me that he has a passion and care for the work that he does. The entire clean up took 2 days but the finished product speaks for itself. All of the wood in the basement was cleaned and I couldn't believe how new the wood looks. The basement also had a crawlspace where most of the mold was (shown in the picture). Jim cleaned and cleared all of that as well as installing a vapor barrier. The barrier is so well installed that when PECO was doing an energy audit, the blower door was lifting the vapor barrier since it was so well sealed! The contractor could not believe that and instantly asked for Jim's information since he was so impressed with the quality of work. Jim thank you again for all of the work. wow! i couldn’t be more pleased. these guys are so thorough and professional, and the products they use are super. i had already vacuumed, but then they vacuumed and got up so much more dirt. then followed by several steps of cleaning. we have wall to wall carpet on the floors and on the stairs done, as well as a very good oriental rug and 2 smaller rugs. they used different product and method for the rug vs the carpet. everything looks like new. also, they carefully moved furniture and put it back exactly where i wanted it. this will be my carpet cleaner from now on.

Mold removal, Jim and his team came to inspect our house. We had my plumber over and he was doing work in our house...he asked if we have a mold problem? I was kinda of shocked to hear him ask that. I said, “why?” He said because every time he worked in our house his nose ran and eyes watered. He told me that he was very allergic to mold. I called Squeaky clean knowing nothing about this process, I was anxious as well. Jim was very knowledgeable, not salesy at all! He told me everything I needed to know about mold and how it effects my family, because it had effected his family years ago, that’s why he got into the business. He did a mold test first, then removal. It was an expensive process but worth every penny! We did the mold remediation where we left our house for 24 hrs. He cleaned our rafters in our basement and set up his mold removal kit throughout our house. We came back home 24hrs later the house smelled squeaky clean, I kinda of like it, like a soft swimming pool smell. Few days later the smell went away. From the very first interaction I had with Jim and Lee, to just now when Lee left, I've had nothing but positive experiences - from the amazing job they did on our floors (both times) to the friendly, informative, honest and even fun (ask Lee about his 'dad jokes') customer service they provide. For the first job, we tried everything to remove the pet smell from our floor, including working with other reputable carpet cleaning companies. Nothing worked...until Squeaky Clean came out. They prevented us from replacing relatively new carpet and padding, literally saving us thousands. For the job that I just had completed today, we had adopted a new puppy and as puppies do, she had some accidents and a good cleaning was in order. I didn't even bother calling anyone else; I called the guys first. Thank goodness they come out here to Oxford, PA! Just like the first time, my floors look and smell fantastic, for an *incredibly* reasonable price. Needless to say, I see no reason to ever work with anyone else for this service. My husband had used Nature's Miracle for the last year trying to get the smell out of the fabric with no luck. We had a great experience with Jim, Lee and Jesse. Jim was professional and responsive on the phone. He answered questions in detail and clearly. Lee who came to our home to access the job and give the quote, worked efficiently as measuring the rooms and describing the processes. He also is a master of imitating birds and telling corny jokes. Jesse assisted Lee on the day of the work. The smells in the wall-to-wall carpets that were the biggest issue, were mitigated completely. The carpets were indeed nearly dry as advertised, and by the evening were completely dry. By the way, the work was done in August, and while not a rainy day, still pretty humid out. They made sure to call and let me know what time they would be arriving, and as soon as they got here, they took their time and went through every area of our home with a fine tooth comb. I am so extremely grateful that they were able to make the time for us, as our settlement date was switched on more than one occasion, which meant having to call Jim (the owner), and apologize for having to reschedule said appointment - again.
