If you only want grass cut, it might be okay, but if you want plants transplanted, your gardens weeded, and your existing professionally installed landscape plant materials left in tact, don't hire Schaub. He let his girlfriend do work she was not apparently mentally or physically or emotionally fit to perform. She pulled what she should not have pulled, and didn't effectively pull what she should have pulled, leaving weeds or ignoring weeds. She did not know her plants and thought anything with a vine was ivy. She pulled a three year old clematis off of a metal trellis! I cried when I saw the devastation. She was lazy, deciding to pour weed killer on two patches of grass instead of plucking the weeds...resulting in two dead patches of grass. And when I spoke to her about it she gave me lip and threatened to walk off the job. When I spoke to Mike, the owner, about it, he agreed it was bad and said he should have become involved sooner, and then he did not become involved. He allowed her to come back and she told me --in a very defiant tone--that he had said nothing to her about problems. Although he charges as if he is a professional landscaper, he is not and he allows his girlfriend to have a bad attitude towards customers that match her bad gardening skills. Oh, and she brings family members along on the job. Not cool!
