I just moved back to Chadds ford and I'm so glad A Step Above is still in business and still doing a bang up job! I like that they use their own equipment and cleaning supplies. I commute for work and am busy all day Mon-Fri. I love the hassle free service they give: I call once set them up and NEVER have to talk to them again. No offense but I just want to pay and get my house clean. Keep doing a great job a Step Above!

Rosie is a fabulous worker and most of the time the person with her does a good job too...The management is short, curt and they need to step up their customer service game. As mentioned, I like the crew that cleans my house bi-weekly but if I could keep them and get rid of the management there, I would! As your name indicates, A Step Above, so should your in-house customer service.

I've used the service for a couple of months and I've always had problems. Sometimes they skip one of the bedrooms. Sometimes they "forget" to mop the kitchen floor. Each time we've called to explain AGAIN what we need done and each time they acknowledge that it will be done 'next time'. We finally decided to cancel the service after the second bedroom was not cleaned again. We got an attitude from the manager who then blamed us for our issues. OK. We will happily take our business elsewhere.

This is the worst cleaning company I've ever experienced. The ladies that cleaned were pleasant and friendly, but the cleaning was poor and they were like bulls in a china closet. I had to keep checking their work and would find things that weren't cleaned correctly and I would tell them and they just wanted to rush out the door. If they needed more time to do the cleaning correctly I would've gladly paid more money to have the job properly completed. After they left I realized that they broke my upstairs toilet seat, which I now have to spend time and money on replacing. The seat itself is $40.00+ and the manager Michelle said she would take $15 off my next cleaning...like I would ever have have them back in my house. How does she think giving me $15.00 compensates for the replacement of $40.00+ and my time. She had a very bad attitude and extremely poor response to remedy a simple situation. They advertise their first cleaning as a Deep Cleaning service...I don't think they even understand what that terminology means. They didn't even use a mop to mop the tile floors. Their idea of mopping is a squirt bottle and a Swiffer and the manager told me that's their protocol for cleaning...unbelievable, that's not even cleaning, that's what you do between cleanings. The ceiling fans were half cleaned because they obviously couldn't reach them and didn't bring or ask me for a stool or ladder. I could list so many other things that were just not cleaned thoroughly and properly, but the main issue was really the fact that they broke something in my house and the manager refused to fully compensate me for the replacement of the broken item. DO NOT use this company...they lack integrity.

Most people tidy up a bit before the cleaners come, so that is what I did to get ready for A Step Above to deep clean my house. However, immediately AFTER the cleaners left, I found myself wiping down the bathroom and dusting my living room. Who wants to do that after paying professionals to do it?! That is when I decided to call and cancel the next two appointments I had already scheduled with them.

Just got this as a gift for my wife and she absolutely loved it. We have two beautiful but very hairy golden retrievers. We didnt see hairs on our bedroom carpet or the living room one. We're enrolling on the weekly cleaning, they gave us a price we couldnt refuse.

I have been a customer for a couple of months with weekly service. Initial cleaning was great, but the crew has no showed and not contacted us to let us know twice in a month. It is really frustrating that there is no ability to communicate with the company when arriving home from work to a dirty house and no message. They are probably fine for occasional use, but are failing as a regular service!

Terrible!!!! Cleaning was fine. Management seems to be a hor mess. Workers would complain about mgmt. When I postponed cleaning from one week until the following. Thurs Received a reminder call that the cleaners would arrive on Fri. Fri no one showed. When I called they told me I canceled the cleaning. This happened TWICE. Instead of trying appease the customer and get someone out to the house they told me I was wrong. (After THEY called me the day prior to confirm cleaning!!!) Never again!

As students, we don't clean. Getting ready to show the house for next years tenants, we decided on A Step Above to clean the house. We told them it was a mess, and they didn't flinch when they saw how serious we were. It was very easy to talk to them and show them the areas that needed to be disinfected. For the way our house looked the price was very fair. The place smells great, the women were extremely thorough, and we couldn't be more pleased with the way our house looks. Definitely worth it to hire A Step Above.

My time is consumed by everything other than cleaning. I tidy up my room, but decided I had to call in a service. I contact A Step Above Cleaning and I’ll be sticking with them from now on. They were available right away and arrived on time. When I came back after they were finished, I walked into a completely new house. Dust disappeared, dirt died out, and the carpet stains were no more. Very pleased with everything they did and how fresh my house smells. Kudos.

ASA comes while I work and I get home to a neat clean home. They are always spot on with their cleaning and careful in my home (I collect Lladrós). For some time now, A Step Above House Cleaning has been cleaning my company's office. They are always prompt, definitely on time, and professional. With some cleaning companies, you are weary about what they do when you leave the office without your computer and other hardware that is expensive and left out for the eye to see. Every time that they have cleaned my office, as well as other offices in our building, nothing has been out of place, nor has anything disappeared. I am definitely happy they are here to clean, especially because that is not something I (or it seems anyone else wants to do) while at work, lol. All I can say is, thank god for cleaning companies in general.

The absolute worst! I have been using them for a few years. I never found the cleanings to be very good, but I didn't want to bother looking for someone new (they don't lift objects on counter tops, don't use use the vacuum hose to clean the perimeter, and I have even had to reclean mirrors) but hey, I didn't have to clean the bathrooms. A few weeks ago I called to ensure I was the first cleaning the following day because I have an infant son and dog I wanted to get out of the house while they cleaned. I came back at 11:30, still not done. They assured me that they would be there at 4. They never showed up!! And I wasted a whole day trying to keep everyone out of the house! We had our son's baptism party at our house that weekend and did not allot time to clean (especially with an infant). I called and left messages. They did not call me back for almost 2 weeks to even apologize! I waited to write this review to see if they would rectify the problem, but they just gave me a 'song and dance' sob story. I would highly recommend you finding ANY other cleaning service.

I received a flyer in the mail from A Step Above Cleaning. I decided to give them a try as I wasn't pleased with the cleaning service I was using. Someone came out from their offices and gave me an estimate that I found fair considering I have a large 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom with a living room, dining room, and recreation room. The girls that came out did a fantastic job removing dirt, dinge, and grime. They paid attention to the floor boards, polishing the glass, and wood. They were punctual and very thorough. The consistency of their work has remained the same, if not gotten better as they have gotten familiar with my house because I have them out every week. I will continue to use A Step Above and I recommend it to anyone who wants to get the most bang for their buck from a cleaning service.

Cleaners did not show up a day we were scheduled for cleaning. When called owner, she never apologized, and did not seem to care at all that we had prepped a house for cleaning, waited around for cleaners that never came. She said she would call back after she talked to cleaners, she never called back. NEVER USING AGAIN!

You can say I'm a avid spice collector. I just love to see those tiny bottles of magical options. So when A Step Above came in to inspect and give me a quote I told them how precious is my spice rack. Then they came in moved everything, cleaned it and put it back the way it was. I was amazed. Best decision to choose them.

We used their service for almost 3 months. The marketing brochure said we would have the same crew for each cleaning; that never happened once! The cleaning was good but could have been better. It seemed like they were more in a hurry to move in to the next job and didn't really put their hearts into their work. All of the girls had "facial hardware", meaning pierced eyebrows, noses, lips or a combination thereof. This doesn't give a professional appearance. The final straw came when a capsule of Percocet pills came up missing (I had just had foot surgery). It was put in the nightstand drawer on Tues night as the cleaning crew was coming on Weds. but it was gone Thurs morning. I called the office (Warrington) and spoke with someone who was quite concerned and understanding. When I later spoke with a manager, she seemd to care less and said we would have to file a police report if we wanted them to investigate their employees. If you use this company, lock your vaulables and don't leave any medications, especially narcotics, where they might easily be found even though they are not in plain sight.

I liked only 1 crew that the company sent and that was Amanda. All the others were awful. If I wanted a swifter cleaning I would do it myself. Last cleaning I had was so bad I decided to cancel. Got tired of calling and complaining. Skip this company, not worth it.
