So far, my house has only undergone the initial (thorough) cleaning but I was so impressed, I felt the need to write a review. The team (Jodi, Ana, Natasha and Maria) were professional, thorough and personable. I stayed during the cleaning and they were very friendly towards me, my kids and pets. And with kids and pets, I’m sure it goes without saying that my place was a mess. The end result was amazing. I’m looking forward to continuing this service and I hope to see the same team.

We've been customers of TCA West Hartford for about a year and are happy with the service. Staff is nice and doing a good job, the owner Raj was very agreeable when we needed to report / cancel a cleaning. Today's team (Gloria, Natasha & Layuandra) just left and did a great job!

I used TCA service for about 6 months and the quality of the cleanings are good once your cleaning crew understands your (the homeowner's) needs. In the beginning, I was a little disappointed because there would be things that were not up to my expectations; but I communicated that to Raj and he made sure that the situation was resolved the next time the cleaners came. Pam was fantastic. I was never disappointed when she was at my house. I had to stop the service in December but I would use it again in the future.

We have had nothing but positive experiences with TCA. Gloria's work is consistently thorough and professional, and today for the first time we had Natasha and Layuandra here, who did an excellent job as well. Both my husband and I work from home, so we are here during all of our cleans. All parties are respectful of each other in this situation. Bottom line: My home is respected and clean, and I see friendly faces every two weeks.

Cleaning service is definitely a luxury that at times I feel guilty indulging in given I work from home. But then the team comes and I am reminded what I do and what they do is on a another plane. Today, Jodi, Hector and Nakia were at my home. From arrival, they were focused, diligent and meticulous. They demonstrated great team work as they split tasks and moved with precision throughout the house. I barely noticed they were here. The place looks like its been staged for an open house. Thank you for giving immense professionalism to what you do. I will particularly enjoy my home for these next few days before that "lived in" look returns.

As a former employee, I recommend staying away. Background checks are most definitely not done seeing as I, and many others were hired in no amount of time. Maybe other locations are different since they’re owned by different people...I know of a person who (probably) still works there with a criminal record. Yet they’re all blindly given access to keys and alarm codes. Does that sound safe to you? People will also snoop through your things and talk about how disgusting you are if you aren’t clean. And yes, it will happen even if you’re home. My opinion? Just clean your own house or privately hire people. I don’t advise you support a corrupt business. Your money is mainly going to the owners pocket and not the people providing you with a clean home. Checks never added up and were never corrected even when confronted. Though not minimum wage, you end up earning less than a minimum wage job. Don’t support modern slavery. There is no ethicacy.

We started our service with Nicole as our cleaning team leader and were very pleased. When I heard from Raj that she was going to be promoted I was not surprised. He's a good businessman, and good businessmen recognize and reward good employees, which makes for a successful business. I admit that I was concerned about a possible decline in the quality of service that we would receive without Nicole on the job. Raj was sensitive to my concerns and assured me that we would not be disappointed with the new team. With absolutely NO disrespect to Nicole, after the first cleaning by the team of Hector and Nakia, the house looked better than it has ever looked in the almost twenty years that we've been here! I have no idea how they did it because I wasn't watching. When speaking with them before and after, I found them to be friendly, polite and professional. The complaint that I do have is that once things have been cleaned this thoroughly, ALL of the imperfections show up - small chips in the ceramic tile, cat scratches on the leather furniture, cracks in the oak cabinets, etc. However, I am just going to continue to be appreciative and to accept that every silver lining may have a cloud... I rarely post reviews, and I have never returned to comment for a second time, but after seeing some of the ridiculous accusations being made (I believe by disgruntled former employees, rather than by folks actually using TCA WH's services), I am taking the time to do so. If an owner treats employees poorly, they are not likely to do an excellent job, and it is unlikely that the business will grow. This business is growing in both the number of houses being cleaned and new employees being hired, which does not surprise me since every cleaner that I've spoken to has nothing but positive things to say about how Raj treats them. Last week not only did Hector and Nakia again leave the place spotless, but they solved an ongoing problem that we had been having with our toilets. I mention this because Hector had made the effort on his own time (without receiving his hourly pay) to find us a solution. Employees who are very unhappy and feel that they are being abused/mistreated are not motivated to think about their work "off the clock" like he did. And as far as Raj allegedly employing criminals, they must be the most incompetent criminals around, since I regularly leave my good jewelry, cash, and credit cards lying around, and I have not yet found a single thing to be missing or disturbed. Finally, owners and employees are human, and humans make mistakes. Occasionally a task may be completely missed or not done as well as it should have been. What makes a successful business team stand out as Quality-driven is the response to hearing that a customer's expectations have not been met. There haven't been many, (which is surprising since I am often considered a difficult customer), but any time that I have commented on something done less than perfectly, Raj has immediately offered to send someone back to the house; the employees involved took personal responsibility and apologized the next time that I saw them. I have some experience in making complaints to service providers, and I have never gotten a more positive response. Actually, I only provide regular feedback (positive or negative) and don't think that anything has ever gone to level of a "complaint", but the matters have been addressed nonetheless. I won't waste my time looking, but I don't think that any area competitor of The Cleaning Authority West Hartford comes close to providing the level of services received for the prices being paid...

Then Hector and Nakia came out and they have done a fantastic job at the house. I'm always so happy when I come home and see that those two have been at the house because then I know there will be "no stone unturned". We retained The Cleaning Authority for one deep cleaning. My house was spick and span when I came back in the evening. My husband who barely notices anything made a comment about everything being in place and the refrigerator shining. On top, Ana left a nice note which made me feel like they cared. I am thinking of changing my regular cleaning personnel. Thanks TCA.
