Vicky, Ely, and Allison (Team 8) always do a great job with our house. They are very careful with my fragile items, thorough with their cleaning, and always happy to pay special attention to different areas. For example, our kitchen floor always needs a couple of cleanings; they make sure it looks great. When we are having guests for a party or for overnight, they make sure that area sparkles! They are always prompt and very pleasant! Molly Maid has been quite flexible in changing the schedule when I ask- this is so important to me!

If I can give more than 5 stars I would! I had Ann and Cheryl in my home for the first time. What they did was unbelievable! I have 3 children and the little details that go into a clean house often get missed. Ann and Cheryl did NOT miss it! They cleaned top to bottom and places I never thought of cleaning. My home feels fresh without the smell of chemicals. Best of all, the hours I spend every week cleaning will now be family time (which we all know is limited with our busy lives). Team 8 happily went the extra mile at my place. House was bigger than anticipated by the estimator and I'm a stickler for detail. A 3 hour estimate turned in to a 5.5 hour cleaning. They were tired but kept on trucking and the place was immaculate when they left. I've had other services try to clean my house but was not satisfied. Initially when I placed my reservation for cleaning the staff informed me of a scheduled time and arrival. I then accommodated my schedule to be there to meet the staff. After doing so, I received a call 30 min after the due arrival from Anita, saying the staff wouldn’t be there till 2-230. That the staff was coming from north haven and hit traffic. (Little did Anita know, I had just come from north haven and there was no traffic) I was a little irritated, but understood things happen, so, I said, not a problem but I cannot be here, I’ll leave the door open. Again at 230, I received another call from Anita, saying the staff would not arrive till 4pm due to traffic coming from north haven. I let Anita know that I was just in the area and there was no traffic that she should really be monitoring her staff, for that was the second time for the apt to be pushed. My husband and I showed up to the location being cleaned at 5pm and the staff was just sitting in their cars. I was confused, Karen had just called me and said they needed extra time at, 4pm cause the place needed extra elbow grease. I was under the assumption that, that’s when they arrived. I stopped Vicky before she left and double checked her arrival and let her know I’d be checking w the office staff to confirm, because all the other calls I had received from Anita and Karen were implying different. Karen then showed back up at the property and began yelling profusely at myself and my husband acusing me for disregarding her position, flaunting her masters degree and saying she knows all about us ‘Cheshire people’ cause that’s where she grew up. In disgust we told her the job was completed, but she continued to tell us how filthy our apt was before we moved and how it didn’t look like it had been cleaned in ages. My husband and I took care of that apt, and yes there was some soap scum, but the house was not trashed. Our landlords showed up to the property around 6pm and spoke w the neighbor who confirmed the arrival time, but also the neighbor confirmed that the girls were messing around in the car before they went in. And when they went in to clean they were loud and disruptive. Honestly, for them to take 2.5 acclaimed hours to clean a 650 sq ft apt and charge me 231$ for it, is theft. The apt was still dirty. There was still food grime in the stove, a shelf in the fridge was broken, soap scum was still amongst the shower, the heat vents were never cleaned, there was still feathers and debris on the carpet, the tile looked like it was never mopped, the baseboards were still dusty, the window sills were barely cleaned and the bathroom looked like it was barely touched. I am disgusted with this service and for the professionalism of this company. How they still operate and do business is beside me. Oh let me add, i called into the office that following Monday to speak with a manger.. all I could be told is the owner is on vacation and will return next week.. I’m going on ten days with no response. I will never hire this company again and will never recommend them. I lost a portion of my security deposit for their half-ass cleaning job.

Don't waste your hard earned money on this company! They showed up...charged us 4.5 hours of service and DIDN'T finish the job.... Never moved the couches to vacuum underneath, never cleaned the kitchen thoroughly like the faucets, front of microwave, never moved the microwave to clean the countertop, asked them to re-mop the kitchen floor because they missed two areas... never dusted the living room, our finished basement wasn't dusted, or mopped. Two of their supervisors showed up 25 minutes into their service and one of them reeked of marijuana! Not professional and quite disturbing. Spoke with the owner about this and he suggested that he resend the original 2 cleaners back to finish the job....ummmm….NO THANK YOU! Keep in mind that this was our FIRST INITIAL cleaning....left a very bad taste in our mouths....call a local housecleaner instead...you will get more for your money with less hassle and you will have more money in your pocket!

My family hired Molly Maid to clean our home, being a business owner myself i found that it was very rude of Kathy and Lisa to try and acquire our business. the talker was Lisa. she told my wife and i that the company was trash and they would be willing to clean our home at a much cheaper rate than what Molly Maid was charging. I found this behavior unethical and very inappropriate! Owner be very aware there has have to be others that they have tried and acquire business from. Employees like those don't deserve a future in your company!

We are a military family that just moved to Gales Ferry CT and brought a house. While waiting on closing we decided to get our house cleaned to be move in ready. I google searched Connecticut maid service and Molly Maids had 5 stars so I thought wow they must be good. I called and set up a cleaning date. The price for a 4 bedroom house 2000 square feet was $250-$350 to clean top to bottom. Great price quote. The crew of two lovely ladies showed up in a timely manner and were very kind and polite. After they cleaned for 2 hours I returned to a house that smelled like bleach and lemon; nice right. The final cleaning price was $232. I started to look at their work after they left and realize I got what I paid for. They missed so much stuff. About 40% of the house was cleaned. I called the manager and he sent out another maids that took 1hour and 50 minute to clean what the first crew missed. She showed up 7 o'clock at night to clean, cleaned about 20% more on top of their 40%. She said it was to late and dark to see and clean the back 3 rooms in my house. she left behind cleaning supplies, a vacuum part, and there's no evidence to really prove this but she left a # 2 in our toilet. Now I'm left to clean the left over 40%. This wasn't a good experience to be honest and I won't be calling them back.

Molly Maid always shows up on time, are very polite but also professional and they do a great job. I can feel satisfied that our house is going to be cleaned and taken care of. The staff is like an extension of my family and it is always a pleasure to see them each time they come around.
