I called and set up an appointment after my mother died so we could move into her house...The day before the appointment a guy came out to do a quote which I approved even though it was way to high in my opinion...the next day the 2 girls show up 15 min late then bring their stuff just inside my front door I showed them around and showed them what I wanted done...I then left them to start in a room while I continued going through another one (I had planned this to be a multiple visit project doing a few rooms at a time)...I did not hear any noises so I went to investigate...I find the girls had put away their stuff and were in the process of pulling off! When I went to see what was going on one of the girls said that the office would contact me...I called the office and was informed that due to a few dead roaches (I had fumigated the house the night before) that their girls could not do the job because it was "against OSHA regulations to sweep up a dead roach"....so in closing UNLESS you need to be overcharged for a little light dusting do not call Merry Maids!

The work was excellent. I had a bathroom occupied for 6 college students for 2 years that had obviously never been cleaned once. The same goes for the stove and all kitchen appliances. After they were done both rooms looked brand new. Thank you for excellent work. I will definitely recommend your service to my friends and will use you again.

HORRIBLE cleaners! This place should be shut down. I hired three cleaners for my new house and not only did they not speak a word of English, but they tried to walk off with my puppy!! I held one of them until the police arrived but all they did was issue her a warning because of a language barrier. The owner of this branch, Mark, calls and threatens me. I have hired a lawyer and will be pursuing criminal charges against this place.

DO NOT BOOK MERRY MAIDS! For a "deep clean" of my 2-BR, 1-bath house on July 27, 2017, I was billed a grand total of $486.28! That's right - apparently it took 2 people 3.5+ hours to clean a less-than-1,200 square foot house that was already in tidy and livable condition! Despite three calls immediately following the billing because I thought they had surely made an error, I was issued no sort of reimbursement or offer to remedy the situation in any way. I officially consider myself robbed.

Inconsistent cleaning. They told us to let us know and they would tell us clean next time (never happened). Also, overpriced. Left many spots untouched. Each time there was a new cleaner (reducing likelihood of accountability). We didn’t know what time they were coming until the day before. Sometimes they would confirm. Other times just show up unannounced (once while I was getting dressed for work.) Other times, they wouls arrive late and leave early. This was not reflected in billing, so we were overcharged regularly. Worst of all is that our home iPad (that never ever leaves home) was stolen and they never denied it. Claimed they would follow up and never did. We were encouraged to file a police report without any restitution whatsoever. They were terminated. I hope this review helps someone so they will not have to experience what we did.

We have a summer rental cottage. People select the cottage via photos. We depend on our guests finding the home exactly as the pictures portray it. We trust Merry Maids to clean and set up the cottage each week after our renters leave. The cleaners are reliable and thorough. Beforehand, they offer a reminder of the visit and ask about particular focus areas. While working, the cleaners will send pictures of possible problems or damage that needs to be repaired. If things are accidentally missed, they will return to satisfy the customer. We are completely satisfied with Merry Maid’s service.

Hired Merry Maids to thoroughly clean my enclosed balcony. Asked when I made the appointment, with Lorraine, whether they would be able to clean the grout, in particular, to its original color. Was given an "absolutely yes"! WRONG, HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! Even though the women (Kim and Emily) tried their best they did not have the proper equipment (products) to complete this task. With a verbal guarantee of grout that would be brought back to its original color as when installed, was the only reason I hired this company! I'm sure that was said to secure the job. If you want clean grout, stay away from this Merry Maids! Would never recommend this company for any type of cleaning as there are too many other cleaning companies out there looking for business!

worst cleaning service ever. we hired them to clean our house before moving in. They had to reschedule the appoint to after our move in date (so when all the boxes and furniture were then in the house) and didn't actually clean anything. Dust wast ill on the baseboards and windows, and house looked no different than before they started. We called them back to fix it, they sent the same cleaning person, who then brought a malfunctioning vacuum cleaner that spit dirt out ONTO the floor, and then left it like that. We then had them come back a third time to fix it, and they again did nothing, at which point they tried charging us as if they actually completed any of the jobs. We ended up hiring another cleaning company who did it right the first time, and then had to fight with Merry Maids and eventually pay them for services they didn't provide. I would have rather paid my 5 year old.

My boyfriend and I paid an outrageous amount for a "deep cleaning" and what we got was nothing close to a deep cleaning. Our living room was not touched, baseboards were not cleaned nor were the floors swept or mopped. When the manager was called ( I called ) she was very unprofessional. And would not even offer to take some money off the bill. I am completely in awe. She continued to tell me that our apartment was not cleanable in 3 hours. And it clearly is. In conclusion, I would not recommend them to anyone. If I had it my way I would not even give them 1 star.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Just terrible. Cleaning is sub par and they will charge you an arm and a leg. They nickel and dine everything and then will blame you for poor cleaning jobs. The cleaning ladies who work their are very nice and underpaid. The company takes most of the profit and charge you exorbitant rates for cleaning. I feel bad for them because they have a set amount of time to clean a house and they make them leave a home half cleaned if they run out of time. Don't waste your time and money. Do your research.

In the beginning, they have two people that do an awesome job come to your home, but after you signup...service is poor. My advice - go else where.

After interviewing many other companies we decided on MERRY MAIDS. WRONG CHOICE. I recieved a call the day before the crew was supposed to come to let me know the time. The time got changed.After the first cleaning the girls left and I had dirt in the corners of my windows and cobwebs hanging from the lights in the kitchen. Although it's rather pricey, Merry Maids gives you value for your money. They really do clean in the corners, under the beds, the bookshelves, behind the toilet and all those other pesky hard to get to places that is the reason we hire an expensive maid service rather than ones who only "tidy" and clean superficially. If there's anything that I'm not completely satisfied with, they will take care of it immediately if this is what I want, or on their next visit.
