Last night I spilled red nail polish on our light grey carpet. We called Blackburn as we have in the past when we had a cleaning problem The office was great. Jared and Pedro came today and did an excellent job. They put covers on their feet when they came in the house as to not dirty my floors, they were extremely polite, easy to talk to and did a great job removing the nail polish. I would highly recommend them.

Could not have been more disappointed with Blackburn Cleaners. I had heard good reviews from a few people so decided to schedule them for an apartment turnover cleaning and to have the carpets steam cleaned. When they showed up they said they were not prepared to clean, just steam clean the carpets. This was unacceptable as I had tenants moving in the next day. After an hour of calls back and forth they quoted me $1600 dollars to clean a 1500 sqft apartment and they stated it would take 6 people 6 hours each to clean. I had received multiple quotes between $200-400 previously, but decided to use Blackburn because they offer the steam cleaning. I had assumed their cleaning price would be in line with the quotes. We decided not to do the cleaning for that price and just go ahead with the carpet steam cleaning. When I showed up to clean, the carpets were soaked and there was standing water at the bottom of the stairs and at the entrance to the upstairs bathroom. My girlfriend and I were forced to clean the entire apartment ourselves which only took 2.5 hours. I called to cancel the carpet cleaning of another apartment and told the representative on the phone about all these issues. They confirmed the carpets should not have been wet and only offered their apology for a bad experience. I hope long term damage has not been done to the carpets and the moisture doesn’t lead to a mold problem. I will not be using Blackburn again and I hope other people have better experiences than I did. Update: I received a call the following day regarding the issues. They came to the apartment, verified 3 of the 5 carpets were still wet 24 hours later, and set up fans and dehumidifiers. They came back the next day to pick them up and clean the bottom landing of the stairs because it was not clean. I received a call from the owner who apologized and remedied the situation. I am glad they followed up, but don’t believe I will be using them in the future. I am still concerned about the long term impacts but was told they were only wet for 24 hours and there will be no long term issues.

I would definitely recommend them! The lead worker was a great professional. We talked through everything. The workers wore shoe covers, had furniture base protectors and corner covers so the hose would not damage any walls. They found out my couches could only be cleaned by hand. When they tried to do that they came to me to say they felt it wasn't working and took the couches off my estimate. I couldn't have been more pleased with the work done and the results! And I shopped around and their prices couldn't be beat!

Jared and Pedro did a fabulous job cleaning the garage. Power washed the floor, cleaned the carpet around the spa and washed down the walls. Wished I would have done this sooner. They were professional and courteous! Also cleaning two area rugs. I highly recommend Blackburn and would request Jared & Pedro for any future jobs.
