Buyer beware. VERY DISAPPOINTING CLEANING and VERY DISAPPOINTING CUSTOMER SERVICE. Based on the strong reviews here, we engaged this franchise to service our home. We moved to CS about a year ago and the cleaning lady (that we had in the home for the first year) - did a very thorough job, but had to stop working due to medical reasons- so we had to find a new solution. The quote I received from Maidpro seemed acceptable and we scheduled the first cleaning. Even though the original quote was for $121.00 for 3 hours- I was told the first clean would need to be for 4 hours and at a higher cost- I agreed. The time that the service was scheduled for was from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. The cleaning lady (M) came into the house at 12:55 and started to clean. She came across as very young and low energy. She left at 4:00pm -without letting me know she was leaving- but my adult sons, that were at the Kitchen table, both said she left at 4:00pm. I came downstairs at 4:15 and she was gone. Concerns- 1. On the work order M claimed that she worked from 12:45-4:30 that day. That is impossible because no one was home at 12:45 and she was scheduled for 1:00. We opened the door for her at 12:55 and she brought her equipment into the house. She left at 4:00pm and not 4:30pm per two witnesses. I know for a fact her car was gone at 4:15pm when I came down to see how things were going. 2. The quality of the work was disappointing. The kitchen counters were greasy- I took photos of the paper towels I used to check on the surfaces right after she completed the work in the kitchen. The baseboards were not clean (had a caked on piece of food) and there were crumbs on the window sill. The handles of the appliance were sticky (included the blender)- there were dishes in the sink and the sink was dirty (I was told dishes were only special request- and when I requested to do them= she said that needs to go through the office to see if there was enough time...)- Trash was not taken out- her excuse was that it was not completely full and she did not want to waste a bag... I left sheets to make one twin bed. The cleaning lady sat on my bed with her street clothes for about 15 minutes with a clean duvet cover on the floor (which had not been cleaned yet)- trying to figure out how to load a duvet into a duvet cover. These are a few examples of the not so professional quality of the cleaning. 3. As soon as I discovered the cleaning lady left early, I started to write a detailed email with supporting photos documenting my concerns to Maid pro. This email got sent at 4:49. The next day I received a call from the owner in which I reiterated my concerns. Turns out my credit card was charged already for FOUR hours of cleaning- when only 3 hours were completed. 4. the next day (today) the owner called again and said that since the work order said M was here for 3 hours and 45 minutes - he would credit me 15 minutes. I stated that it was only a three hour cleaning and he refused to credit the hour. So- not only did we receive a mediocre service- we are also being charged time that was falsified. What I learned was that if a Maidpro maid says on her time sheet that she spent more time at the site than she actually spent...you will be charged. My recommendation-if you work with this company- document everything- figure out a way to time stamp the entry and exit of the maid. While the company offered to send the cleaner back within 24 hours to remedy the poor service- I was not comfortable having someone in my home that clearly lied about her time, thereby putting a significant doubt on her overall integrity. I went over all the areas that were poorly handled and cleaned them myself. I wasted a lot of time on the phone with the owner trying to get him to see my perspective- and still the result is that I am being charge for a service I did not receive. That will be disputed with my credit card company as well. Owner responds with a shrug- saying he has different facts...really? Why would anyone make this up?

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. I am completely dissatisfied with Kevin, the owner. We set an appointment to have our grandmother's house cleaned after she moved out. We gave the code and instructions to the lock box on her door. We spent quite a while talking to Sandra and she assured us that it would be taken care of. Sandra did NOT talk to us about their "terms of service" or their very specific cancellation policy. We found out days later that the house was never cleaned because they "could not access the property". Even though the house wasn't cleaned, we were charged the full amount. When I reached out to the company Kevin was argumentative and unwilling to understand There was an AMAZING company Super Steam who made it into the house with the same instructions that SAME day. No problems. We also had a photographer and 17 showings that week without any incident. This company saw an opportunity to take advantage. The way Kevin, Sandra and this whole company handled this situation is ridiculous. The owner doesn't care about it's customers. Only the money. What a horrible company.

I must say that MaidPro has been a life saver for our family. MaidPro allows us to maintain our home clean while we live our very busy life with our 4 teenagers and full working schedules. Also, it helps me personally because of my back and hip problems I am unable to get into the nooks and crannies and they do amazing job at that. Our first cleaning was very good, although the next 2 were not up to par, MaidPro was always willing to work with us to ensure our cleaning is how we wanted. They sent their best worker Candace and she is absolutely amazing and very friendly, always working very hard and willing to do what is necessary with a smile on her face and her amazing friendliness takes away the awkwardness you may feel with someone cleaning your teenagers' messes. I would highly suggest MaidPro. They are there to help you live less stressful and more comfortable life in your home.
