The hiring process is very slow. time of interviews are at 9am they have you wait for an hour. And when you apply and you live in the north county area. Hr doesn't tell you they have another building off Jefferson on the 78 they would have you drive to the San Diego office to do the interviews. My experience with GMI is definitely unpleasant. I also did the application back in 2016 and yevett the HR lady did not inform me that I had to reapply and told me to show up to the interview in San Diego did the interview but then choose to reapply another time so I went home the following week did the interviews off Jefferson and that's where I had to wait for an hour long just to do the whole processing again.I don't believe they save anything from the previous interview I had done a week ago.

Terrible company to work for. They dont pay you for all hours worked; WAGE THEFT. Most of their guards SLEEP on duty, call out or sit in their cars. I left after a WEEK of working for them and left for a better company. Not to mention PAY IS TERRIBLE. Communication is TERRIBLE. And dispatch, TERRIBLE. Not ONE good thing to say about this company other than they had great uniforms provided and that isnt enough to keep me when they EASILY skimp on your Hours Worked. Avoid doing business with them, and avoid working for them. It will be waste of time as there are much better companies to work for !

Really bad company i had an interview there it was bad. They had my name wrong couldn't find my application and still made me do assessment test when i said i did it online. and the worst part their hiring post said be there early first come first serve i was the last one. Four people got hired when they were the last ones to come in. Besides they waste my time they didn't hired me having the experience.

Really bad Security company. Barely any hours/ shifts. Most sites are up north. Management is completely awful. I got a no call no show from a mistake the scheduler made. Erica is the worst. They didn't even own up to their mistakes and made excuses. I left early once I knew what I was dealing with lol.

Ive never had an issue with GMI i love the company and love working for them. Ive never been screwed over with my pay and everyones communicated with me very well. As long as you do your job, you'll get far with this company.
