I would rate in the negative range if Google would allow it. My family and I were almost ran off of the road by one the drivers in a company truck. A woman and a young child had to hurry out of the way of him as well. We turned our car around and followed the truck across the street to a gas station where we confronted him. He was extremely aggressive towards us, started screaming and when we voiced that we could report him and his truck number he told us to "go ahead" because he was "part owner" and it wouldn't do a damn thing to him. Absolutely disgusted that companies can employ people who drive and behave like this.

My pool needed major repairs, and these guys did it all! Called ASP. and within a couple of days, had a visit from Clint Rowley, the owner. Explained that my 12 yr old salt pool was getting away from me. Purchased a new salt system online, but needed help with a leaky pump, air in the system, and black mold slowly overtaking the pool. Clint advised best way to proceed. We replaced my sand filter, re-sealed the leaky pump, acid washed the pool, and he did the inline plumbing for my salt cell. All I had to do was the electrical hookup. Most of the physical work was done bySilas Partain. This guy is above and beyond. One look, and you can tell he's been doing this awhile. He worked quickly and efficently. When he left, every thing was cleaned up. Once the original work was done, there still seemed to be a little air generating in the system. Silas took apart all of the Jandy valves and lubricated each. one had even broken internally. He promptly replaced all the parts from a "spare" he had. That pretty much solved the leak problem. I don't do this often, so I don't know if these guys are the cheapest in town, but I do know you will get fast, efficient, quality work when you call them. Highly recommend!!!!

Unfortunately the pebbles were lighter than the color we have, it is uneven making it look like it is cracked, and the person who came out stole the brass water pressure fitting and hose with float on the end, no one has called me back so now I have to waist gas to go to the business, I'm also considering arbitration. If this happens to you get a lawyer right away, and my pool is foggy so I had it tested by Leslie pools, bought the chemicals they recommended and now I want my money back. Several weeks later, after his weekly visits, I took a sample of my pool water to Leslie's to see what it needed and the pool guy remarked with shock and awe, "Your pool water is perfect... your chlorine levels are absolutely spot on. Worst experience ever with the Pool Techs. Owner is very nice, seems reasonable and tried to be accommodating, but the techs even went to far as to change out a motor on one of 5 pumps I had and changed the WRONG ONE....THEN WANTED TO CHARGE ME FOR IT! They would say they were showing up, but didn't. Some times the tech was here for 10 mins. tops....and left. No real vacuuming or anything but throwing in some chemicals. I referred them out to some 4+ other clients, and they, also, had a bad experience. Owner ultimately fired the bad techs...but not before a lot of us had problems.

We contacted the owner about it and didn't receive as much as an apology. He said his guy was very busy and he would send him back out to clean the pool. We stopped using them because of their questionable business ethics. I definitely do not recommend this company and if you're currently using them, make sure they are actually servicing your pool and not just sending you past pictures.

My experience with this specific owner/company has bee quite unique in that it's been over a 5 year highly successful and productive run for me with a service company! The people that I have had the opportunity to deal with are aware of all my specific needs concerning my pool. They continue to be extremely efficient, informative and dedicated to making sure that my pool and it's equipment are kept to peak performances. I am so very pleased with how my pool is maintained. All of the equipment is regularly maintained; the water is always clear as a whislte and since I am home most of the time, I have also been able to observe the employees without their knowledge of my presence, thoroughly test the water, clean the pool sides and adjust the timer on my pool pump on their own! No shortcuts. I also allow them ingress and egress through a locked gate where they maintain a key too! The gate is always locked, just as requested and my canine family is always protected from escape because of this attention to detail that is the most important thing to me by any service oriented company that has regular access to my grounds without supervision by me personally. I rarely, give 5 star evaluations; but, in this case, I am certainly confident that my thoughts and comments are completely warranted and earned.

I use ASP as my pool cleaning/maintenance service and they are great and affordable for keeping my pool looking great. However, they exceeded my expectations when they helped me with 2 extra projects. I asked them to repair a custom fountain in my atrium. I called 2 other companies and they wouldn't touch it because it was a custom feature. ASP came out and evaluated the project and took it on. They took it apart, cleaned it, found the leaks and repaired it. They then replaced the lighting. It looks amazing!!! Next I asked them to put my pool lights and water features on a remote. Done within 1 week (they had to order parts). I was very happy to have it done!

Ben arrives early on the day of my weekly service, goes right to work and makes sure the pool skimmer baskets are clean, the chemicals are in balance, pool DE filter pressure is within acceptable limits, and sweeps down the pool to ensure our pool looks great and functions properly. It is without hesitation that I recommend ASP and specifically Ben; Ben is quality minded and his work product shows it. My wife and I were new home owners in the Mountain Bridge area in May 2018, with an in-ground pool that was showing signs of algae growth, sediment, and water chemistry issues. After contacting several pool maintenance companies, my wife and I decided to go with ASP on a weekly schedule. Thus far, this is one of the BEST decisions we have made. Jason K arrives every Thursday, is helpful and extremely sociable, obviously has great regard for his job, and had all evidence of algae and chemical imbalance FULLY resolved in less than 2 weeks. Update Feb. 2019 - We have now installed a pool heater (heat pump) through ASP which also completed several maintenance requests. If I could post a picture of my koolaid green pool I would, so everyone could see how "good" ASP is! I like the service guy Patrick, but he told me that 3 cartridges in my DE filter had holes thus causing all the dirty water to flow back into my pool. Question is, how'd it get so dirty?? And it turned koolaid green in about 3-4 days!! So as much as I liked Patrick, I have nobody else to look at for the condition of my pool! I really believe he tried to clean it but it was like sweeping a mountain of dirt with a q-tip. In addition, two days when I came home from work I found a number of big green algae splotches throughout my pool. It was about all I could take from ASP and they left me no choice but to fire them immediately. Owner Clint talked the talk but it turns out it was without substance. Very disappointing. Thought these guys would be the last pool company I'd ever have to hire.

Update: this is the first time I've updated a review, but feel people should be aware. Hired this company for a year. I assumed they were doing everything well, that was until I took a water sample in for testing. Many of the chemicals were off balance. And not a little off balance, but major off balance. For example, my phosphates was at 2,000ppm, where it is supposed to be under 100. Both PH and Alkalinity were also very high- it took me almost 3 gallons of acid to get them down to where they were supposed to be. I have no idea how long this happened for, but I do know they lost my trust. Bottom line- don't just assume they will do their job- test their work (which is sad). When I first moved to the area I sent out quote requests to several companies. ASP was the only one to respond, and they responded back right away. The rest of their service has reflected that quick response- they have been helpful with the many questions I have had and have been thorough in treating and servicing my pool.

Clint came out and gave us a very reasonable estimate for Cool Decking replacement. He was on time, very pleasant and professional. The crew that came out to do the work were friendly, quick, quiet and cleaned up the pool and yard when they were finished. Terrible shady pool company aweful.I had them come in to do some work on pool nothing but a hassle. I asked to install a new pool light which they said was new but it was just some light from Home Depot, that didnt last long burnt out after 4mths and we didnt even use it much.Also asked them to recaulk the pool ,the bonehead didnt even remove the old caulk just slapped on caulk over old caulk and made a mess.He got it all over pool deck which didn't come off. I had them do some repiping which turned out fine. If I could give them zero stars I would they suck. If you looking for them to do some work skip them by.Im not a person who's cheap or just likes to complain, they were just so bad i hope the next person will see this review and avoid doing business with this pool company.

Great company. When we moved into our house two years ago the landlord had completely let the pool go green. It was disgusting. After being jerked around by the landlord on cleaning the pool we finally decided to call ASP and we are glad we did. They had the pool drained, cleaned and refilled in less than a week. Our pool guy Patrick is awesome. During monsoon season our pool can get a little iffy right after a big storm. If we see something and call Patrick he always makes time to come out that day to treat the pool. We have had ASP for about two years now and have no complaints.

These people are the least friendly people I have ever had to deal with. If they weren't tied into the rent with our landlord I would switch them in a heartbeat! They come on a designated day yet they come any day of the week with "repairs". The first big repair the landlord company didn't even know what was going on at first! When I asked the guy why they didn't call and let me know they were coming on a different day he kind of laughed like I was asking the moon and stars! No! As a pregnant woman by herself most of the day I'm not comfortable with strange men coming into my backyard without my knowledge. He informed me he rang the bell 3 times (after the phone call question) and I informed him I was at the back of the house cleaning with headphones on and if I had a phone call giving me a heads up I would have been more aware! It's just been very frustrating dealing with them, and it's unfortunate that he didn't even apologize for scaring me or any thing, and I know it's because I'm only a renter so he probably doesn't care. I intend on talking to my landlord about this but I'm hoping nobody else has the same problems in the future.

Darren at America's Swimming Pool was a huge help when we had a very serious leak in our pool due to a large crack running along the bottom. This is our first pool and we had only lived in the house for about 6 months before the pool started leaking. He explained the entire process to us and made it very easy for us to understand. His team did an excellent job on the repair. And to top it off Darren even came over himself to help me get the equipment back up and running properly which he absolutely did not have to do! Service has seriously declined. As other reviewers have stated, the technician is rarely there for more than 5 minutes. He adds chemicals and will skim for a few minutes after a monsoon, but I don't recall him EVER vacuuming the pool. Last week I sent the owner pictures of our pool filled with leaves only 33 minutes after the technician left. No wind at all, so all the leaves were there when he came and left. The owner (Clint) confirmed in his email that the pool shouldn't look like that, but when I asked him to send someone to finish the job he said he "would try"! Nobody ever came so we are changing pool service providers.

Stay away from this company! They constantly were trying to get money by recommending equipment that they claimed needed to be replaced but would never give us an actual receipt from their supplier. Then our pool turned green because the technician wasn't treating our pool with the proper chemicals or treating it at all. They sent a service report that our pool water turned green and they would not treat it unless we paid them to drain the pool and refill it. I called Davis pools for a second opinion. They informed me that the pool should have NEVER turned green with the weekly servicing we were being charged for and to absolutely NOT allow them to drain our pool in the middle of the summer, as the heat would damage the pool surface. Davis gave me instructions to give to ASP as to what to add to the water, etc. I had to demand Clint to have the tech treat our pool rather than drain it. I feel like they were not only trying to get another $400 out of us and either didn't have the basic knowledge to know you can't drain any pool in that kind of heat without causing serious damage or they just didn't care! We switched to Davis Pools after that and have been so happy.

We heard about ASP from a neighbor who uses their services and now completely understand their satisfaction after using them for myself. Upon my initial on-site visit with Clint, I knew ASP was the right choice for us. His level of professionalism, knowledge and courtesy were impressive and I have been nothing but pleased with the results we have gotten from his team. ASP is very thorough from start to finish, even sending an email with pictures of the pool after the job is finished which include what, if any, chemicals were added. We hired ASP to care for our pool this year when we converted to being "snowbirds" and we were extremely satisfied with their service. They provided us with weekly reports delineating what work was done on our pool, along with a new photo each week to show the condition of the pool. After a fantastic complete pool resurfacing done 4 years ago, Clint went above & beyond in June of 2019 by installing a state of the art automation & pool lighting system controllable remotely on my IPhone or IPad through WiFi! It’s amazing technology! And I love the color programs for my pool light....just stunning in the evening! Patrick handled the install efficiently & gave me a lesson on operation of the panel...which is so easy to understand. Just started using them for a few months now. I always think that part of the weekly maintenance is brushing the bottom of the pool, and not just taking out the dirt on top of the water. Our technician is not as efficient as I thought he would be. I read the good reviews here and that's the reason why I called them. Our technician doesn't leave a note - for example - that the pool is okay to swim, or that he put chemical on the pool and not to swim for a few hours, etc. He always just put his name and date he visited our pool. I complained many times and called the office. I was always told that they will speak to the technician, but nothing has been done. The technician is still leaving a "blank" note, and the bottom of the pool is still not brushed as good as it should be. Time to search for another pool company.

We recently moved to Mesa from the Seattle area. We had never owned a pool and had a lot of questions. On the recommendation of our real estate agent, ASP owner Clint Rowley checked our pool during the inspection phase of our purchase contract and assured us that it was in fine shape. Later, when we were ready to move in, we asked him to ensure our pool was ready for swimming. He came out the first day we were here and showed me the basics of pool ownership. He made sure that all my questions were answered before he left. I followed his advice and had the filter cleaned. He said I could do it myself, but after seeing what had to be done, I am glad I hired ASP to do it. It appeared to my untrained eyes to be very dirty. The person they sent to clean it spent a lot of time… certainly worth the amount they charged. There was an obvious increase in water flow after the cleaning. We set up a weekly schedule for pool maintenance. I get a status report after each maintenance call. So far the same person has come each week. She is very friendly and also doesn’t seem to mind answering my questions. Overall, I am very pleased.
