I refrained after the first cleaning to write a review when my house was put on the real estate market because I had to have them come out again because of poor service but I thought I would use them again for the move out cleaning and see if the cleaning was better. It was not. They are good with scheduling and setting up cleanings. They are bad at attention to detail. Corners and base boards ignored and not cleaned along with fans not dusted. For $300 I think they would do a better job.

We decided after living in the city about 6 years that in order for us to have any free time we would need to hire someone/service to clean. They did an outstanding job. The first thing on my to-do list once I sealed the deal on my co-op was to have it cleaned. It wasn't left in disarray, but it was empty for a while so there was a lot of dust and buildup everywhere. I figured before I started moving furniture in I would just have a service come in and clean it all so I can start with a (literally) clean slate. I didn't grow up in a household that had someone come in and clean, so I really wasn't an informed consumer in that regard. I researched other companies like Merry Maids and Molly Maids but their track record was spotty and their Yelp reviews were horrible. I actually found Two Maids by doing a Google search. What stood out was that their website was pretty thorough, and they had a cleaning service specific for moving into a new place. I decided to call and inquire. Two Maids is actually a franchise, they have a few locations throughout the country but the closest one in the NY metropolitan area is in White Plains. After going over the details and getting a quote from Christa (the operator of this specific franchise), I set up an appointment; two housekeepers met me at the specified time and they went to work. It took them about 3 to 3.5 hours to clean everything, and overall they were super thorough Everything was spotless - they were friendly and really exceeded my expectations. I would definitely consider using Two Maids for any other cleaning matters I may need, and would have no qualms about recommending them to others.

I too am completely surprised about the positive reviews. I contacted Two Maids and a Mop for a move in cleaning. When speaking with India, I specifically said I needed the tracks of the windows cleaned. India told me no problem - they would clean the windows, just not the outside of the windows. I had scheduled my cleaning and the time was confirmed prior. I was given a window of 11am - 12pm for the maids to arrive. When setting this up, I had explained to India that I would not be present, but my mom would let the people in. The first issue was that the maids did not show up until after 1pm. I had to call not once, but twice to find out where they were and when they would be arriving. Upon arrival, they were given a tour of the home (which was EMPTY) and an overview of what to do. Again, the windows were mentioned - specifically the tracks. At no point, until they were leaving and when I spoke with India the following day, was it mentioned they didn't open windows. How do you expect to clean the tracks of a window without opening the window. When speaking with India, I expressed my frustration and disappointment with not only the fact that the maids were late, but also the, what she called, mis-communication. I'm not sure what is mis-communicated when I specifically request a service but am not told it's not feasible until AFTER I've paid. Additionally, not only were the services I requested not performed, but the job performed was not up to par at all. There was still a mold ring in one of my toilets, and the ceiling fans still had dust on them. I'm not quite sure what they cleaned in the time they were here since I didn't have any furniture. Yes, it was offered for them to send people back to re-clean. That wasn't possible as I was moving the next day and it wouldn't make sense. I asked for a discount on the $320 paid for the service I didn't receive. India informed me I would have to speak with the owner, who was out of town at a conference but would be back on Monday. That was over a week ago. I attempted to call and left a message, but as of yet, my call had not been returned. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone!!!

Sooooooo. I have a friend who owns a Two Maids and a Mop franchise in another state. I tell her Im selling my home and how much does her company charge for a move out clean, she tells me and, although pretty pricey, I decided well I want it real clean since Im putting the house on the market better pay someone as I own a plumbing company and Im sure if you have any plumbing done in your house or any construction you know plumbers dont clean real well we clean up after out selves but we are plumbers not maids. Anyways......... So 2 days before the cleaning service was to come I had all the the floor tile and grout cleaned professionally and the day before I had all the carpet replaced and a week before all the trim, baseboard, and doors were repainted. So basically I paid 425.00 to have the bathrooms cleaned, the kitchen cleaned, the windows cleaned, the blinds dusted, the ceiling fans dusted and cleaned, the cabinet front and drawers cleaned. Plus the house is basically empty except for one bed, a TV, a coffee maker and a little charging station for my phones. Since im still living there with the bare minimum while I sell my business and my wife is in our new house in a different state The day of the service the owner comes on time at 9am and says he had someone call in sick and he was going to start and have another crew come after they are done with another job . No problem I will be at work all day. I stop by the house around 1230 to get something , nobody is there but there are cleaning supplies in the house, ( He did tell me he had to go check on a couple things and might have to leave) so I wasnt concerned. So fast forward to 5 pm. I get home and his car is out front so Im thinking great he came back to check on how the job went. That was not the case. I go inside and he says he had to get his wife and she is upstairs cleaning I go inside and he is there still cleaning and he says his wife is upstairs cleaning also I ask how much longer and he says 2 more hours. Frustrated but understanding I say OK and proceed to paint my garage since I dont want to bother them while they work since I hate when people watch me work, I gave them the same courtesy. So a couple hours go by and I go out front to see if the car is still there and its gone, no goodbye, Thank you, screw you nothing they just left, ok weird but ok. I go into the house to check it out. Bathrooms look great. Floors , well they didnt have to do anything , light switch covers good, fridge spotless, cooktop great, fans cleaned great. Microwave was spotless. So far pretty happy. Then I start really looking. The cabinets were not dusted, maybe slightly, but there is dust on the sides and definetly not cleaned. The inside of some of the drawers were cleaned out but not all. Some of the blinds were clean but I just put in 9 new blinds so Im not sure if the new blinds were clean because I just installed them and they just missed the old one as they were dusty. The oven was attempted be cleaned but that was a miss and the drawer at the bottom of the oven still had grease in it so it wasnt even touched. The counter tops were wiped off but the few things I had on the counters were not moved and just wiped around and it was filthy under them. Yes a coffee maker and a little phone charging station. So was it worth it, No way. Would I hire again, Nope. Am I going to tell my good friend who owns one of these franchises, Nope. But they asked for a review and here it is

I hired Two Maids & A Mop to come to my empty house to do a "deep clean" before I moved it. I was highly disappointed in their efforts to "deep clean" my house. They did not clean the refrigerator drawers, there was still rust in places where it could come up (bathroom), as I showed them. There was dust in the window seal areas that they missed, the drawers were dirty with old food still stuck in one of them. It didn't even smell clean like most houses do after they're cleaned. Not to mention, it's probably not the best idea to bring two "in training" maids to deep clean a house that I expected to be a lot cleaner. On a more positive note, I called them same day with my complaints and they came right back over to re-clean the areas they missed.

I had an issue with my tub for a new property I moved into they went above and beyond to make sure my home was clean and even helped with the tub which wasnt at all their responsibility! My husband and I hired Two Maids and a Mop for a deep clean of our house in May. They were very professional and showed up as scheduled. I was impressed with the good job they did on the details. However, there were a couple of obvious spots that were missed. The kitchen sink had not been cleaned and the surface of our island had a couple of spots they did not wipe. Overall, though we were very satisfied and plan to sign up for the Monthly Premium maintenance package.

My husband surprised me by hiring your cleaning staff and I was impressed with a job well done. It was in a very messy condition but they cleaned and organized our laundry room and closet as part of the initial cleaning service. They also cleaned inside the kitchen appliances which was a real treat. The only minor critique to offer is one of the mirrors was rather streaky and there was still a bit of dust on one of the ceiling fans. All-in-all this was a wonderful service and we will definitely continue using Two Maids & a Mop!

If I could leave no stars I would. Update: I changed my review from the shining review below because I had the cleaners back yesterday and they left my dog out in my back yard in the middle of summer in Florida with no fresh water! I have a husky, she’s rambunctious but super friendly. I specifically asked the company if they were pet friendly and used to a house full of animals as I have several. They assured me they were. My back door was also left unlocked. It must have been a different crew this time because the floors were still dirty and they missed the counter in one of my two bathrooms. I might have overlooked the cleaning itself and requested a new crew if they hadn’t made a number of excuses when I called asking about my dog. They had no idea when I was getting home, claimed they called me several times but didn’t leave a voice mail and then tried to assuage me by saying they’d get cleaners more comfortable with dogs. They’ve lost my business forever. If you have pets please don’t hire this company. Our house is currently under renovation so there’s a lot of work dust and dirt. The cleaners did a great job working with and around the construction as well as all of our pets! My only complaint is that they haphazardly threw my dishes into the dishwasher and I had to reload and wash it all again.

I wish I had the same great experience everyone else did. This was my first time using this service, so I was pretty excited to do so. I filled out the paperwork online and requested an alternating biweekly schedule. You would think with it being the first time they would do the premium service then go to a touch up right? Nope! I did a walk thru the ladies did an ok job, I never looked down to check the baseboards (pretty much the reason I hired them ). Later on, I realized that the baseboards weren't cleaned so I called the office and it just went downhill from there. Supposedly the prices on the internet were not correct (had nothing to do with me), they did not have my choice of alternating biweekly but a touch up was what popped up for me (if it was my FIRST time you'd think they would have called to check), and I just did not feel like going back and forth for a matter that was not even my fault. If the issue was addressed differently, I would've paid the price asked of me for my next service, but it was made like it was my fault that their website was spitting out the wrong information and also that I did not get the service I was supposed to. I feel someone should've been sent the next day to correct the problem.... I guess that is just me though. I gave them a fair try. Maids did only what they were told, so I can't blame them. They were sweet. Won't be trying company again.

The two girls who came to clean my apartment were absolutely wonderful (I wish I had gotten their names)! They were very friendly and personable and asked multiple times if there was anything else they could help with before they left (as they cleaned much faster than I expected). They even cleaned the outside of my patio doors upon request, even though that's not something they normally do. I LOVED my experience with two maids and a mop. I hired them once a season for a full-house clean and couldn't be happier with the state of my home! My compliant is that I can't schedule cleanings online. New customers can, and my second time I used the online scheduler again. But I was told the online tool is only for new customers, and I would need to call next time to schedule a cleaning. I know me... and I know that's never gonna happen :( Two maids, let me know if I can email, text, or go online to schedule my next cleaning instead!

Over Charged and won't return calls - having a poor customer experience with calling them multiple times and questions I have never get answered. Have asked for Wes, was told would call me next day - DIdn't Happen! - Called again, then told was out until Monday - seems no one there has any concern for customer service recovery or maintenance. NOT HAPPY, DO NOT RECOMMEND - UPDATE - Wes did call me back after this posting and it was a positive discussion, with acknowledgement of areas of improvement (listening is best customer service). We came to a positive resolution and I will be posting another review in the next 30 days as I will be continuing their services at this point. Glad to get appropriate resolution and communication. I have REVISED my Rating to 3 and will evaluate the Rating again in 30 days. 7-19.19 UPDATE - This week had my place cleaned again by Two Maids and it was MUCH BETTER! My wife travels to China 2-3 times a year for a month at a time. I decided to surprise her and have the whole house cleaned professionally so she could get home and relax vs. working around the home cleaning. I reached out to Two Maids & A MOP to get the job done and boy was that a mistake. We scheduled service for a 3 hour cleaning - which i was assured would be perfect. They could only come in the afternoon so I was able to be there while they were working. When I arrived home I walked through my home and was very disappointed. My floors were moped alright - there were streaks with a haze everywhere on my 1st floor accept for the carpeted TV sitting room. Vacuuming was great accept they never when down to our finished basement (because the door was locked and I guess they couldn't figure out how to turn a lock) and they forgot to clean my laminate floors. They wiped down most surfaces but didn't move anything to clean underneath. There were a number of locations that were still very dusty too. The showers were not cleaned and the counter tops were all hazy and streaky too. I called Two Maids & A Mop and had to leave a voice mail. I didn't get a call back till 2 pm the next day. When I spoke to the women, she asked what was wrong - and I explained. She said that doesn't sound like to girls who came to my home. She said she will talk to them and that she is sorry I didn't feel my home was properly cleaned. I asked what she was going to do about it, and she said there was nothing she could do. After I told her i would definitely write a poor review - she said she would contact the owner and to be patient waiting for a call back. She new my wife was coming home the next day and took no action to make this write. Mean time, I have to take a 1/2 day off work to clean up their mess, and clean my own home. This company does not know how to spell customer service. They don't act quickly to fix mistakes, and they don't seem to care if their clients are satisfied. I think they wouldn't mind not if you went somewhere else to have a professional service clean your home. Stay Away from this company - they are worthless!

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a house cleaning service. I found Two Maids & A Mop via Google search. The website was very straight forward. I received a quote within 10 minutes and was called the next day to schedule my cleaning. Excellent and different cleaning service! I paid for a deep clean (which is recommended before you start bi-weekly or weekly cleanings. Setting up the appointment was easy (they have tons of availability and make it work for your schedule), and the cleaning was thorough and thoughtful. I could tell they took their time. Spaces that are easily missed (like the back of the handle of the microwave, for example) were all cleaned. We're happy customers and will continue to use the service!

My house hadn't been professionally cleaned in over 2 years, except for the VERY light cleaning that I do myself. This was the first time I had engaged Two Maids & A Mop, so the house definitely presented a cleaning challenge for them! The two women (Hunter & Kayla) who were sent over by Two Maids & A Mop did a fantastic job!!! They were friendly, professional, & worked industriously the entire time they were on the job, only stopping to chat with me after the work was completed. They vacuumed the carpets, swept & mopped the hardwood floors, thoroughly cleaned the bathrooms until they shined, cleaned the counter-tops and appliances in the kitchen, dusted the blinds, cleaned the windows & windowsills, and more. I've worked with other maids & maid services in the past, and I have never seen anyone do as thorough and intelligent a job of cleaning. Whenever they had a question, which wasn't often, they asked me before acting (like whether I was deliberately saving all the little pieces of soap on the shower counter; I wasn't). A pet peeve I have had about other maids/services in the past is that when they clean counter-tops (especially in bathrooms), they rearrange all my stuff which had been organized on those counter-tops. Hunter & Kayla are the only ones I've ever had come in who cleaned the counters and then replaced everything back where I had originally placed it! And I hadn't even thought to tell them to do that! Wow! I liked living in my home before but I really love the way it looks now! It even smells fresher! If they can continue this level of quality service on future visits, I'll never use anyone else except Two Maids & A Mop!

The initial few cleanings were everything I expected. They showed up on time and did a very thorough cleaning. Then the quality got worse and worse. They stopped wiping down all the counters, washing the dishes, throwing out the trash, dusting the blinds, cleaning the mirrors, etc. They corrected this by sending someone out to finish what wasn't completed and that was followed by a few good cleanings but then it got worse again. The customer service is great with quick responses and a willingness to help with any issues but the overall cleaning aspect is just not up to par. The pricing also seems a little excessive for a 2 bedroom 2 bath but maybe that is standard for this area. I also did not like that a different person came every time so it was hard to trust whoever showed up. I would always collect my valuables and keep them in a bag with me until they left which is not a nice feeling. Finally, they did not always show up on time. Yes, they say that the person will show up at an approximate time, but if you work from home like I do, it's really hard to schedule your day when they show up later or earlier than expected. If you're looking for a mediocre cleaning with great customer service I do recommend them. If you expect an 8/10 or better every single time then this isn't the right company for you.

I recently lost my cleaning lady of several years due to illness. I did some research and hired Two Maids & A Mop to do a deep clean of my home prior to scheduling them on an every other week basis. They sent a team of 3 young women. I showed them around and explained a couple of things that I am particular about, like lifting the edge of an area rug to vacuum under the edge where dirt collects. When I arrived home 3 hours later, they were finished and gone. I had expressly said use only my Bona floor cleaner on the hardwood floors. Instead, they did something that has left the wood floors very slippery with a film of something that makes our rubber-soled shoes squeak when we walk on them. They did not dust the tops of picture frames or the louvers on the closet doors. They dusted a glass-topped lamp table, but did not wash off the cup ring that was on the table. They spray cleaned the kitchen counters including wiping right over some stuck on food. So the counters looked shiny, but if you ran your hand over them, you could feel the stuck on bits. They vacuumed around things, even a decorative pillow that was half under a dresser where it had fallen, and when I picked it up to put it on the bed, there was dust and dog hair still on the floor. They seemed to vacuum well where there were no obstacles, and they cleaned the dog's nose & breath prints off the lower part of the windows very nicely. The bathrooms were done well. I guess it depends on which team member does which room because I could see differences in the levels of cleanliness. Overall, I would say stay away unless you can be home while the cleaning is going on. I waited two days to call the company because I was trying to cut them some slack since they were new to me and the house. But as I find more things around the house that were not done properly, I decided to call although I am not expecting a return call.

Two maids and a thief! We moved into a new house this summer and by fall wanted to get someone to clean the house after we had settled in. Called this service and made an appointment - they ask you to prioritize what you need done in the house and they send two women over for two hours. We tried to stay out of their way to they could work, so we really weren't watching what they were doing every minute, of course. What was apparent, almost from the beginning,was the woman who took the upstairs was doing a fantastic and thorough job. The woman working downstairs seemed a bit slower and unsure of herself. What was more apparent when they left was that the woman who had worked downstairs had barely done anything --- large sections of the floor and furniture had not been swept nor dusted. What she had been busy doing was figuring out a way to steal one of our electronic devices we had left sitting out and charging on a table nearby. We noticed it was missing later that day, and it was so obvious who had taken it that there was no doubt in our minds. We called Two Maids to see what they could do about it --- very little, apparently. They questioned the woman, just to see if she had "moved" it. She had moved it, all right --- into her possession. We waited a couple of days to see if it would magically "turn up," but it did not. We filed a police report. A couple weeks passed before the Char Meck police showed up at our door. They had recovered our device from a pawn shop. It seems they're supposed to report stolen property, so we're glad we filed the police report. The officer who brought it in asked us a few questions --- they seemed to have strong suspicions already about who had dropped it off at the pawn shop. After recharging our recovered device and turning it back on, expecting that it had been damaged somehow, I was surprised and pleased to note the thief had configured their email and left a copy of their resume, including name, address and phone number. The identity of the this person coincided with, you guessed it, the name of the woman who cleaned our downstairs --- the same woman they arrested at work a couple days later. It's bad enough that she stole something from our house when we weren't looking, but what's worse is the way Two Maids insisted "we background check" everyone. It's not good enough --- this woman was sketchy from the start, not to mention a LOUSY housekeeper, no matter how you look at it. Her job performance was beyond poor and I doubt she had any training at all. We're lucky that she was dumb enough to leave her resume right on the thing, as well as the photos she and her children had taken of each other with it --- made it much easier for the cops to nail her. And that she was dumb enough to turn it into a pawn shop instead of selling it outright. And I can almost forgive Two Maids for sending a thief into my house, but I could not forgive them for sending me a "professional cleaner" who was anything but that. She was way out of her depth and it's doubtful she had any kind of previous experience or training. She was slow, confused and incapable of basic cleaning tasks like dusting and sweeping.

I was really happy with my 2 hr Design with Time cleaning yesterday. I really liked how efficient the cleaners were. They were able to clean a lot more than I had anticipated. I also like that they took the initiative to move on to other parts of the house when I was otherwise occupied. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they cleaned the bathroom fan vents (which were really dirty) which often get overlooked. An area for improvement would be to clean the water spots on the chrome fixtures in the shower. Overall, I would rate them 9/10.

I wish I had the same great experience everyone else did. This was my first time using this service, so I was pretty excited to do so. I filled out the paperwork online and requested an alternating biweekly schedule. You would think with it being the first time they would do the premium service then go to a touch up right? Nope! I did a walk thru the ladies did an ok job, I never looked down to check the baseboards (pretty much the reason I hired them ). Later on, I realized that the baseboards weren't cleaned so I called the office and it just went downhill from there. Supposedly the prices on the internet were not correct (had nothing to do with me), they did not have my choice of alternating biweekly but a touch up was what popped up for me (if it was my FIRST time you'd think they would have called to check), and I just did not feel like going back and forth for a matter that was not even my fault. If the issue was addressed differently, I would've paid the price asked of me for my next service, but it was made like it was my fault that their website was spitting out the wrong information and also that I did not get the service I was supposed to. I feel someone should've been sent the next day to correct the problem.... I guess that is just me though. I gave them a fair try. Maids did only what they were told, so I can't blame them. They were sweet. Won't be trying company again.

I had Two maids and a mop come to my home for initial service, which was explained as a deep cleaning. The two ladies who arrived were professional, personable, and on time. They worked hard and were very responsive to address items I pointed out while they were here. That said, I feel the overall quality of the cleaning was rather spotty. For instance, a day after they cleaned, as I walk barefoot on my hardwood floors my feet are dirty with visible water spots dried on the floor. I've also noticed chairs were not dusted, and wood furniture not polished.

This was my first experience with any cleaning service and I was completely dissatisfied! After receiving a small promotion at work, I "treated" myself to a cleaning service visit for Mother's Day. My appointment was confirmed for 1 pm the day before. However, the next day cleaning services were at my door at 11:45 am. I made a few quick adjustments to my daily schedule and made this work. I was under the impression "two" maids would be at my house, but there was only one. I was also, never told there was a time limit. When making the appointment, I was asked the size of my house. When asked what service I wanted I said "whole house cleaned-premium package"...I have an 1800 sq ft home and my price was $130 to $150...So, at around 1:45 the maid comes to me and says, "my time is up and I have another house to be at in 15 mins" I was completely thrown off by this, bc I was never told about a time limit. In this time my kitchen, livingroom, hardwood, and 1 bathroom were cleaned. She never made it to my steps, upstairs, kids bedrooms,Master or 2nd bathroom! I called the Manager and asked what the next step was...Do they schedule another appointment to finish the job or do you reduce the price for the unfinished job...I was told this told was for the "visit". I said well there was only one maid and not two so half the amount of work got done. After arguing with me on this matter, she reduced the price but not enough..... I will end by saying the poor girl that did show up was very sweet and tried her best...and I did tip her well. This situation is not the workers fault-it is poor management and lack of communication.

I hired Two Maids & Mop of Auburn for a “deep clean” of my home and did not receive the level of service expected for the price ($345 for less than 1,200 square feet on the lower level of my home). Quite honestly, it wasn’t even equivalent to what I’d expect from a basic weekly cleaning. After reporting this to their local office (same day), I was told that refunds or even price adjustments are strictly against franchise policy. My only option was having them revisit my home. The office manager returned with the crew that afternoon for a redo which included an awkward walkthrough. At times, I actually felt like I had to defend myself for questioning the quality of their work. Point being, I called this company to help me. I had no issues with paying a premium price, but expected a premium service. This was such a waste of money and an overall bad experience. I never even received a follow-up call. I hope that my review is helpful to those researching cleaning services in Auburn and also to management in possibly reevaluating their policies, pricing, and services.

My house hadn't been professionally cleaned in over 2 years, except for the VERY light cleaning that I do myself. This was the first time I had engaged Two Maids & A Mop, so the house definitely presented a cleaning challenge for them! The two women (Hunter & Kayla) who were sent over by Two Maids & A Mop did a fantastic job!!! They were friendly, professional, & worked industriously the entire time they were on the job, only stopping to chat with me after the work was completed. They vacuumed the carpets, swept & mopped the hardwood floors, thoroughly cleaned the bathrooms until they shined, cleaned the counter-tops and appliances in the kitchen, dusted the blinds, cleaned the windows & windowsills, and more. I've worked with other maids & maid services in the past, and I have never seen anyone do as thorough and intelligent a job of cleaning. Whenever they had a question, which wasn't often, they asked me before acting (like whether I was deliberately saving all the little pieces of soap on the shower counter; I wasn't). A pet peeve I have had about other maids/services in the past is that when they clean counter-tops (especially in bathrooms), they rearrange all my stuff which had been organized on those counter-tops. Hunter & Kayla are the only ones I've ever had come in who cleaned the counters and then replaced everything back where I had originally placed it! And I hadn't even thought to tell them to do that! Wow! I liked living in my home before but I really love the way it looks now! It even smells fresher! If they can continue this level of quality service on future visits, I'll never use anyone else except Two Maids & A Mop!

If there were a ZERO, I would give it, but I am forced to give a 1. Scheduling and taking my money was the only thing this company is good at. I WASTED $195 on this service on a 3 hour "move in service." I should be refunded. I had to call and ask if they had "actually been there." The ceiling fans were caked with dust, there was urine and hair still on the toilets, and light fixtures were also caked with dust. When I called to question this, there WAS NOT and apology, but only an excuse that the cleaners couldn't reach the fans or fixtures. Strangely enough- I CAN REACH THEM on my step stool and I am 5'3". You ladies are a CLEANING COMPANY, you should have your own step stool on site! I told a friend of my terrible experience and she tells me that she had the SAME experience with a regular cleaning and went with another company. My house had no furniture, there are no excuses. I WASTED $195, don't waste yours!!!!!!

We needed to list a house very quickly and had to find a local agency that had the time & flexibility to work with us. Mari was our seventh phone call b/c it was a Sunday and all the other agencies were closed for scheduling. Thank goodness she wasn't! She gave us an incredible rate, is a very charismatic & efficient professional and even let us know that her team finished early so she was reducing the price accordingly! Who does that?? Absolutely amazing service, courtesy and friendliness. The professionalism, her careful coordinating with her team with us about what we needed along with staying in touch with our Project Manager & us during the process, really eased our mind. Also, her team deep cleaned the house while working around our handyman who was also working all over the house at the same time. I can't believe how much they got done in only 3-4 hours! There are parts of that house (shudder) that haven't been deep cleaned in decades! One of the things I respect the most is that Mari understood immediately that moving and listing your house and having it cleaned it can be such a bureaucratic nightmare and also that it's hard to have people come in and see its condition, especially if you have a fixer upper or aren't the best cleaner (ahem!) Mari was very sensitive from the start to that & even upbeat about our house after the team visited it b/c we'd had a forthright conversation of its condition and she described very reasonable expectations. Our entire family feel very, very happy with the results & says the entire house is gleaming! I can't recommend this company highly enough & have already mentioned Mari and her team to other neighbors. They provided service at a price that was absolutely worth 3-4X more.

We scheduled with Two Maids and a Mop to do a deep clean before having company. Three ladies came and worked very hard for 6+ hours. They cleaned blinds and high places that are difficult to do as well as everything else . They were easy to work with and did not mind when I asked them to double check a particular area. The owner and manager came out and inspected their work, along with bringing their employees pizza for lunch. There were a few tiny spots they missed but that is not bad considering the amount of work they did. We are pleased that we do not have to do the deep clean ourselves and the price is definitely worth it!

My experience with the company was not good as I expected. My house was not that dirty and has only one bathroom up stairs to clean since other company cleaned the carpet. Two rooms and one bathroom down stairs a living room and a kitchen. The two maids arrived at 9:00 am and they took until 3:30 pm to clean. Our experience was just OK. I don't think our house was as clean as it should have been after paying $300 for a move-in cleaning. There were still dirty spots in closets, appliances etc. The girls were there for five hours, but when I returned things were just not as clean as I felt they should have been. I had to call to have them come back and re-clean, which, to their credit, they did. However, the followup cleaning was only 20 minutes. I would not use this service again.

They did not clean to our expectations. We paid for the highest level service offered but received the basic service for weeks. Windows were not cleaned, vertical surfaces were not cleaned, and after my wife was doing some spring cleaning it is obvious they have never even touched baseboards or exposed furniture bases. Even after bringing it to the company's attention windows and vertical surfaces are not consistently cleaned. We have actually watched the cleaners dust around things, without moving them. At best the service is rushed. Not worth $260 per month price tag.

The service can be somewhat inconsistent, depending on who comes to clean. Sometimes it is excellent (you get home and say WOW!) and other times there is much to be desired (you get home and say, what did I pay for?) However, I have reached out to management multiple times and they always resolve my complaints. The last time (10/6/17) they did not do the sink load of dishes and completely missed one of our trash cans. A different trash can had a new liner in it, but there was still trash in the can under the liner!! Also, they did not go under the bed with the vacuum or mop. We don't keep anything under the bed so it should've been easy to clean. They call the day before to confirm the time the team will arrive, but only one time have they showed up within that scheduled time.

I was selected to receive these and the company hasn't been anything other than professional. My husband called and asked about getting a deep cleaning since I had been unable to do mine this year. He quoted us a fair price and Meranda and Alex came out and did an AMAZING job! I started crying as it had been a while since I really felt my house was clean. It was picked up and livable but this was CLEAN. I am set up in August and September for my free cleanings and I can't be happier.

I hired “Two maids and a mop” to clean my sons townhouse once a month. I specifically asked that they dust all surfaces, including baseboards and window sills, along with basic bathroom cleaning , floor mopping and carpet vacuuming. I was recently visiting my son when the maids came to clean. It was a crew of 2 young ladies. To my surprise, they managed to clean a 3 bedroom, 2 bath townhome in less then 35 minutes! They did not vacuum the steps, wipe down the table, dust the dining room table and chairs, or the television console. I watched one young lady swiffer under the dining room table without pulling out the chairs, just bumping the mop against them! I was so horrified, that I called the company immediately to complain, didn’t get an answer, but I left a message, and asked for someone to call me back. I have not gotten a return call. Don’t waste your money using this company!

Second time using this service, and am definitely disappointed. They have a "one hour window" for arriving. I attempted to call their office numerous times to confirm the team was coming since it was a holiday. They were in a meeting and therefore didn't answer. I left messages on the machine. They did refund my money minus the $25 but their team is also very happy to argue with you on the phone and defend what they feel are acceptable customer service skills. However, I don't think that having a receptionist is an unreasonable demand so that your customers can be reassured their team is arriving. The Maids are more expensive but worth it. You get what you pay for.

I hired Two Maids and a Mop to do a deep clean of my house. I paid the full price for the deep clean However, only one maid showed up. I was told that the other person went home sick. She worked really hard for 5.5 hours, but she didn't get it all done. I just had to go into my master bath and mop it because it wasn't clean at all. The sinks and tub were cleaned, but not the floors. I had been hoping to hire this company to come once a month to do cleaning, but, I think I will be looking elsewhere. I read other reviews of this same thing happening with this company. If I hired two maids at a price of $215 for a deep clean yet only one maid showed up, I should not have to pay the full $215. That's just good business. I was not provided what the owner promised when I hired them.

I contacted Two Maids and A Mop in hopes of being able to relieve the stress of taking care of my home as it is the last thing I am able to do with such a busy schedule. From the start the owners Danielle and Vinny seemed unprofessional and confused on how to even run their own business. I was paying a pretty penny for different workers everytime who time and time again were inconsistent and weren’t really doing what I needed them to do. When I brought this concern up to the owner she tried to raise my price claiming I was unsure of the “package” I chose. I should have canceled after the first service but I decided to be nice and give them a chance. Instead of the headache they caused I’ll be happy to pay another service whatever they need to do what I ask of them.

Overall my experience has been good...I have used the service on and off for 2 years. The only thing I ask for improvement on is to recognize when some items need more attention than others...I pay for the upgraded cleaning and it still seems that not always the correct items are concentrated on...however, they always leave the house clean!!! Please concentrate on getting all the grime off the inside of the toilets :) that's the one thing I hate to clean the most! Other than that, I've been extremely satisfied!

This was the home of an elderly person that wasn't able to do any cleaning so they had their hands full. My service on 8/31 was pretty good. There were a few spots that were missed while dusting, which I always let folks know is the number one focus in my house. We have three dogs and the dust just seems to accumulate so quickly. I have noticed that there is a slight lack of consistency amongst the different staff Two Maids & A Mop sends out. My first service was with Angie and Alexa. They were amazing! Overall, I am satisfied with my service, however just a little more attention to detail with the dusting would be greatly appreciated.

We have been using the service for 2 months now. We are satisfied overall and enjoy having someone else do the dirty work. The bathroom sinks, toilets, showers & mirrors are always cleaned above average, but I have to clear the counter to get a thorough wipe down, or I have to ask to have the light switch and door jams wiped. We have an alternating touch up/deep clean schedule. On the deep clean schedule, I usually ask for fans, windows, walls, cupboards, doors & baseboards to be wiped. The majority of those surfaces get touched, but never all. On average, they clean what is exposed. However, on the first visit, I found one of my son's toys underneath the dining room table AFTER they had swept & mopped that area. They do not pull out chairs or move any easily movable furniture to clean under them. Several occasions, I have had to specifically request for them to sweep and mop behind the kitchen trash can or they will not do it. That seems like an easy and obvious area to clean. Corners of rooms and under tables are not touched by the floor cleaning. On last weeks visit, there were a few dirty dishes in the sink and someone removed clean dishes from the dishwasher only enough to put the dirty ones in, spoiling the REST of the clean dishes IN THERE. I had to re-run the load. This weeks visit went well and everything seemed clean, but to my dismay, it would appear that a piece of my trash can is missing after they emptied them. It is a simple thick band that holds the bag in place and now they are gone. We will continue to use the service, because overall, they do a good job, but I would not want to leave them unsupervised.

I really love how they make the kitchen so shiny from the stove, microwave and even the fridge. I even love the toilet paper folding and even the towels as well. Overall this service is by far the best and really worth the money.

I've been really pleased with the level of service and professionalism with Two Maids & A Mop. The house has looked wonderful every time they've come out, and it's been such a relief to not have to worry about cleaning my house! The only item I would note is just that the floors have been a bit sticky - may just need to dilute the cleaner a bit, but that's all and is really not a big deal!

We hired Two Maids & A Mop in Odessa, Fl. I spent today cleaning everything we paid them to do yesterday. Our house is completely empty because our moving truck only shows up tomorrow, so there wasn't anything to clean around. When I ran my hands over every bathroom sink they had cleaned, they were still dirty. My hands were graWey from the dust of the ceilings being done. They had just wiped them. They were certainly not cleaned. The floors have dirt in every corner becuase they use a tiny pad to clean them. It just pushed everything around. The grout in our tile was dirty because the pad obviously can't get in there. When I asked if they were going to mop, I was told they're not allowed to use mops. I find this rather hilarious considering the name of the company. So they take a spray bottle and spray in front of the rag on a stick. You are spraying baseboards and walls! The vaccuum had no attachments, so they didn't clean corners or edges. The spray left a residue on our floors and windows. I gave two stars because they at least sent someone out the next day to look at it. A training manager came back out today and it wasn't any better when they left. This company does not have the tools to do a thorough cleaning. One of the ladies kept mentioning she had another job to get to even though we still had an hour left on what we prepaid. I can't recommend this company to anyone.

I would have loved to give 5 stars but it appeared several small things were not moved out of the way in order to get to all the pet hair. I had to do some extra spot vacumming once I got home. I was so impressed the first few visits but haven't been the last few times. I had a cleaning a few days ago and it was just one woman, when it was supposed to be two ... she was here for only one hour. You would think that if I'm paying $100 for one maid, for one hour, my coffee table would at least been wiped down. There were still coffee marks on my coffee table. My bed wasn't made (like it always has been by the staff previously). My window sills weren't wiped down and the floors in my living room didn't even look swept. I'm totally unimpressed with the service. $100/ hour (for one person) is a lot of money..... I would have better luck cleaning it myself. I cancelled the service and will not be returning.

Only giving 3 stars because of how Andrea, the owner, handled this. Otherwise, the cleaning itself deserves 0 stars. I scheduled a move-in cleaning for my new home, which consisted of cleaning all visible surfaces and inside drawers/cabinets. Not one drawer or cabinet was touched. It looked like all the ladies did was kinda-sorta vacuum and mop (while still missing dead bugs on the carpets). I called management and sent pictures the same day, but did not hear back until the next afternoon after I sent another email. Whitney was very kind and offered to having a different group of ladies come out that day to clean. I explained that it was too late at that point because all of my stuff was just moved in. I scheduled the cleaning service the day before on purpose, as my place was totally empty with no furniture or boxes. I wanted it to be move-in ready so I could immediately unpack and put things away. The owner was out of town, but she contacted me first thing this morning. She apologized and seemed very genuine in her disappointment that the cleaning was not done. She did not charge my card and offered a free cleaning in the future. I will likely not take her up on the free cleaning offer as I would never use a cleaning service other than a move-in cleaning, but I appreciate her doing the right thing. All I lost at the end of the day is a $22 tip I left to the 3 ladies who did not clean my house. I will not say do not try this company, but I will say to make sure you are home the entire time the ladies are there cleaning. They will likely need supervision to make sure the job gets done.
