Horrible cleaning experience! The customer service representatives are extremely rude! And they cannot coordinate a proper delivery date. The cleaning guy was doing such a bad job he was too busy watching my tv rather than doing his job! He left the rug extremely wet that one step on it soaks your sock completely! I was told oh no it's going to be damp not soaking wet! Honestly using this company is just wasting your money! And I have area rugs so it's not like he had a lot of work to do or a big space. I would never use them again nor refer them to anyone

I wish there was a say to provide no stars. Worst customer service and worst ppl to work with. They first said they would come on a certain day and gave me a broad window, we waited waited and waited. No one turned up. Next day i called (they did not) and checked they said they rescehduled me, and i had to rechange my plans and waited and waited and waited no one turned up. then i called again and they rescheduled me again. They have not informed me even once about his rescheduling. I cancelled the work order. The lady on the phone was acting as if it was not their mistake at all. Bad customer service. I will never ever recommend these guys. Work with them if you want to waste your time.

We recently got our carpet cleaning service from sears. The guy came a day later than his appointment because his truck broke down. After cleaning the carpet looked terrible and dirtiest because his machine was probably broken too. We had put an expensive carpet about 3 years back, which was totally ruined and damaged. We called the customer service which is somewhere in Chicago. They did not send anyone to inspect the damage. I think these guys are using Sears name but is some private contractor using cheap materials and inexperienced workers. Beware of this company. It is not what we thought we are hiring for our carpet cleaning. Below are some pictures of our carpet after the messy cleaning done by Sears

Ronald and his assistant were punctual, thorough, and professional. Ronald explained what they were going to do and why. We had some very old, dark stains and he was able to get rid of so much it is hardly noticeable. On our stairs, he also noticed that the carpet was old and worn from 20+ years of traffic and it looks a lot better. We are still planning on getting new carpet on the stairs in a few years, but now there is no hurry. The whole job was quick and dried when they told us it would be dry. We would definitely use Sears and this crew again!

I was only going to vacuum but he gave good reasons why I should have it cleaned. Also, he suggested that I have my chair cushions cleaned (6). They are running a scam business. The lady over the phone told me that there is a deal for 3 rooms (carpet areas) and one hallway. I specifically mentioned that the hallway is tiled. She said "Yes, its included". When the techs showed up they just did my family room and dining area ( counting the family room as 2 areas) and did not do the hallway and said you'd have to pay a lot extra for the hallway. This is not acceptable. This is a scam business and I am never going to use it again.

The team was professional and finished job in a timely manner. Ronald ask me what areas of concern that I had in each room with stains. They were nice guys. Cons: Didn't wear shoe covers, water was leaking everywhere in front yard, and my carpet seemed wet longer than usually. By 10pm the carpets were still pretty wet. I have been using Sears for about 3 years now. I remember the carpet not being so wet. It usually dried in a few hours. Overall, love Sears, good prices, professional guys!

Eduardo and Kendrick are awesome technicians! Both are very knowledgeable. They initially came to remove and clean the dust in our a/c vents. After doing an inspection, they told me that there wasn’t really any dust in the vents. However, there was a more serious issue. They found mold in the central a/c unit where the a/c gets distributed to the vents across the house. They showed me where the mold was present, and I saw that it was pretty bad. So they took care of that problem and also installed this uv light system that goes inside the area where the mold is found. The uv light prevents the mold from growing back. They also took the time to show me how to check on the system and change the uv light bulb, since it needs to be changed every year. Overall I was highly satisfied with their service. Next time I have a problem with my air ducts I’ll definitely call Sears!

Very disappointed in the customer service here. Requested a morning appointment multiple times with several employees here and scheduled a couple weeks in advance to ensure it would be early. Was told at 11 am today that the technician is on his way to his second house and we would be after that. Explained again that I can not do an afternoon cleaning and was told they were sorry they couldn't meet my request and maybe I should be more flexible with my available time. I have two kids to schedule around and this was the only time that worked for us- which I explained several times beforehand as well. Horrible customer service- do not try to work with them!

I would have this service man come to my home again, very respectful, explained everything to me and very courteous. They never complained when moving the furniture, just very courteous. It’s hard to really be able to see how clean your floors are until they are dry. All the rooms look good except my bedroom. That floor doesn’t look as clean as the others. I mean, those spots were so bad that they stunk up the whole hallway even with the doors closed! Well, Trevon and Josue worked their magic and my whole house smells great now! They really scrubbed the problem areas, getting them absolutely clean. I even put my nose down into the carpet on one of the trouble spots and it finally smells clean and sanitized! I'm amazed and so very thankful to these guys today! This is my first time getting the ducts cleaned, and so far I'm very impressed with the results. I've been dealing with excessive dust in my room nearest the intake vent. Basically, I would have to dust every 2-3 days in that room. I have been pleased with the results. Been 3 days and no dust. It feels cleaner in here. Also the gentlemen who came to my home were so polite and professional. Explained the process, took care not to damage the floors, cleaned up after themselves (I was amazed at the amount of junk that fell out of the vents when they were opened). Very impressive. If possible, I wish I could request them the next time I have the air ducts cleaned. I would definitely recommend not only getting the air ducts cleaned regularly but having Sears do it.

He did a detailed cleaning of our HVAC system and installed an air filtration system, went above and beyond what we expected in terms of quality of service. Worst customer service ever... They were scheduled to come in on Friday between 2-4 pm never showed up and worst of all they never called to give us an explanation. We had everyone in the office remove boxes and belongings away from the floor and for what their was NO carpet cleaning. Someone by the name of "Lisa" eventually called on Tuesday and my supervisor explained to her in a calm manner what happened and all "Lisa" said was "have a nice day" and hung up the phone on my supervisor. We are NEVER using their service again oh and we are never shopping at Sears!!! And we really wish someone in the Sears Corporate Headquarters would look at these reviews and make amends.

Same experience. I applied vacation and waiting but they did not show up. Very very unpleasant experience. No one should have this. Took appointment 2 weeks ago. They gave time in the morning but they did not come till noon. I called Sears and informed that I am waiting. They said, they will come in the afternoon. Every one hour I followed up. We hired Sears to clean our sofa and love seat and would never use them again nor allow anyone we know to do so. We just moved into our townhome so we had some items on the couch which he helped remove- wonderful start...that’s about where it ends. We only received protection on the sofa though both should have been protected, when it was pointed out that not all the dog hair had been vacuumed he informed us that we were to do so by hand, he never asked whether or not we were satisfied, and gouged our hardwoods. As if this was not enough, I was charged more than what was quoted over the phone. Heed my warning and stay far away from their cleaning services.

This was the WORST carpet cleaning experience in my 46 years of home owning ever. They don't even warrant one star, but it was the only way I was allowed to post. My carpets were soaked and stayed wet for over 6 days. They became mildew smelling and the master carpet got darker from being wet. The technician sprayed cleaner on my silk drapes (which are now stained), he had to be told to put papers or foam blocks under furniture that he did move (which he wasn't moving & it was very light furniture that I was told he would move), he showed up with no gas in his truck and had to leave for gas to run truck machinery and he had leaky hoses, he was not careful with my belongings. I called Sears and had them come out at the 30 day mark and asked them to send a different technician; they SENT THE SAME GUY; he looked at carpets and immediately said the master looked darker and I had him take pictures of everything; he set up and in less than 30 minutes he said he was done. After checking the carpets again were soaked and refused to let him leave and made him go over sucking up water again. I also found water puddle on the top of a piece of furniture that he had no clue on how it got there (it had to be his leaky hose). I had him send pictures o me that he took of carpet coloring, water stains on drapes and he failed to send me pictures of my carpet and he said he was not sure why he didn't have them and upon asking him to retake them (he refused). I asked him to have a manager call me and they have yet to reach out to me. I strongly advise you do not use them.

On their commercial, it is saying cleaning air duct for 1 unit and 8 vents. So I ordered 2 units and 16 vents for my two story house. But they only cleaned the air ducts, they didn’t clean any vents.

Very dissatisfactory handling of business. Sears did not make it clear to the customer that when technicians come out to homes, bills and charges will have to be paid upfront. We were asking for quote/estimate and then Sears sent a technician to the house, only to be surprised with a huge bill, and even threatened by Sears Customer Care to send cops to the house if not paid that very moment. Never again will we deal with Sears, extremely awful business practice.

Worst Customer Service, very difficult to work with, never on time. I scheduled for carpet cleaning services for Saturday morning with an understanding that they would also try to come a day earlier if possible. After my call(s) they said they cannot make it on Friday. So I was hoping I am still good for Saturday as per my original schedule. Instead there was no show. I called to check what happened and found out that they have rescheduled it for next week Wednesday. Who asked you to reschedule? did you called me to confirm? Wednesday they picked their own time between 11-2pm. Doesn't care whether it works for us or no. Never informed so I had to call and check. Wednesday comes and again leaning towards no show. As I am writing this I get the call around 1:30pm. They are 1 1/2 hr away to come to my place. Since morning we are waiting for them and what was supposed to be an +/- 1 hrs job, ending-up wasting the whole day for us. Now don't know how their cleaning service is? So hold on tight for more updates... But Conclusion: Don't get tempted for 10-20 bucks savings like I did. Save your money, time and frustration and find someone more professional.

I should have read the google reviews instead of the ones on their website. When I got a quote online for cleaning the carpet in one room and deodorizing it the quote was for around $60. When they arrived they charged me their "special" for two rooms and a hall, so I ended up paying over $100. I should have just told them no thanks and sent them on their way at that point. The techs had to use our vinegar on the carpet; I didn't realize we were responsible for supplies they didn't bother to bring. So much for their advanced techniques and chemicals. Basically they did the same things we already tried with our carpet washer. The carpet looked fine when wet, but as soon as it dried it looked the same as before and smelled terrible. I am so glad I paid them extra to "deodorize" the carpet! It smelled so bad we had to go buy arm and hammer powder to put on it. I am not going to bother to have them come again (which supposedly they do for the guarantee) because clearly they didn't know what they were doing the first time.

I have the service on 6/22/2019. It seems all right at first until recently I check my AC unit in the artic and found out the tech cut a half moon hole to see inside the unit for mold and stuff. He did not closed it properly. He only put some short suretap around the opening without the sealant. It already open up and all the black stuffs came out, I don't know for how long. Took some pictures, asked friend to help to closed it properly with longer suretape DC181 and air duct sealant.

1 st time we had Eric Perez at first he seemed great, then he had no deodorant for the carpet it seemed he finished in minutes he said it was because of all his years of experience. For almost 30 minutes we listened to how he is retiring in a few years and how he changed his ways because he used to rip off all his customers off if he thought they were well off. Pitiful experience. Made the appointment 3 weeks in advance, only to have it cancelled the day before they were supposed to show up due to the fact that they "don't clean air vents on Fridays." Really? We then set up another appointment for two weeks later. They overcharged by overcounting the air duct. They also had to come back to clean they left behind first time. I have found no means of responding to your response, so I am adding my comment here. Initially, I was clearly told by the technician that he did not touch the jumpers. I remember this clearly because he did not touch the jumpers and I asked him why he did not clean the jumpers. To be honest with you, I did not know what the jumpers were at the time, then the technician explained what they are and told me he did and do not clean jumpers. Then later I complained about overcharging, because the vent count included the jumpers, I was told by someone that your technicians also cleaned the jumpers. I did not believe your guys and do not believe you now either. In my mind, you clearly overcharged me. The technician came out also confirmed the right duct numbers with me and confirmed that you guys do not clean jumpers.

Could not be more pleased with the professionalism and service provided by Adolpho and James. We first obtained a quote from a competitor to clean the air ducts. Prior to the competitor performing an inspection, we informed the advisor that the evaporator coil and plenum are new as they had recently been replaced. We were quoted $875 to have the air ducts cleaned and $1,465 for a UV filter. The competitor also advised that our unit was undersized for our home and suggested that we replace the entire HVAC system for $9,500. Adolpho and James with Sears came out and performed a similar inspection and informed me that duct cleaning wasn’t necessary because our unit has a new evaporator coil and plenum. Instead, Adolpho recommended deodorizing our system and installing a UV filter. They installed the UV filter and deodorized our system for less than what the competitor quoted just to clean the ducts. It took Adolpho and James less than an hour to complete the service. Great job, great price, and above all, THANK YOU for your honesty and integrity!

I am very disapointed with the tile and grout cleaning from Sears. Their machines don't clean around the edges and corners. There are also several smudge marks left everywhere. We paid 500 for clean floors. They are still dirty after the 2nd visit. We complained after the first visit so they sent someone back out. He came with a few towels but as I run my hand around the corners there is still dirt. He did not reclean the tile as he said that service was already done. What a joke! We have missing tile grout now too by the front door. I guess that's the only area they touched. I would never recommend this company to anyone!

Finally when the men came they were very friendly spoke and apologeized for the rude customer service representive and had told me he would speak to her. When they came to clean the carpet told me he would get all of the stains out with no problem. I believed him! Well when they left the carpet was soaking wet for 2 full days! And I figured once it dried I would be able to see there were no more stains. Well I was wrong!! The stains were still there and the carpet was still dirty! They did not vacuum before there was a quarter on the floor that was not picked up or even moved! I had called them to tell them I was very unsatisfied with there job and wanted someone to come back and clean the carpet again or I would like a refund! They told me the manager would call me back a week later NO ONE called me back and I had to call another carpet cleaning company!!

Great job. Had Sears Clean Houston perform a grout cleaning in our kitchen and the results were fantastic. Britton our cleaning tech explained the process in detail, took measurements, and had me sign-off on the total before starting the cleaning process. The whole process took less than 30 minutes to clean roughly a 170 sq/ft area. Will definitely used this service in the future. Great communication during the process, they called day prior to give you your appointment window and then called with a 30 minutes heads up once the Tech was en-route.

I can't stand to see any specs in the vents at all. But I'm a little OCD. Okay maybe a lot. Overall, I would definitely recommend Sears and this team. The scheduling process was easy. Great staff.

First time trying sears carpet cleaning....didn't know they count bedroom with small closet as 2 items...so price ended up being higher than expected... Also tech (Britton P) said it won't restore furniture dents made on carpet....okay disappointing..... Technician said carpet would dry after 4-6 hrs. - Checked after 4 hrs....still wet 95% - checked after 6 hr still like 90% wet - Checked after 12 hr or so still wet....worried that i might have to call again to have someone come out and run a vaccum again or something. - Checked in the morning, carpet dried like 70%? Will be probably dry in the evening.... Keep in mind - raining throughout the week - turned on fan overnight hoping that help. And it did. (No heat on, ac set at 78) - customer service didn't really helped....just said drying depends on how ventilation is like. Gotta give some hours because how humid weather is like. - i would have waited patiently before calling customer service only if tech didn't say 4-6 hrs to dry carpet.... Overall, i don't like price....i could have gotten much cheaper somewhere else... Secondly, i think technician oversprayed carpet...regardless didn't like how long carpet stayed wet....probably will never use steam carpet using this type of method to clean.

After several years of service from Sears, this year was the worst carpet service I have ever received. I had my carpets, and dryer vent cleaned. It was two separate services on the same day. Upon calling Sears back to express concern about the service, I was made to feel like it was my error that it was somehow my fault the carpet was not done right. They claimed I had stains, in fact, I did which is why I called for service in the first place. I am not complaining about that stain spot; I am complaining that there are visible streaks in the carpet. This is not stains from kids or pets these are streaks from the machine. They would not accept pictures to better understand my complaint sadly, but they are having someone come back out but I still feel like I had to beg and that should never be the case in customer service. I received no apology. It’s truly sad; I am a repeat customer that not only did carpets and vents but upholstery as well, my dining room chairs. If my service is not corrected and cleaned to an acceptable standard, this will change as of today! There are so many other services that leave fliers at my door or send ads through the mail; I have a big selection to choose a new service.

I thought I would use Sears to get out what my Kirby can't but I was wrong. I saw all the great reviews and thought just maybe using a professional would make the difference but it didn't. I also expected the technicians to go over the areas with 2-3 strokes but they didn't. I hope Sears will come back out and do it again to see if that would make a difference.

Very poor service. I just finished the carpet cleaning for 2 rooms and closets. They did it in 10 minuets. Before I schedule the carpet cleaning, I told them there are some pait spots. I asked them will it go? Marivel told me yes everything will go. After they did carpet cleaning I went and check I was shocked. The pait stain is still there. I asked that guy what happened this pint spot he said it won’t go. I thought Sears is the best. Now I understand Sears is the worst!!!! Very disappointed. Please don’t call them for carpet cleaning. Very cheep work. They chargerd me for 2 Rooms and closet for 125$
