I came to Gonstead with awful back pain from herniated discs. I had seen a spinal expert and was given a steroid injection and nerve medication, which helped some but I was still in a lot of pain. Iwas very scared to see a chiropractor so I did a lot of research. I then discovered the Gonstead method. It seemed very helpful for my condition, but also seemed way more precise and gentle than normal techniques, so I made my first appointment. Dr. Choi immediately made me feel comfortable, talking me through every step. I have had extreme success and am continuing to see him.

I now see why this clinic has been around for so man years. I have been to at least 15 chiropractors over the last 20 years and these people took the time to diagnose the issues, explain the issues and how they can be resolved. Truly impressed with the care. The property itself is worth the visit just to see the architecture. It is like walking into a time capsule! In all honesty though, I was impressed with the ability to not just make a few cracks and snaps but to take the time to adjust certain vertebrae. This sounds odd but this is different than most clinics as most chiropractors were never instructed on the ways of Gonstad. This is my first visit and I will be go9ng back. They took x-rays to show which vertebrae needed adjustments versus most practices simply operating blindly with a few guesses and some quick touches. These are true professionals.

In July 2019 Gonstead will become a "Maintenance" practice in order to continually treat their patients. I have been going to Gonstead for 20+ years because they told me to "call us as-needed", and never created/encouraged a continuous treatment program. So I am looking for a new clinic and transferring my records.

Dr. Choi is the best I have had. He never pushes me to see him see him every week. Instead he heals the parts of my back that need adjusting and only asks that i come back when i start feeling pain. Which is what a doctor should do. I origianlly injured my back a year ago and since i started seeing him my visits have been less and less frequent. If you ever see any chiropractor that wants to see you multiple times a week or month they are simply doing it for money. You should only see one if you have pain and Dr. Choi does just that.

This place is frigg’n awesome! So happy with the costumer service with walking in my first time. Staff was very friendly and the office is quite spacious. The intro video was really nice and made me very excited for my treatment. Love that the adjustment was tailored to my needs and they didn’t tell me to come back three times a week for the next three weeks- NO! Doctor told me to touch back in a week and let my body tell me what I need. SO happy with the care there. Plan on continuing my treatment there even though I could go somewhere else that was covered by my insurance. I see they work with a number of insurances, unfortunately just not mine. They offered discounts for patients paying out of pocket. Very appreciative of their time and service and SO impressed.

I came in to see Dr. Ohara for a mid back injury I sustained over the weekend.I haven't had an injury in that part of my back before. He was very thorough in treating me and thought it would be good to get new x rays to help in the diagnosis. After treatment, I went back to work and finished my day. The next day, I woke to barely any pain at all and have never had such a drastic improvement from Chiropractuc care after only one day. I have had various back issues since my bad work injury 11 years ago. This care was top notch! I cant wait to see Dr Ohara again for a follow up, and share the great news with him as well. Mark S.
