Following a weekend of excruciating pain I began searching Monday morning for a chiropractor to find relief. I came across Palmercare and called even though it was still early. To my surprise, someone answered and they told me to come in. I could barely walk but somehow managed to get to the car and drive to their office. By the time I reached the office I could no longer walk and did not know what to do. I called the office and the next thing I knew, Dr. Harrington came out and practically carried me into a treatment room where he talked me into trying acupuncture. This was one of the most amazing moments of my life. Within 10 minutes of him placing the needles, a complete calm overcame my upper torso. Within another 10 minutes, every muscle in my body was was calm, relaxed and pain free. When finished, he instructed me to get up (on my own) which to my surprise I was able to do and even walked out to my car. I am so grateful to have found Dr Harrington. Since opening, Palmercare Chiropractic in Lovettsville has changed my family's life. Really what Dr. Harrigan has done is give my family its life back. My son will be turning 6 soon, and the first 5 years of his life have been spent battling an extreme case of Asthma. We have spent just about every month of his life either visiting the ER, a hospital stay in the peds unit, or extended stays in PICU. Everything seemed to set him off and no medication helped, he struggled to breathe on a daily basis. I sat in jealousy of other parents whose children could run and play with no worries, while I had to stop my sweet boy's giggles from turning to full blown laughter because I knew big belly laughs would send him into a coughing fit which would send him into an asthma attack. I've had to keep him from the playground, limit family vacations, keep him from sports, keep him home from birthday parties (because 5 mins in a bounce house would result in him collapsing) Our lives revolved around the fear of what would set him off next, and would we be able to get to an emergency medication or medical assistance in time. This past June someone recommended Palmercare as a way to treat his asthma. To be honest, I was skeptical, but also desperate to find a solution and figured it couldn't hurt to try. Dr. Harrigan was so kind and thorough at the initial appointment, he directed questions to my son and reassured him that he would find a way to help him feel better, which has allowed my son to feel relaxed and comfortable in the office. I will never forget the moment Dr. Harrigan told my little guy that he wanted him to go home and dream about playing outside just like his sister, without feeling bad. It moved me to tears. Since my son has been getting adjusted we have not had an ER visit, no hospital stays, he plays in the backyard with his big sister and enjoys the playground with his friends. He has started kindergarten and participates in PE and recess with no struggles. He has also joined Cub Scouts and is enjoying outdoor activities like tubing on the Lake with his cousins. Not only has Dr. Harrigan given my son his health, and an enjoyable life to live, he has given me back days without constant worry. My family and I will be forever grateful for what Palmercare Chiropractic has done to improve our lives.

Dr. Harrigan and all the staff at Palmercare in Lovettsville, VA, are awesome. I went in complaining about a few problems. First one and most prominent issue was my leg that had been going numband/or having stabbing pains for 3 years. I started going to Palmercare a couple times a week, and then weekly, and currently I go every other week. I was unable to sleep well at night or stand long because the leg was so bothersome. But it hit me last night that I have not had the leg problem in over a month! Dr. Harrigan's adjustments made it go away! I just couldn't get over how it was all I thought about for 3 years, and just like that it was almost forgot! Not only has the leg thing been solved, but my weak lower back is getting stronger every week, and my posture and all kinds of other things are improving.
