I love the AHW Team. I drive to and from work in CRAZY traffic! My body begin to stiffen and ache. I was losing mobility. I was referred to this amazing miracle Man! I got a prescription from my Doctor and I began treatments. I feel like a kid again!! All my mobility back. One day I left his office and I wanted to run!! American Health and Wellness center has been a GAME CHANGER! I have dealt with chronic low back pain for the past 15 years and 3 months of seeing Dr Petrie, I am completely pain free! I went front not being able to be mobile at times for several days, to now moving completely freely. It’s truly amazing! The staff is wonderful and ALWAYS very polite. I would recommend this center to anyone who is trying to avoid traditional western medicine and relieve your issues naturally.

I absolutely love this office. The staff is extreme caring and very accommodating. I regularly saw Dr. Petrie for migraines. His adjustments were the only thing that gave me relief when my migraines were several. On several occasions, including a very busy Sunday, I called asking to be seen sue to a severe migraine. They ALWAYS were able to get me in and often took me immediately because they knew I was suffering. Amazing care and awesome hours!

I have loved coming here. I have chronic back pain and have been going to Dr. T for a while now and she is fantastic. The fact that she was able to teach me more about my body and even identify an issue that was causing me more back pain is a testament to the knowledge they possess. I typically can't go 2 weeks without coming in. They are exceptional and I continue to go in for routine visits. Even if you don't have any pain, please go and keep your body 100%!!!

After 3 surgical opinions from Inova suggested fusion on my neck, I was pretty discouraged. Im a full-time working mom to a special needs child. I stumbled across American Health & Wellness after suffering with tension headaches for 9 months. Dr. Petrie saw me on the same day and discussed my issues in detail, before starting treatment. I feel much better after each treatment and my headaches have dispersed considerably. I feel confident that my neck and shoulder issues will soon be wholly resolved with his continued diligence. He is extremely personable, empathic and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend his practice to anyone needing Chiropractic services. The whole team are very warm and focused on maximizing the benefits of each visit.

only chiropractor I have used that doesn't assembly line you. they listen and treat you for whatever needs to be treated. I have taken family members there who were visiting and they were seen if not immediately then in a very short time period. their hours are not typical business hours so it is best to call ahead first.

Karl is the man. Knowledgeable, dependable, and able to help those with a variety of conditions. I had back issues that I thought would never go away. I got surgery and was still in so much pain I thought I'd never be able to lift weights again. Karl and his assistants changed that for me as I am now back to 100% and as strong and physically active as ever. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Petrie for helping me get back on my feet and stay active. I believe they were just voted best of Herndon too. They deserve it all the way.

Okay, I lived with pain. Ate with a spoon. Everyday I tried to push through it while my quality of life faded. These folks saved my life, literally. Everytime I hurt myself whether it is training or showeling my driveway they have come through. You hurt, go here, no one will fix you faster with a friendly smile on their face. I couldn't recommend a place more, they have fixed everything I have done to myself ...and quickly. One morning I could barely bend over and they let me in a half hour early...these people care about saving you from yourself. Never been happier to endorse a place than here!!!! Thank you guys .... My go to for chiropractic and injury rehab. Every experience that I have had at AH&WC has been first rate. Dr. Petrie always takes the time to listen to make a well thought out treatment plan. Most importantly, I never feel like I am getting the same treatment twice as his approach is dynamic and it changes as my needs as a patient change. I have seen Dr. Petrie for chiropractic adjustment and also for dry needling and soft tissue work on hamstring strains. Because of his treatment I am comfortably back on my bike and back on my yoga mat! He is truly excellent and I can’t recomend the practice enough.
