I have at least two years of physical therapee on my neck with only limited relief. It included oral steroids, therapee, traction, and finally injection into my neck. My next step would be surgery. I was very skeptical to go to a Chiropractor but it was a last ditch effort before invasive surgery. I am extremely glad that I made my first appointment. Through the analysis, the findings indicated several places along my spine and hips needed adjustment. Again I was skeptical but I moved forward with the adjustment program prescribed. I am now so glad that I did. I still have some pain but it gets less as the program moves forward. I am able to sleep better, move around better, mentally and physically I feel better. In my case this is not a short program but so rewarding after each treatment. I can actually feel the changes being made to my spine. So I say to you that may read this review give Dr. Sommers a chance to analyze your condition. You will not regret that you did. His team is professional along with his office and program.

Dr Sommers and his team are great and really go out of their way. I dont trust just anyone for my health and so I was a bit apprehensive, but I had nothing to worry about. They are very thorough and even give you a tour of the place first, although I was annoyed at first that it might be too lengthy but it was very interesting! Definitely go check them out!

When I went to Dr. Sommers, I had extreme pain in my clavicle and neck. I was unable to workout / weight lift, which I love to do (about 5-6 days / week). I have been going to Dr. Sommers for two years. I had been suffering from a lot of issues. To name a few anxiety & panic attacks, migraine, lymphedema in both legs. sinus pressures, severe hip problem and etc. With Dr. Sommers excellent care and adjustments, I don't have much lymphedema in my legs anymore. Sinus congestion has really improved and not the headache so severe anymore. My hip has improved so much. I had so such pain in both heels and I could hardly walk. I mentioned it to my family physician and he said I needed to lose weight. Well, I let Dr. Sommers know and guess what I was walking without a problem after a couple adjustments. Lovely Staff - Most professional and very sweet - though I never received an adjustment. I called to schedule an appointment and asked if they accepted my insurance (we have MVP Vermont). I was told there should be no issue. I asked still, if they could run my number to assure they would accept MVP, out of respect of both of our invested time. They assured me again, most everyone is covered - I accepted this and schedule my appointment. After I went through the full consultation (which was comprehensive and pleasant), I was then informed I was out of Network and then, of the 89.00 cost for screening, etc. When I arrived, I had spoke with the same girl I did the day before, when I asked if I could get pre-approved. I honestly feel this approach is misleading. I believe they feel their presentation would be so enticing, a potential client would accept the out-of-network expenses. I have asked other establishments to run my card to see if I was covered and this has never been an issue. I offered 3 stars, for they were very pleasant to speak with.

My wife and I looked for a good chiropractor for almost 2 years before just looking at who had the most attractive website. Yes, not a great way to choose a chiropractor, but every other method we tried resulted in not finding the "right" doctor. I knew the benefits of chiropractic care, had a great chiropractor for 6+ years and then moved 500 miles away. And just couldn't find someone we liked and who truly understood our needs & goals. Finding Dr. Sommers, even through an unconventional method, has really changed my quality of life. I didn't realize how tired I was all the time, but I did realize how much back pain I had. My primary care physician wanted to prescribe pain killers, which simply mask the pain and don't address the reason behind the pain. But after a couple of months of seeing Dr. Sommers, he has nearly eliminated the back pain and I have more energy than in a long, long time. Dr. Sommers approach is highly personalized and he takes the time to understand, asks a lot of questions about overall health & goals and answers as many questions as I have. I've never felt even remotely rushed and I appreciate how he explains his plan to achieve my goals. He takes the time to explain what he's doing, even during a routine adjustment, assuring that I understand and have the opportunity to ask any questions. I especially appreciate that before even doing an adjustment, he always asks what's going on -- pain, discomfort, energy level, illness, etc. And he actually hears and listens! I was a major skeptic of chiropractic care until I had such severe back pain that I caved in to my wife's constant suggestions. I felt great before we moved and, now that we found Dr. Sommers, I am well on the way back to feeling even better. Dr. Sommers is truly an answer to prayer for both me and my wife!
