DONT GO ANYWHERE ELSE! These doctors care. Dr. Jay Shetlin, Dr. Woton, Dr. Cleverly, and a shout out to Savanna, Colby and staff! They take the time to understand your individual needs. I have been pessimistic about chiropractors after being moderately injured at my home as a young man by someone who claimed to be a chiropractor. I never thought I would say this, but I now believe every person would benefit from chiropractic care. Whether pre or post injury, South Jordan Chiropractic ROCKS! It is amazing how much better my wife feels since beginning treatments. They have multiple solutions to fit all your chiropractic needs. I recommend them to both professionals and family members.

I have been recommending this office to my friends and family and will continue to do so. I got in a car accident a little over a month ago and have been seen at South Jordan Chiropractic by both doctor Shetlin and Wooten. They are both very knowledgeable, caring and professional. I have noticed in a short amount of time my neck, shoulders and back have improved immensely. Not with just the stiffness and pain I had, but also my posture has become a lot better. By following their recommendation of treatment I have noticed great improvement.

I am looking at these other reviews and am literally baffled! I can't just say how highly dissatisfied I was but what's more disturbing to me was how unethical and unprofessional Dr Shetlin and his office manager were. I had neck pain from an accident and they wanted me on an extensive overboard treatment plan to suck my PIP (auto protection inisurance) completely dry. I tried explaining how ridiculous this was and they wouldn't have it. Every time I came in to their office I was badgered about a A class that they offer that they require you to pay $25 per person and attend in the evening. I don't have time for that so they offered instead a $20 DVD that I had to purchase I was supposed to watch and take notes for my file. How this pertained to my injury I'll never know, but they certainly want patients to promote Jay Shetlin and his lectures. After I put my foot down and refused to do that he started badgering me about my insurance not paying. Which makes sense now, no insurance wants to pay out to ambulance chasers which is exactly what this office is. His staff is his wife and kids which is fine except they want to overbill my insurance in order to keep their pockets full. So when he started in on me about how I must use one of their "certified attorneys" I was appalled! They gave me names of a few sleezy local attorneys they are in bed with which I absolutely refused. Dr Shetlin proceeds to tell me my $3000 PIP won't be enough we need to get lawyers and start going after every penny we can. I was disgusted I couldn't even stomach showing up to my appointments. I made it clear I have an excellent attorney I could use if needed, but I absolutely don't want to overcharge or over bill the insurance and get lawyers involved if not necessary. Dr. Shetlin told me he would have to meet with my attorney before he would agree to work with him which is absolutely ludicrous. He was adamant about using his attorneys in order to take advantage of insurance. That's not the kind of person I am and I refused to continue any treatment with this facility. Just be careful and know what you're getting into with this guy. I hate to say it because he has another Doctor their who was kind and not crazy but Dr Shetlin is an all out quack. It was a stressful experience and to be constantly badgered was so unprofessional I had to write a review to help any other person who blindly googles Chiropractor in South Jordan. Now you have some groundwork and can make your own decision but at least have been warned.

I love Dr. Shetlin and his team! They are all friendly, very easy to work with and to schedule around. I started going about a month ago for constant tension headaches. I have been seeing Doctor Wooten for a back injury I sustained in a car accident. He is phenomenal! Super friendly and knowledgeable. The kindness of everyone there is fantastic and has probably been what gave this place a 5 star rating for me. I haven’t taken any pain medication for this pain and it’s gone away after only a couple months of treatments. The class that Doctor Shetlin taught turned my life around in a good direction as far as my nutrition goes. Overall I’m amazed at the greatness that came out of the terrible pain I WAS experiencing. Dr. Wooten is amazing! I had a pain in my knee that did not allow me to run and work out without a lot of pain. I tried to take a month off to see if the knee would heal, but it still gave me problems. I decided to go see Dr. Wooten. He diagnosed the issue, prescribed treatment and within a month I was back at the gym working out the way I used to without any pain. Dr. Wooten is great to work with and really know a lot about the body and how to heal the body. He is my go-to person whenever I or someone in my family has an ache or pain that will not go away.

The doctor told me my review was lame. Do you want to know what I think is lame?? Keep on reading. The WORST experience I've ever had in my entire life. DO NOT TRUST A WORD THEY SAY!!!! VERY DISHONEST. I was in a car accident that was not my fault and they didn't work with my insurance like they said they would. When the insurance called them, they told them they weren't willing to work with them. "They just wanted to get paid". Savannah would not stop harassing me over the phone although the insurance was working it out. After I called and talked with Savannah she said she “didn’t want to deal with it.” Oh, so you don’t want to do your job? Great. Bad customer service, bad experience, bad humans. Go literally anywhere but here. Lol. And their response is comical. They are truly the most petty, unprofessional company I’ve ever had the disservice to deal with. To reiterate, “I don’t want to deal with this”. Is the most insane customer service response I’ve ever heard. AND I WORK IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. Again, GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE. cheers, my fellow injured humans.

Excellent Intake diagnosis. I was grateful to finally understand the cause of the pain and how to prevent it. They take x rays at their location wich is really convient.They have excellent machines and software. The staff is friendly and helpful. But their greatest asset is educating customers to heal and prevent further injuries. Both doctors are thorough and knowledgeable . They are the best experiences I have had when it comes to chiropractors.

They tried to take me to court. Also they have their lawyer threatening to take legal action against my girlfriend for a negative review. EDIT ON 7/03/2019: For some reason I cant reply to the owners response. But they also forgot to mention the fact they have their lawyer calling and texting my girlfriend to take down her negative google review and threatening multiple times that they will pursue legal action over a google review. They also forgot to mention they tried to take me to court over $230 and some change ( not sure the exact amount but it was in that range ). Instead of calling me or my lawyer they to work things out they thought suing was the best option.

How would you know if I went there? Myrna is my online handle. SMH.... Dr. Wooten seems like a great guy, he gave me a very thorough exam and he even helped me start to alleviate my pain (it'll take some time). But seriously the improvement I felt after just one visit is so encouraging! Phenomenal experience! My wife has been in multiple accidents years ago and never fully recovered. Her body shut down with everything on her plate compiled with the constant pain in her body. Dr. Jay went above and beyond to help get her on track as quickly as possible. We have been on their wellness plan now for almost 6 months, and I have to say that the services they provide is more than just corrective from injuries. It's also preventative. I don't think I truly believed this until recently. We have been on wellness together as a couple once she was done with the corrective visits. I'm a firm believer that regular adjustments, proper diet and supersize can prevent a many of the symptoms that are "prescribed" away by family practice doctors. If you've been in an accident, give these folks a shot, and then get on wellness for a few months to see the difference!

Update 7/3/2019: they tried to sue my boyfriend and I and have had a lawyer constantly contacting me over this review. DO NOT GO HERE. the lawyer is telling me to take down my review or else they will be taking me to court. They told me to edit my review and say that I was confused and don’t know how insurance works. I know how insurance works, the insurance wasn’t the problem here it’s this office. Please save yourself a lot of stress and money and go literally anywhere but here!!!! Wish I could give zero stars. This chiropractic office is a joke. Don’t believe any of the other reviews on here bc they are forced and pressured to give reviews by the chiropractors. All these people want is to take advantage of people who are already in horrible situations. I came to this office because I was in an auto accident and saw how many good reviews this place had. The treatment is an expensive waste of time. You go in there for less than 10 minutes and they charge you hundreds of dollars for those pointless 10 minutes. The doctors also try to force you to go with their lawyer partners and try to scare you and tell you how bad things will be if you don’t hire one of their recommended lawyers. They are also completely inconsiderate of your time and your life outside of filling their pockets with money. I am a full time college student and when I had finals week and had to cancel a few appointments they tried to guilt me and tell me that if I miss an appointment again my insurance will stop paying for my treatment. On top of this they also tacked on a bunch of late fees even when I did call in and reschedule. After finally getting fed up I called into the office and told them I would not be continuing treatment. Then today I get a bill in the mail for over $800 that my insurance won’t cover- even though they never informed me I was even close to going over my PIP like they said they would. PLEASE do not listen to all the other reviews. Save yourself and go ANYWHERE else besides here. (Also- read what the doctor replies under anyone who doesn’t give them 5 stars. They attack anyone who calls them out on who they truely are... can’t wait to see their reply to my post!)

Car accident specialists. Dr. Shetlin and the entire team have the equipment and expertise to help you restore and safeguard your health. They are thorough and give individual focus on each person. I really felt like they cared about me (and I could see their commitment to other patients, too). I highly recommend them for chiropractic care, specialized healing massage, hyperbaric oxygen chamber therapy, etc. They even offer a very affordable ongoing family plan for Weekly adjustments—less than you pay for one adjustment at many places. They do this as a service (no profit at that rate) to help their clients maintain the healing and recovery beyond their initial treatment plan. Highly recommended, especially for car accident or worker’s comp injuries. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
