I have been to multiple General Doctors, Specialists, Pediatricians, Nurse Practitioners, Chiropractors, and even a Naturopathic Doctor whom have allowed me a 10 minute free consultation to chat with and decide whether or not I want to invest my time, energy, and money with that particular medical provider. This has saved me from unnecessary expenses and wasted time through the years. It has also afforded me the ability to judge a good fit and I have been generally pleased with the doctors whom I have chosen through this process.
However, when talking with the Utah Wellness Institute over the phone I am told that I must invest 30-45 minute of my time and an office visit fee just over $100 for a Nurse Practitioner to delve into the nitty-gritty of my health and do lab tests prior to being scheduled to meet with one of the main doctors before I can properly judge and decide whether or not I want to fully invest my time and medical finances with their program.
No matter how much I asked for an easy-going, simple chat with the doctor I was continually informed that I must first invest my time and money before I'm allowed to decided if the fit is right.
