My wife and I were rear ended and went to see Dr. McClean. Gordon has a wonderful bedside manner and explained every procedure. He took multiple x-rays and tried various methods of therapy. However, the polish soon started to wear off. He would rush in to our appointments, and would never mention when we would be done with treatment. I finally just had to tell him I felt fine, otherwise he would have kept setting up new appointments for me. When we first walked into the office they told us to get a lawyer, even though we were not at fault for the accident. After the McClean clinic exhausted our PIP and continued to charge for expensive treatment, we went to see a highly recommended personal injury lawyer who told us "Oh, yes, I've dealt with Gordon before and I don't like the way he does business". Too bad we didn't know that beforehand. Now instead of just being treated for our neck injuries and left to live our lives, we have to deal with a lawsuit just to recover enough extra funds to pay off the treatment we didn't want in the first place! It appears that this is standard operating procedure at the McClean clinic. The staff is helpful and friendly, but if you don't want to have to go to court to recover enough money to pay for them, look for a good physical therapist instead. Additionally, it felt like Dr. McClean would add additional, odd treatments to our weekly regimen just so he could charge us for it. One week he just started using a laser treatment that didn't seem to do anything, and the next week he stopped. Then he did it again two or three weeks later. It was like he was just saying "Hmm, how can I charge them more this visit?" and pulled something new out to try on us so that we'd be billed for it.

I turn to him when I need help alleviating my aches and pains. I appreciate the exercises he recommends for me to do on my own. I’ve been skeptical of chiropractors in the past and am usually too stubborn to see any doctor when I’m in pain. I’ve gotten to know Dr. Devin as a person through business and was convinced by who he is to finally give things a try. I’ve had major neck pain for a while now and on my first visit, he took a couple X-rays and was able to show me exactly what my issues were. It’s one thing to be told you have something wrong with you, it’s an entirely different thing to actually see it — that was very appealing to my naturally skeptical and strictly logical mind. What he explained to me made perfect sense. Needless to say, I’ve been converted. I loved my experience and am anxious to continue to go back for help to get better.

I highly recommend Dr. McKlean! After my accident I was going to another chiropractor but they were not being honest with me and were not giving me all the care I needed to heal. Dr. McKlean listened to me, gave very good adjustments, as well as modern rehab equipment and physical therapy, massage, decompression, E Stem, and acupuncture. Our daughter, who was an out of state patient, received treatment at this clinic for a sports injury. She was very pleased with her treatment and care. My issue is with their billing department. Whenever I called during business hours to discuss the issues THEY were having with our out of state insurance the billing clerk was NEVER available. I've placed numerous calls and left several messages to make sure they had all the proper info for billing our insurance then had to wait DAYS for a return call. I found it ironic that our daughter provided them with all the necessary insurance information and insurance contact information. At one point, I called our in state insurance office to see what McClean Clinic needed to do to bill our insurance correctly to receive payment! It has taken a year to resolve the insurance/billing issue. I called twice earlier this week to see if I could pay our portion of the bill over the phone after finally receiving a billing statement. I received a call back from the billing person, Jill, along with her message today. The billing clerk left a phone number to reach her directly on our answering machine. I promptly returned her call twice (at 9:25 a.m. their time) each time it went unanswered. It has been very frustrating dealing with this clinic's billing department.

Couldn't have been more disappointed with this place. My regular Chiropractor is a lot more of a drive now that I've moved, so I tried to start going here because I was having bad migraines, not to mention I have suffered from scoliosis since I was 14. After a half hearted verbal evaluation as to why I was there, I got the most pathetic, half hearted, and wimpy adjustment I have ever had from a Chiropractor in my life, and it was only a quick adjustment on my neck to try to help my migraines and nothing to address my scoliosis or even evaluate the rest of my bone structure and I felt the same, if not worse after I left, not to mention they bill like the emergency room for every tiny little thing they said or did. On top of that, because it didn't help they told me to come back two days later for another adjustment which I did to give them a second chance and I got nothing more out of it than the previous visit.

I can't say enough good about McClean Chiropractics. I came in yesterday with intense INTENSE shoulder pain. It felt like I was having a contraction with no break for 36+ hours. Dr. Matt took my x-ray and saw a calcium deposit on my bicep tendon. He breathed hope to the situation as he explained that he had worked with other people with similar situations and he could do a microcurrent procedure that could hopefully blast apart the calcium deposit and promote healing. I did that procedure yesterday morning (which is painless), then after going home and as the day progressed the ongoing intense pain I had been having began to subside and I was able to enjoy SLEEP, which I hadn't had the two previous nights. I am returning for a few more microcurrent procedures and look forward to the full use of my right arm again which has been tucked right next to my body and not able to use at all. Today, after two treatments, my pain is gone. Gone. I do have pain if I move my arm more than I should--which only takes a very slight movement, but I'm so glad to at least have slight movement already. I have great hope that I will not need surgery now and feel so grateful to have learned about this procedure. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! McLean Chiropractics!!

You can tell this place and the Chiropracters and massage therapists etc. are dedicated to making you better and finding the root cause behind any issues your having. My first time was an extensive consultation, x-rays, adjustment, e-stem, excercises, physical therapy, consulting among other docs there, all in an effort to make me better. I leave each time with a feeling that I'm getting better, not just adjustment, good for a few days, let's do it again and never really fix the problem so you have to come back! They have taught me excercises I can do at home, and I feel it's working. That's the chiropractic side... Massage therapist side... I've had massages from both of their massage therapists, and they are both great! But "Maurei" (I think that's how his name is spelled) Is hands down the best massage therapist I have ever been to! He has a talent and it shows... I have had previous massages from male massage therapists (6 or 7) and there really hasn't been anything that stands out enough with them for me not to prefer a woman massage therapist (I'm a guy). I don't like being massaged by another guy, it's something I'm not comfortable with. But Maurei is amazing and I will go to him any time he's available! That's a pretty big deal coming from me. Anyways, like I said before the guy has a gift and I feel relaxed and loose, but also like I have had any knots or problem areas worked on and improved. I have probably had over 300 massages throughout my life and at least 30 different massage therapist work on me, and he is hands down the best I've ever been to by a long shot! This place is great and they are a great price too.

This is the best chiropractor I've been to in Provo. The office is clean and comfortable and the service is excellent. It's nice to go to a chiropractic clinic that has more than one piece of equipment to help with recovery and treatment. McClean Chiropractic has a room bigger than most chiropractor's offices filled with the stuff and they know how to use it effectively.

I have been going to the McClean Clinic for a couple months now. I started when I was 36 weeks pregnant. It helped my back aches and I am still going there. They are very kind, knowledgeable, and flexible. Right after having my baby there were times where I had to call last second because I could no longer come due to a hungry baby. They graciously persisted I make another appointment later that day. Also there were times I only had a small time frame to come in and they made sure I was out on time. I see Gordon and he takes the time to hear you out and even gets to know you. I highly recommend coming here.

My son who is 2 years old got nurse-maid's elbow. He was in pain and would not move his arm. We were misdiagnosed at the Provo Instacare, telling us nothing was wrong with him and a pediatrician told us it was a dislocation but he couldn't get it back in. No orthopedic would see is in a reasonable amount of time so I called McClean Chiropractic. They were VERY nice and got us in the same day. The doctor was very thorough and although he couldn't see the nurse-maid's elbow on the X-ray he felt the muscles and tendons and he could really tell something was wrong. After a few minutes he popped the elbow back and my son was as good as new. We will definitely go back and refer them to everyone.

My brother is a chiropractor, so I know the business. I went with an out-of-line neck expecting a few simple manual adjustments and maybe a couple of follow-ups. Instead, I was trapped in this office for nearly three hours -- mostly waiting around -- and then put on a series of machines that did nothing, absolutely nothing, for me, and told to schedule another appointment. No attempt to actually adjust my neck.

Great service! I had a lower back pain that was getting worse when I tried to do some exercise to the point that I couldn't sit down, or walk normal without having a lot of pain. After visiting the chiropractor for the time that was needed for me to recover, I can move normal, sit down, run and exercise again. Also, the people that work are awesome. I've been to a few chiropractors and always felt like their offices were outdated, cheap, and like they were surviving on a shoestring budget. I've also felt like the doctors/staff were frankly a little hokey and even a little unscientific. They also asked all sorts of awkward and random - almost too personal/psychiatric - questions. I just want my back fixed! McClean Chiropractic is the OPPOSITE. As soon as I walked in I was honestly surprised. It's incredibly pleasant, clean, professional, classy, and modern. Yet, also very friendly at the same time! I hurt my back at work, and even though I've hurt my back before, this was by far the worst occurrence. The evaluation was thorough, everything was well explained, and then they got to work fixing it. Now obviously every person/situation is different, but my back felt almost 95% normal in less than a week after 3 visits. I'm a fan and have already recommended them to other friends and family members. Couldn't be happier with my experience.

I have been going to Dr. Matt McClean for a lower back issue that I have had for over five years. I have been to several other chiropractors, as well as two physical therapists with no progress on healing the problem. The first day I went in and saw Dr. Matt he identified the problem and had a simple exercise that would help to bring it back into alignment. He is very gentle in his adjustments, adjusts only what needs adjustment. My lower back is feeling great and I only go in when I feel like I need it. I also got some great orthotics and my feet feel great. To top it all off we don't have insurance that covers this and their cash price is very affordable. Dr. Gordon McClean has done a great job for me. I have visited many chiropractors about my neck pain and arm numbness, and have got very little to no results. Some even tried to keep me coming after months of not getting any real relief!! Dr. McClean after just 2 weeks has made a real difference!! I am now sleeping well at night again. This problem was so bad I had to cancel school this last semester, but thanks to Dr. McClean I am registered again and ready to start in a month! There are a plethera of Chiropractors in practically every city in America, but finding one that really knows what they are doing is vitally important. I had been having some neck pain for about 3 weeks and went here because of the good reviews. After my first visit, the chiropractor hurried off before I had a chance to ask any questions and just told me to come back in a couple days. I came back, he popped some joints again and sent me on my way again with no actual fix for my pain, just a suggestion to come back and let them pop my joints again. I realized that this was just a scam to get me to keep coming and stopped going. 2.5 months later I was charged $226 For an x ray and to have my joints popped twice. This place is a total joke.

Please do not go here. My brother went here for some massage treatments and Dr. McClean treated him with about anything he could charge him for. Then he adjusted my brother's neck and tore 3 discs in his neck. My brother is now bed bound for most of his life. He dropped out of college because he couldn't attend classes and now can't even work. On top of that I watched McClean lie to the jury about what actually happened. I was there and witnessed things and McClean just straight up lied about it in court. You cannot trust these people with your money or your body. Do not make the mistake my brother did by going there. He will never be the same.
