Dr Bodkin and staff are true professionals in their field. At True Wellness on Shallowford Rd they have treated both my husband and I for post accident treatments as well as simple maintenance adjustments. They cater the treatment to your specific needs and don't use the simple "1 treatment fits all" approach many other chiropractor offices use (which is super annoying and feels a little ripoff-ish honestly). They use all forms of rehab equipment and technology. This place is legit and I've quit looking for other offices. I'm staying here and would recommend it to anyone else.

I had severe headaches two years ago , saw the ad in a magazine about True Wellness! Dr Bodkin exrayed my neck , and showed my head was going forward! Ears should be lining up with my shoulders! Way off, causing tension in my shoulders and pads gone in my neck , amazing how much relief I have had! Allergies also causes them some! Then last month , my right hip was in pain and knee! Even walked in with a cane a few weeks ago and with treatment , no cane since! Better and better! And Carpel tunnel is better! Low and behold, under the care of Dr. Taylor I have found the pain to be coming from a muscle problem in my leg. With the teams help at HealthSource the pain is not as intense as it once was. When I first went to Truewellness I could barely walk my lower back pain was so bad. On my first day Dr.Bodkin spent a lot of time with me figuring out what the problem was and the best way to fix it. I did 20 sessions of spinal decompression and by my 12th visit I was pain free. I have chronic back pain and have for many years now. I've had pain management doctors and chiropractors who believe I'm in enough pain to keep making me appointments but not enough for them to do any paperwork. I've even been told that not going to work because of back pain is like saying you are unable to work because you have a headache and they don't believe in FMLA. Dr. Bodkin knew exactly what was wrong with me and the pain I was dealing with. My supervisor suggested intermittent FMLA; my manager later suggested continuous and short term disability. Both required paperwork from Dr. Bodkin. Our company later switched who we were using for FMLA and it required another set of paperwork. He has been very patient with me and not once made me feel like a burden during the process. He really cares about you as a person.

I have seen several chiropractors over the years, but, until visiting HealthSource, every chiropractor did the same thing, doing what they thought I needed, adjusting my spine, rarely asking what problem(s) I had, after the first visit. On the other hand, HealthSource is interested in addressing both ongoing and new problems. One of the biggest benefits of my visits is the spinal decompression, using the DRX 9000. Having several disks that are either compressed or bulging and decompression helps both, through a series of treatments, moving vertebrae into a more natural alignment, reducing back pain and improving range of motion. As for the staff at HealthSource, everyone is both professional and friendly. Everyone acts like one big happy family and you are never a stranger, being welcomed into the family.

To get started I have and am still dealing with an overuse injury to my shoulder from being a raft guide. I went to Tru Wellness off of a recommendation from a nursing student in my class. After finding no relief for over 6 months, I went to Tru Wellness and met Dr. Bodkins. Dr.B highly impressed me by explaining to me what he thought my issue was before he looked at the X ray. Dr. Bodkins hit the diagnosis right on the head and showed me some Physical therapy exercises that have been correcting my shoulder issues. I am new to receiving chiropractic care. I had some fears about it simply bc I had no experience. Dr Bodkin spent time addressing all my concerns before anything else. My experience was great, and it turned out for me that all my worries were completely unnecessary. I have noticed some positive benefits already and am very happy to receive regular treatment going forward. One specific benefit is I had a grinding in my left hip when I would lift my knee from a standing position. Warming up before working out would be slightly painful, although I've basically ignored it for years. After my first adjustment at true wellness the grinding stopped. In the back of my mind I thought the grinding would always get worse over time and eventually cause problems. Problem solved! My biggest concern was if getting adjusted is painful. At no time did I experience even the slightest amount of pain.

Who would have thought that a Chiropractic center could treat Plantar Fasciitis! I happened to run into one of their doctor and mentioned I had been suffering with it for a few months. He said come by his office. I have started treatment and rehab and have been pain free since starting (not healed - just resting my foot, taking my treatments, and doing my exercises. They are giving me ultrasound and cold fusion treatments and have me on some stretching and strengthening exercises.
