I was suffering from Sciatica in the left leg and I consulted a doctor at Rothman who gave me a prescription for an oral steroid and recommended physical therapy. My wait to start the therapy was nearly two weeks out and that is when I contacted Dr. Fish and his team at Genesis. I was in such severe pain that I couldn't stand long enough for my x-rays to be taken. I could barely feel my left calf and my toes were completely numb. I was on pain killers for about three weeks but I am completely off of them today. Dr. Fish consulted me and recommended that I complete a 12 week, 36 treatment program to get me back in pain-free form. I made a personal decision and canceled my physical therapy at Rothman and worked with Genesis at that very moment. Today was just my 12th treatment that includes adjustments to my neck, hip, and back, physical therapy with Keith, getting stretched on the DRX9000 and ending with stimulation. Today is my 10th day in a row of being completely pain-free. I can't believe the results and I am so happy. Cher and Michelle are so helpful and the service is always prompt, no waiting. Dr. Fish genuinely cares about his patients and he will be happier than you when you say, "the pain is gone!"

I've been going to Tom Holley for close to 3 years now and I've never felt better. When I first started, I had trouble picking up my daughter (who was 3 at the time) without major pains in my back. He did an xray and showed me exactly what was wrong, the reason I was having the pain and the plan to get rid of it. He put me on a schedule starting at 2 days a week - this moved to 1 day a week, to twice a month, to monthly. At this point I probably go about once every other month or so and I feel great. I travel over 40 minutes to get here because I believe this is the best. My wife had issues and went somewhere local and did not get the same treatment, so now she started seeing him and in just a month has felt much better. It's not just the treatment I get from him - he educates you as well, so that you know exactly what is happening and what he is doing to help. I can't say enough about this clinic and I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for chiropractic service to go to Genesis.

I have been coming here for about 4 months due to an extreme and debilitating pain in my lower back from whenever I would drive anywhere. Dr. Fish was able to take xrays, identify the cause of the pain (which ended up being 3 sublimations in my back in total), and through using a series of PT, decompression, adjustments and stim work, was able to completely get rid of the sublimation in only 3 months. I cannot recommend him enough, as well as the hospitable office. Keith is a top notch trainer that knows exactly when to push you and how far and the front desk of Michele and Jess is always welcoming with a smile on their face. This place didn't just fix my lower pack pain, they gave me my mobility back, and as a dad of three little kids, that's absolutely invaluable.

Genesis Chiropractic has been above and beyond all my expectations. Dr. Fish is a master at his craft, and his staff is the best around. As soon as you walk in the door, Michelle greets me by name and there is never a long wait to get adjusted even if they seem to be busy. I recently signed up for the 8 week wellness program because i've been eating poorly and my energy level has diminished greatly. I've become so far out of shape that i can't even exercise yet to try to get back into shape. I've been on this program for a week so far and the results have been tremendous. Keith the trainer, along with the advice from Dr Fish have slowly begun to put me on a stretching program for 3 weeks so that i can begin to exercise after i get my muscles functioning properly again. I've had a few trainers in the past, but Keith tops them all. He is the best of the best. He knows how hard to push me so that i get the results without injuring myself or being in pain the next day. This 8 week wellness program also comes with a book with great recipes. It's very easy to follow and it tells you what you can and can not eat. The food has been easy to make, and most importantly, it tastes great too. There are lots of options and each week more and more food is available for me to eat. I haven't been hungry once, and I've lost 10 pounds my first week and my energy level is much better. Cher has been very helpful in answering any questions i've had with regards to this 8 week wellness program. She is upbeat and very positive and a pleasure to work with. I'm writing this review because i'm not the type of person that has a lot of will power, but this program works great, is easy to follow, doesn't cost that much, and has already in just a short time period, given me a more positive outlook on life. If i can do this, then you definitely can too. I feel 100% better and look forward to my two visits per week. I started going to Genesis because they were close to my office, and I had such pain that I was on crutches walking in there. I was off crutches in no time, and have a plan to make sure I keep my back healthy. I have had a wonderful experience at Genesis Chiropractic! I first started with Dr. Fish about a year and a half ago with multiple back and neck pains due to arthritis. After some time I had improved greatly and was much more comfortable. I had thrown my back out and could not even stand up straight and Dr. Fish did his "magic" and corrected my problem. More recently I developed psiatica and was not only in great pain but also had much difficulty walking and standing up straight. Again Dr. Fish and Keith worked their magic and now I am feeling wonderful and pain free. If you had asked me years ago if I would have ever sought chiropractic manipulation as an orthopedic measure I would have said a resounding "no"! I was referred to Dr. Fish by another chiropractor. After 20 years of back pain I was skeptical of another chiropractor but after grinding down my back in the Marine Corps, the VA was opting for surgery. I figured I had nothing to lose. Simply put, Dr. Fish isn't "another chiropractor". His knowledge of how the back works and how we incur injuries is next level. His approach to rehabilitation goes way beyond a simple adjustment. The man's a genius. He repaired 20 years of chronic back pain and leg numbness in a few sessions. I went from worrying about ending up in a wheelchair to being as active as I was in my 20's in about 2 months of sessions. The entire Genesis staff is exceptional. Everyone there is warm and personable and at the same time very professional and very much invested in your well being. It's hard to explain how much I appreciate what Dr. Fish and his staff have done for me but they very realistically gave me my life back.

1 Star is simply regarding their understanding of insurance claims and billing. I felt completely at east during treatment. Due to their, intentional, or unintentional "double dipping," I received a full refund, the physicians office eliminated as an in network provider, and allegedly American Specialty Health submitted a written warning to the practice. Initially when discussing treatment, the practitioner, Dr Gene Fish, informed me "my plan sucked" due to the $3000 deductible. Stated that the cost of 12 weeks, 2 visits per week of treatment would cost $1000+ but if I paid in full, would be reduced to $881. I agreed to the cost and went to the front desk. When informing Michelle that I had an HRA with $400 that would automatically deduct when the insurance was billed, requested that they bill the insurance and charge my card for the other half once the HRA was depleted, after several requests she continued to ask, "So you want me to bill your card now?" I reluctantly accepted the charges. Treatment began, and with every claim processed the charge of $50.61 would be withdrawn, for "adjustments." During treatment there was a Physical Therapy portion, but that never appeared on the EOB. I received the EOBs, but when I inquired to Michelle she indicated that the office had not received the EOBs to verify they were paid via HRA. Fast forward to the end of the treatment, my $400 HRA was depleted along with $881 of my personal money. After 12 treatments, each costing $50.61 according to the EOBs, I inquired if the extra money paid was to cover the PT portion, because it was "not covered." Michelle confirmed, yes. However, PT was never billed, so there was not way of knowing if the insurance wouldn't cover that portion. I did receive a refund from the practitioner of $260 and change for the difference, 12 x 50.61 and my total charged $881, however, there was still the $400 from my HRA given to the chiropractor's office. I called my insurance's medical department, and they informed me that the Payment Plan I signed, violated the contract between the office and the insurance because it did not state that I was aware I was paying for services that were not covered in the office. A quality of service/ quality of care complaint was opened by my insurance, Cigna and ultimately removed the office as an In Network Provider starting mid January 2019 Additionally, American Specialty Health issued me the remaining out of pocket funds, so I have received all of my $881 originally paid. However, my insurance did indicate that the HRA would not be refunded. I only hope that my insurance recovers any funds they have lost to the office due to this billing issue. Again, the treatment received was professional and comfortable. My negative review of the office is just regarding the billing issue.

Dr. Fish is very accurate and precise with both his diagnosis and treatment plan. I came in with tension in my neck unable to move my head, but within hours of being adjusted I felt so much better. He put me on a plan to work on my muscle tension as a whole, not just quickly fix the symptom I had that represented a much larger problem. His physical therapist, Keith, implements a good variety of exercises to build strength and regain mobility for the affected muscles. The women at the front desk are so much more than office secretaries. They are friendly and fun to talk to as well as great assistants in carrying out Dr. Fish’s mission to help his patients be as healthy as possible and maintain that health. I am so grateful to them for how they work so well together and prioritize me and my health needs!

I came to see Dr. Fish for a problem with my left hip. It was extremely tight, stiff and weak after over-exerting to lift a heavy suitcase. The problem was affecting the entire left side of my body, knee, ankle, shoulder and neck. After three initial sessions to determine the course of treatment, I was already feeling much better. This review is long over due. I cannot speak directly to the care given in this office since I never got treatment. I came to Genesis seeking relief for neck pain. I came in for my first visit and had to schedule another appointment for my evaluation. I had to find a babysitter twice just to get checked out before I would even get close to being adjusted. After my evaluation, I finally was adjusted one time and was given a care plan of what my subsequent visits should be. I was told my insurance would be billed but the insurance would not cover my entire treatment plan. I was told I had to pay 3 payments of about $300 or 2 payments of $650 or a one time discounted payment of $900. After much thought I decided this was too much money to pay out all at once and I asked if I could be billed after each visit instead. The receptionist said she would speak to the Dr and get back to me. Guess what? I never heard back! Do not go to this place! It does not seem like they are interested at all in your well being, health, or if you are in pain! All they want is your money!!!!!

Lets start by saying the staff is soooo great! I love them all. They are warm and welcoming. Ive been going there for years and Gene has been my saving grace! Between all the pinched nerves....and my sciatic nerve acting up every other month....if it wasnt for him id still be in agony. Which for a mom of 2.....i dont have time for. Lol. Also, my 70 year old mother had 2 herniated discs. She could barely get around! Could barely sleep. She started to see Gene multiple times a month and went to Keith who taught her exercises and stretches to help her regain her strength at a pace she could handle. They are a great team. Since I moved to PA a few years ago, I was struggling to find a chiropractor that could fix my neck and shoulder pain. When I discovered Genesis, it was a godsend. I mainly see Dr Tom and regular visits with him keep my neck and shoulders in good shape, even though I work long hours at a computer. And if I miss a few regular appointments, and have a neck emergency, they always find a way to squeeze me in. I more recently have seen them to deal with hip pain due to being pregnant and Dr Tom had lots of helpful hints as well for how to manage my hip pain between visits. After several visits, the longest I've waited in the waiting room is less than 2 minutes and then I'm up and methodically moved through my recovery program. I love everything about Genesis Chiropractor and that is why I have been going there for almost 10 years. It all began because of a recurring lower back problem that was the result of an early car accident. I was determined to find a fix that didn’t involve medication or surgery, and that turns out to have been the right choice for me, not just for my initial problem but for all the aches and pains that come with stress and age. Regular adjustments and massages keep everything in running order. I always joke, but it’s true, that I go in every two weeks to be wound up so I can go back out there again. Michelle is always so friendly, happy and helpful; she always makes me smile.
