I have been a regular patient with Dr. Shad McLagan and the massage therapists at Oregon Wellness center for over a year now after a car accident I had. They all give great care with a personal touch. The receptionist is super warm and friendly always remembering your name and personal details. They were super accommodating to my unbelievably packed schedule even at their expense. I've sent many of my friends and family to their office and will continue doing so. They've got everything in the one office, Massage, Chiropractic, Acupuncture & Diet and Weight control programs.

I've been a regular patient at the Oregon Wellness Center for a year now. I had injured my knee while training, and it prevented me from running the 2014 Portland Marathon. Regular adjustments and heat laser therapy have been key to my rehabilitation. When I began seeing Dr. McLagan I was only able to do 3 mile runs, and now I'm back to marathon training! I appreciate that Dr. McLagan takes his time and listens to me. He has encouraged and helped me be more patient in my recovery to ensure I do not get reinjured. The entire staff at OWC is very personable and professional. My interaction with the team is always a pleasant experience.

I have significantly decreased my symptoms and have enjoyed long runs with clear lungs! What I was even more impressed with was how Katie has been able to help our son; he has had night terrors and sleep disturbances, eczema and allergies and after his first session of acupuncture (acupressure for him) he finally slept peacefully through the night - as did I! She goes over the symptoms you are currently experiencing and their possible underlying causes; she listens well and cares for each patient. I originally went here for a massage, which was a great experience and kept me coming back monthly. Eventually I also started getting chiropractic services for dislocated ribs/back pain. My experience with Dr. McLagan was wonderful! He is great at what he does and provided very great and professional services. Not only that, but it was the only time I found relief from my back pain. The Dr. and staff at Oregon Wellness Center are amazing. They are very knowledgeable, helpful, and genuine. I began treatment after having a car accident back in August and noticed an improvement after my very first session. Heidi, the massage therapist, is wonderful and very skilled at what she does. Dr. Mclagan is very gentle and professional. I've had experiences with other chiropractic offices that don't measure up to the kind of care and attention I've received at this office. I'm a Chiropractor and this is the kind of clinic a doctor would go to for care. I was rear-ended by a semi in 2018 driving with my pregnant wife(!) to her check-up at Kaiser Sunnyside. I sought care from Dr. McLagan for neck, back, and leg pain. Not only a very funny and personable man, but a very knowledgeable and effective clinician. I had significant relief after only the first treatment, and continued to improve with my treatment plan. I highly recommend Oregon Wellness Center.

I have been going to OWC for years. I have long-term pain from a neck injury long ago and my visits to OWC keep me functioning in a very stressful job with a child at home. Then my car was rear-ended and my back was injured. Dr. MacLagan's work on my body along with the amazing massages by Heidi and Nancy provided incredible relief. I was back to normal after a few months and continue to go once a month because my body craves the treatments. The staff is always fun and funny and I always leave more relaxed than any other time of the week.

Feeling incapacitated from an old injury I found Oregon Wellness Center on the CHP network. The Chiropractor Dr. MacLagan quickly diagnosed the issue. Using traction, laser and 2 other pieces of modern equipment, I am improving quite a bit. I've been to a chiropractor before who was OK but old school. Dr. MacLagan is very modern and up to date on the latest techniques. His assistant Wendy is also very good at what she does. I also enjoy our conversations about vegan cuisine. In addition to the chiropractic, I've been receiving acupuncture from Katie. She takes great care in zeroing in on the problem through pointed questions and a special way of taking a pulse that helps indicate the areas needing therapy. The electro therapy she provides is an excellent way to stimulate the afflicted areas. Katie has also used moxabustion and essential oils on my in our sessions. Katie regular furthers her education which helps her to be on the cutting edge of her profession.

The Oregon Wellness Center is truly one of a kind. I began coming here for acupuncture for neck and shoulder pain and could tell immediately the acupuncturist wanted to fix the underlying cause and not just put a bandaid over the pain. Update: It is 2016 and I am still seeing Dr. McLagan for my chronic back issues. I honestly will not go anywhere else. He and his staff are phenomenal! I highly recommend Dr. McLagan for chiropractic care! I've been seeing him for a few years now and every time I have a problem, he fixes me right up...they always find a way to squeeze me in, even at the last minute. I wouldn't see anyone else! His staff is always friendly and helpful, and Heidi is one of the best massage therapists around.

I’ve used chiropractic services for years and had the same doctor for years. After moving to OR and having a bad experience with a different company, I was referred to OWC by a friend. With so much experience of prior treatment I’ve come to know my body and needs very well. It was refreshing to have the doctor trust this. He did an assessment and create a plan according to my needs and preferences. He didn’t push products or unnecessary visits like other places I’ve been to. He was great at suggesting different self-care plans that were realistic to my lifestyle. To top it off everyone is kind and does a great job of making me feel comfortable and welcome. Each room is also set up to create a relaxing environment with nice scents and music. As an athlete I’m incredibly picky about my health care and Oregon Wellness Center exceeds my expectations. I would recommend this business to anyone looking for chiropractic care.

I went to the Oregon Wellness Center a few times for chiropractic work on my lower back. I’ve had issues for years where my lower back always causes pain. The techniques they use here, although I’m not familiar with other offices and how they do things, seemed to really help me. I only stopped going because of insurance issues that had nothing to do with the center at all. If I could get my insurance figured out I would absolutely come back!

If there was one word I can use to describe my experience here it would be amazing. I started going here in 2012 for a car accident related injury. I was able to have chiropractic work done as well as massage and acupuncture with out traveling to three different places. Super friendly, great for the whole family. They are very flexible and are more then willing to work with you. I have been to many different places before but this is by far the nicest, family friendly environment and I would recommend it to anyone!!!!!! Thank you guys for all that you do !!

I've been to several different Chiropractic clinicians over the years, but I've now stopped looking for better ones, since I found Dr McLagan and the Oregon Wellness Center. I've had sciatica and degenerative disc issues for years, and Dr McLagan and his staff always help me with my discomfort. I've received chiropractic treatment, massage therapy, and even acupuncture--a thing I never thought I would do! Not only are all of the team at Oregon Wellness Center skilled at what they practice, they're all really cool people! I actually often will linger and chat with them after my appointments, and it's actually one of my favorite ways to spend a morning on my day off; no joke! If you have any sort of condition that causes you discomfort, I absolutely recommend going to OWC and seeking their help and/or advice. Do yourself a favor!

I have been going to Oregon Wellness Center since before Dr. Mc Lagan took over the practice. I was very please with how he has continued the fine Chiropractic care I expected and also how he has brought great positive energy with complete therapeutic care that has helped me continue to deal with aging and the minor injuries that occur, with quicker healing time than if I had not come in for treatment. Service: a contribution to the welfare of others. Disposal for use. A helpful act. Saying that Oregon Wellness Center offers good service would be a lie. It wouldn't be true to what I know. They offer SUPERIOR service. I came in to Oregon Wellness Center with low expectations. I had been in pain for some time because my last chiropractor decided to close up shop, leaving me with no clue on where to go next. Because of this experience, I admit I was not in a good mood at my first appointment. In my mind, I needed to get better as soon as possible, to get back to my life and routine. It was frustrating. I was direct with Dr. McLagan. Asking a million questions trying to get to the bottom of what was ailing me. Although my demeanor, he and Wendy (the coolest assistant ever) treated me with kindness and answered all my questions. Again, sorry Doc! Thanks for putting up with me! Several adjustments and treatments later, not only am I feeling better, but since I don't have to go in as often, I miss the staff. Yes, the doctor's cheesy jokes, Jocelyn's humor and genuine kindness, Wendy's weekend plans, Angelique's amazingly curative hands, Anthony's outlook on life, and Rachel's sweet stories of her baby girl. You become part of them, and they truly care for you and your quality of life. Yes people, it's a family there. One you want to be a part of. Don't think twice.

The massage therapist even worked really well and willingly around my 2 week old baby while I was on the table, very accomodating.
