This just wasn’t the place for me. Everyone was super friendly getting everything set up for my first adjustment. The first appointment is your X-ray and telling them your concerns. The second appointment is where they lost me. The adjustment last for 2 minutes and wasn’t comfortable. I’ve seen many other chiropractors who take 30+ minutes for an adjustment. I feel like this doctor didn’t take the proper time to get to know my body. He just snapped and cracked me and sent me on my way. It felt like walking through a revolving door. There were several people lined up waiting for their 2 minute adjustment when I walked out. They also want you to come to an hour long appointment to watch a presentation about chiropractic medicine.

Where to start? How about when you open the door and you are greeted by the wonderful smell of the season (candles, I think?) Anyway, then you are greeted by your first name from Becky. She's quick with a smile and is genuinely interested in how you are doing. She is efficient and professional making sure everything is in order to make your visits go smoothly. The office hours are split which makes it easy to fit an appointment in during the morning or after work in the evenings. Then you see Dr. Chad. When I first started going there I had limited motion with my neck. After the first week of adjustments I noticed an immediate improvement. Dr. Chad is soft spoken, has a great sense of humor, he's careful with the adjustments and treats you more as a friend than a patient. This is my first experience going to a chiropractor and I would highly recommend them to anyone who hasn't gone to one before and are feeling hesitant to do so. Or if you aren't satisfied with the chiropractor you are currently seeing then I highly recommend going to Dr. Chad.

I have thought about this for almost a week before I decided to post this review, in truth. When looking for a chiropractor I browsed for good reviews like I do anything. They had an overwhelming amount of 5 stars so I figured I could not go wrong! They did get me in quick, and the lady/ladies up front are wonderful, but from there it seems to go downhill with everything else. First time in they did x-rays and said they will review them and adjust me the next day. Okay, sounds right since I have never been to one. When checking out I started noticing all these signs EVERYWHERE that say "Give us a 5 star review and get $10 off your visit". Then things started making sense to me but I still don't know anything yet being it's my first time. Of course, since my first visit of them getting me right in, and buying the biofreeze, I wanted to save money and originally gave 5 stars to save. Here is where everything starts going downhill... So I go in the next day ,and of course, instantly start asking questions about my x-rays because I was curious what was found/seen. They wouldn't tell me anything except "it will all make sense when we go over this at your next appointment". NEXT APPOINTMENT?! So still being curious I ask other questions and get the same dang answer, next appointment. At this point they gave you a piece of paper telling you to bring your loved one, family, spouse to go over it all. The paper explains about how you will learn about your condition and how to treat it. This makes me think something is actually wrong. So almost a week goes by and we are given a late appointment of 6pm. When we go in we both notice the place is pretty packed and all the sudden chairs start getting put in a circle like a AA meeting. The other "Dr", from the other clinic comes in, then stands in front of a TV like he is teaching a class asking questions everyone knows but it's to involve the crowd. At this point it feels like you are at some seminar! After 60 mins of him saying he does this because he doesn't have enough time to spend with each patient, which isn't a good thing to start with, they call you back one by one into the rooms and basically try and sale you a package like it's a timeshare! I was blown away by this and their approach on the whole thing. At this point you feel like a revolving dollar in their pockets. They tell you it's not about the money, and they "care", but when you state you just don't have enough time for each patient, that's not good. Make time in my opinion. The times I did go in they put you on a roller table for 2 mins, pop your back, take your money, and send you on the way. You are in and out 10-15 mins at most. With all that being said, I want someone to see an honest review of someone who wants the truth of it out there on how they operate. I have changed Chiropractors to the Muse clinic in Moore and couldn't be happier. You actually feel like you are getting something done. It is almost like a relaxing spa line you go through. They have several different stages, and rooms, and things they do as far as procedures. The nurses use different types of devices on your back, including a massage therapist to relax your muscles and work out knots, all before they adjust you. Then even after the adjust you have a few more procedures they do to help relax your bad areas or areas of pain. It is about a 45 min to 1 hour of spending time with you and not taking your money as fast as they can. Please take the time to really consider my review, and your options, before you become sucked in to a "package". It's unfortunate that this review will probably be buried by all the people doing like I did to save a few dollars.

I went in with no major issues. I was just hoping to maintain spinal health and improve my posture/mobility. However, after a few adjustments I found my back constantly sore. I was given the biofreeze for the soreness after my first appointment but it continued after 3 - 4 adjustments. So I was hoping to inquire how long this should be experienced when it came time for my xray review appointment - 6pm on Tuesday night. I walked in for the appointment and there were about 10 other people in the waiting room. As opposed to taking a simple 15 minutes to discuss my personal information, I sat through an hour long presentation about how American doctors treat only our symptoms with medications and how surgery can be prevented when you take care of your spine and see a chiropractor... I think only 1 - 2 slides of this 30 - 45 minute long presentation applied to me. But then after that presentation, I waited in the waiting room while 4 - 5 other patients were taken into the treatment room and their x-rays were discussed. I was then told in my short 5 minute appt. (THAT I WAITED AN HOUR AND A HALF FOR) that I needed to come in 3 times a week for 4 weeks and would need to shell out 1200 dollars for treatment of the issues they found on my x-ray. Not what I expected. Nothing was personalized, I even informed the staff that I was interested in going to chiropractic school. Nothing was explained to me - reasons for performing particular adjustments. And I now a few weeks out, I have new pain and soreness in my back since being seen here.

Then you experience this "electronic massage bed" that you don't want to get off of, but you must see the Doctor. Dr. Chad is awesome!!! I had never received Chiropractic services like this before. I’m adding a update to my previous review. My job has taken me away for awhile and I just recently have been able to get back in to the chiropractor. I hurt myself while I was away and had to start new care. They did X-rays and exam and I went to review over them Tuesday after Dr. Chad was done seeing patients. The doctors took time to explain exactly what they were doing and I had time to ask the questions I had. The previous person’s review stated that it was a waste of time, I guess it personal preferences. I want to be informed and I want to know exactly how much my entire bill is upfront. You can go to the cheapo depo chiropractor down the street who cracks you and sends you on your way, I prefer going to someone that I am confident took the time to plan out my care and I’m not left in the dark on what’s going on. I’ve seen my fair share of chiropractors and I can tell you this, you will not find another office that cares as much ,and does as much for their patients than this place. This is the first time I’ve actually given a review online but this place deserves the time for me to say how great they are. I’ve been to other chiropractors before and this office has been the best. My daughter started going here during her second pregnancy and would tell me how much better she felt versus her first pregnancy when she didn’t see a chiropractor. I’ve never really gotten much out of chiropractors but decided to give them a try after I hurt my back. After awhile, I could move better than I have in years. I’m completely sold now and I tell everyone I can about this office. I even carry around their business cards.

I have gone to three other chiropractors but at Thrive Chiropractic I found a great step up in quality of care. First, x rays are taken here. It is very clear what needs to be done. Second, a treatment plan is made. None of the "off the cuff" treatments that seems to be the standard at other chiropractors. I know exactly what we are trying to accomplish. You never wait here. The staff could not be better or more friendly. At other chiropractor offices, there always was confusion about whether or not charges were submitted to my insurance. All is taken care of here in a professional, efficient manner. This truly is the best place to come for quality chiropractic care.

This was my first time to go to a Chiropractor and they made me feel very comfortable. They walked me through everything and what they were going to do next. I told him where I was hurting and he took x-rays, did an evaluation on my back and did a pre-adjustment where he felt needed it.
