Basler Family Chiropractic has been great for my family and I. As a mother it has been an integral part of my “self care” routine; which is so important for moms to make a priority. Dr. Basler and his staff are amazing. I have been a customer for almost two years now and have seen definite improvement with my back. MY second pregnancy was significantly more comfortable and I owe a lot of that to regular visits with Dr. Basler. Pregnancy and parenthood does a number on our bodies as women and it is so nice to have help in keeping my body comfortable, better aligned, and more functional with the help of Dr. Basler. I started going to Dr. Basler about 5 months ago after finding out from my regular Doctor that he thought we should do Spinal Surgery due to the fact that I could not lift my right arm above my shoulder. Even if I lifted it up with my left arm it would just fall down. When the regular Dr. told me at my Appt. why would I take a chance and mess up my spine more by going to a Chiropractor. It seemed like the thing to do... give it a bit if it didn't get better go back to the regular dr. Almost 5 months later 3 times a week of going to Dr. Basler, I have full mobility in my right arm, a small amount of lingering numbness in my numb and finger next to it but I will take it! Identifying, educating, and treating chronic INFLAMMATION in the Central Nervous System; which dictates ALL other health issues in our bodies; is the CORE purpose of Dr. Basler and his team! Dr. Basler discovered that I have a shattered vertebrae, that I had been completely unaware of, and my body has been trying to compensate for this injury for years. The damage I had continued to inflict, unaware, caused radiated inflammation, pain and symptoms I would have NEVER associated with this trauma. But the tide is turning now on MAJOR health concerns that had seemed hopeless to treat after so many failed attempts to heal and be whole. I was injured in a motor vehicle crash way back in 1981 as a Colorado State Trooper. I sustained cervical and thoracic injuries after my patrol car was struck in the rear end. After being told by a neurosurgeon he could no longer do anything else for me I started seeing a chiropractor. For me at the time surgery was out of the question and most likely would have ended my law enforcement career. Over the years I was transferred to several duty stations as a result of my job. Each time I was transferred I saw different chiropractors who used various chiropractic techniques. After retiring from the Colorado State Patrol, I became an international police office contracted by the Department of State from 2000 to 2010 and as a Field Security Manager for Kellogg Brown and Root, contracted by the Department of Defense from 2010 to 2011. While working as an international police officer in Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan. Again, I was again injured, this time my lumbar spine. The injuries were caused by improvised explosive devices, 6 in total. As a result, I had to have my L3 to L5 fused. However, the pain although reduced by the surgery became chronic. After completing missions in the Middle East and moving from Colorado to Kalispell in continued with chiropractic services. The chiropractor I used after moving to Kalispell became an impasse for me with no foreseen progress, I needed a change. After consultation with my primary doctor I started therapy which helped but only lasted a few weeks. Again, I concluded I needed to find a quality chiropractor and conducted personal research which lead me to Basler Family Chiropractic. They use the Gonstead chiropractic method to adjust not manipulate the spine. I am amazed how well this system works in comparison to other methods of chiropractic’s which have been utilized on my behalf for many years. Gonstead is the gold mark of chiropractic and Gasler Family Chiropractic is the best in my opinion. Doctors C Claude Basler and Erik Lund are outstanding chiropractors, both using the Gonstead method or as Dr Basler says we are both Cheese Burgers, all the same. Dr Basler is my chiropractor and Dr Lund are my wife’s chiropractor. Their facility is exquisite, well maintained, , managed and the atmosphere is beyond reproach as are the staff. They even have a play area for kids at their facility. You will see all walks of life there, kids, dogs accompanying patients, families, young and old. I could not be happier and plan on using Basler Family Chiropractic for the foreseen future.

I have had years of back pain and after it recently had me on the couch by the end of the day, I decided to see a chiropractor. I am SO glad I found Dr. Basler!! I have not been to a chiropractor before him and I can't believe the results of my pain free back after just 3 visits. Gonstead Practice is the way! I highly recommend to come here if your tired of going to other chiropractors and not getting any better. The time I’ve been here my hip, back, and neck gave me problems powerlifting. Ever since I started getting my specific adjustments my posture and lifts have gotten way better and with that my strength has increased tremendously on proper form. The atmosphere and employees are amazing and always keep it fun at the office, especially the doctor. Everyday I go in I learn something new about health or just a simple fun fact. I’ve been to several Chiropractors both in the valley and out of state and no one comes close to the type of care, healing, education and understanding of body and health like Dr. Basler! I’ve had migraines and headaches since I was little due to gymnastics and because all I knew back then was go to the Dr and take pills that’s what I did. Until I learned about alternative medicine. I found Dr Basler through the VA and he’s close to my work. Last week I woke up with a migraine, something I hadn’t had in over 8 months. It wasn’t going away and luckily I had an appointment for later that day. I went in told him about my migraine, this time he adjusted my neck differently then in previous sessions and in 1 HOUR the migraine was completely gone!!!

It is hard to be sure chiropractic care could actually do anything for you before you go. And then you go to some guy and it's ok. And THEN you go and find a GREAT chiropractor and it changes your life! I don't mean his personally because, meh...I mean, my experience has taught me that the desire to help and ability to help rarely go together. But I have found it here. Problems: hip pain, back pain, fatigue, unknown asthma triggers, and extreme stress. All chronic pain: gone. Which helps me sleep. Which helps my fatigue. Which helps my stress. No other life factors have changed, in fact my life is technically more stressful and crazy than before, just now there is relief! Then there's the asthma... ... So, I just have seasonal asthma, usually only triggered by spring, exertion, and animal allergy. Once I start an attack, only an inhaler will stop it or hours of suffering while I try to control it with coffee and slow breathing because my inhaler is at home. I think it has been six months of going to Dr. Basler and no random asthma attacks anymore. Also places that always triggered them (like families with dogs) don't anymore. Every once in awhile, if I miss a few appointments, one will begin, but it will go away without the aid of my inhaler. I've never had that kind of freedom before. It's beyond words. I am not a doctor or a medical journal, chiropractic care has just worked for me. Amazingly worked for me. I hope it will work for you too. (Also, contrary to what I said earlier, Dr. Basler has a very nice personality and some of the best front desk ladies ever).

I have been getting adjusted by Dr. Basler for a few months now and have noticed a tremendous change in my body. Being a massage therapist, I know how important it is to keep the body (especially the spine) in motion because it is the best way to keep our brain healthy (Neuroplasticity), plus getting adjusted regularly keeps your body in a proper, balanced alignment and prevents injuries. I am very pleased with the personable experience and adjustments that are very direct and precise to what I need and thankful that I have a chiropractor whom I trust 100%. I’ve been going to Dr. Basler for 8 months now after moving to Kalispell earlier this year and have had a great experience. I initially sought out chiropractic care a few years back after suffering a sports injury…and of course only after I neglected to get it treated until the condition had worsened. I’ve seen a number of chiropractors since then, mostly good experiences that have absolutely improved my condition. However, there seemed to be a certain plateau that I would hit with my past treatment that I felt was below where I wanted to be with my goal of running another half-marathon. What has stood out in my time with Dr. Basler is the focus and preciseness he brings to his care. There’s no cookie-cutter treatment, he really tries to identify the root cause of the issue and focus specifically on that without any other fluff. Based on his own assessment and feedback from you on how your body is responding, it feels like a team effort to achieve those steps forward towards improvement. When it comes to recommending chiropractic care to a friend or family it can be tricky. I don’t know their circumstances, their body, their feelings or past experiences with chiropractors. All I know is that it’s been beneficial to me and my quality of life. And when it comes to chiropractors, just like anything else, there’s good ones, bad ones, and somewhere in between. So with that said, if you have a desire to improve your current condition, whatever that may be, you can do far worse than visiting Dr. Basler and hearing his thoughts and plans on how he can work with you to help you improve and reach your personal goals. He’s one of the good ones.

My husband started seeing Dr. Basler almost 2 years ago. During one of his earlier visits Dr. B noticed that he had a prescription bottle for his seasonal allergies (which were awful - red, runny eyes; congestion; runny nose; sneezing...). Dr. B asked him if he could adjust him for his allergies. My husband of course said "sure". I was more than skeptical - I mean allergies have nothing to do with your spine, right?! They have to do with how you're programmed! WRONG!!! My husband has not had to have ANY allergy medication for the last 2 summers!!! I stand corrected & completely shocked! We have now taken both of our kids to be treated by Dr. B and love the positive results we've seen with both of them as well. Basler Family Chiropractic has absolutely changed my life. Three months ago the many years of neglect and an extremely stressful 8 months left me in extreme agony and feeling helpless. I was no longer able to run after my toddler, function at work, do simple household chores. Hi I'm Terry and after being rear ended in my car while stopped at a stoplight I acquired pretty sever whiplash and with it accompanying pain and head aches which really became almost unbearable after a few days. I went to Dr. Basler and the after initial exam and he studied the results I began treatments. That was at the end of March and after a few treatments my headaches subsided and after a few short months both the pain and headaches a virtually gone. I have almost no pain and have full mobility to the point I can comfortably drive even when something causes me to suddenly turn my head to the side. I'm now playing sports and golf with almost no painful repercussions. Dr Basler has been wonderful with our baby. Every time I come in I see a change in our babie’s digestion. Whenever I see that baby GW is struggling with his tummy we go in for an adjustment and things go back to normal! I firmly believe that Chiropractic can help even the smallest of patients. I had heard of the Gonstead method of chiropractic care and wanted to check it out but kept making excuses to not go in. I finally had to address my problems when I started having arm pain and weakness that became so bad I couldn’t hold my babies for more than 5 min at a time. When I was a teenager I had some slight pain in my lower back. My young brain at the time thought it was nothing because "I was too young to have problems like an old man". So as the years went on, I ignored it as it came and went because "this must be because I'm still growing". Finally at age 25, the pain was coming more often and more painful. My wife (who was already seeing Dr. Basler for regular check ups) insisted that I go and at least get checked. After a few conversations at the office and some thought on the subject I went in and am extremely glad I did. Dr. Basler took X-rays and went over the paperwork I filled out and I learned a lot of problems I had growing up such as my Anxiety, Depression, major ADHD problems were linked to my issue which turned out to be a congenital defect in my spine. I have now been going for a few months and am not only experiencing my lower back pain has gone away, but also my anxiety has gone down, I am having a better time focusing and any sign of depression has completely disappeared. Over all I feel better than I ever have thanks to Dr. Basler and his office. My hope to everyone else looking for a chiropractor, is to go and get checked and get your life on the right track to successful health. Originally, I was seeking chiropractor help due to pain in my ear, jaw, neck and shoulder that would turn into migraine that would go on for days. I suffered from this condition for over a year and it started to be unbearable to the point where I couldn’t sleep. I was very fearful and reluctant. Adjustments to my spine scared me more than I can express. I proclaimed I would never allow another chiropractor to adjust my neck and spine ever again. I had suffered from regular back pain with severe, unbearable back spasms on occasion. My neck was always stiff and painful. I had a plethora of other symptoms as well, including digestive disorder. I allowed a few chiropractors in the past to adjust me as they claimed they could relieve my pain right away. They performed standard adjustments which provided z-e-r-o relief and made me even more fearful. I had concluded chiropractic care was not for me. My husband and I discovered Basler Family Chiropractic as I was looking for a chiropractor for my husband who also suffered from chronic, severe back and neck pain. But unlike me, he enjoyed chiropractic adjustments. He claimed the adjustments helped, yet he was never, ever better. I was very skeptical, and for good reason. We have been patients of Dr. Basler for over a year and both my husband and I are feeling tremendous relief from our previous chronic back and neck pain. Many of my symptoms have improved and some are gone all together. The Gonstead method of chiropractic care used by Dr. Basler is very specific to the patient. There are no “standard” adjustments, only adjustments needed to align the vertebrae, relieve and eliminate symptoms, and promote a healthy central nervous system. Dr. Basler evaluates our spines with every visit. He answers our questions and teaches us about our bodies’ way of communicating when something within our spine is out of place. My fear of adjustment still exists, though I’d like to say it is better. However, it is very much worth that moment of deep-rooted fear, which I know in my rational mind is unfounded, for improved health and well-being provided by Dr. Basler’s quick and focused techniques. I knew that being a violin and viola player, string teacher, and avid outdoors adventurer was hard on my body, but it took persistent shooting nerve pain in my left arm and shoulder to finally persuade me to go see Dr. Basler in June. I even bought a couple of anatomy books to read more about our Creator's amazing design of the human body, and am learning that chiropractic care is not just for "sick" people, it's for EVERYONE! We all get bumps in the road, but even when I contracted a nasty viral rash all over my face and neck, he warmly welcomed me in and adjusted my atlas again that evening for an extra immune boost. (The specificity of the Gonstead method is amazing!) Two days later, while I was traveling out of state, he sent me an email to ask how I was doing. That says a lot for a busy doctor. Both Dr. Basler and his staff are friendly, professional, fun-loving, and have hearts the size of Montana’s Big Sky! Rebecca, Tori, and Jan are the "face" of Basler Family Chiropractic, and make each patient feel like a friend when they walk in the door. And they always try hard to fit appointments around flexible schedules like mine! I have been going here for about 2 months now after having bad sciatica and low back pain. I was training for a powerlifting meet and lifting super heavy weights and this helped me be able to continue with minimal pain and fixed my form when my hips were in alignment for squats. Also, I’ve suffered from heartburn for about 2 years now and been on all the meds and had all kinds of tests and procedures for it and since coming here, I’ve noticed my heartburn has been a lot better.

Friendly staff and great environment. Dr Basler, in my opinion, is the best chiropractor not only because he's the only one who has actually worked wonders for me, and you can ask him anything. He almost always has answers and when he doesn't he will research it and get back to you. He loves questions! His knowledge is not only related to his chiropractic care (as in just the bones, which most assume) but the nervous system and its cause and effect nature. I started coming in April consistently. I was having trouble walking, climbing stairs, and probably looked drunk now and again as I would lose my balance. The problem was in the lumbar area causing the hips and legs to be weak. The other day, I felt like I might be strong enough to manage "The Event" on Sunday. I knew I could be biting off more than I could chew, but for my 4 year old granddaughter, I was willing to give it a shot. Sundays, The Event is winding down, so I parked where the horse trailers were (bad girl), there by shortening my walk to where I could tell an event was happening. I was able to climb the short little hill to see down into the course. We just happened to be at strategic time to watch the last few riders completing in a short course of jumps. Then it turned out that we were in the prefect spot to watch the awards given and in the shade. Yea! After that, we got off the little hill went to the potties right there and then walked up past the little bridge to find the face painting. We didn't find that, but we did find the pony rides. She was the last one they took. Then we grabbed a mountain berry bowl for a snack before we walked back to see the next event at the same course. It was a hit for my granddaughter This was not a bunch of walking and it was broke up, but for me, it was a miracle. Not only did I do it, but without feeling like I was going to be out of commission for several days, and I kept my balance. I didn't fall down the hill. This would have been too much for me at the beginning of the year. I am so grateful for having found the Basler Family Chiropractic! Besides, the doctor is a kick in the pants and the atmosphere in the office is cheerful and energizing. They are a great team! They always greet you like you are part of their team too. A big 5 stars!!

I had a sudden onset of allergies that were getting worse by the day, and after the ear, nose and throat doc told me the only thing that would help was allergy medication ($650 later), I knew I had to find an answer. Not only has Dr. Basler helped my allergies tremendously, but I've also been on medication for essential tremors for years that he had helped to the point that I am prescription drug free! The office staff is very freindly and helpful. My son was actually seeing Dr. Basler for his neck pain and we were seeing great results. But I should have been seeing him the whole time as well. I have been suffering from severe vertigo that has put me into the Er and urgent care. My episodes would hit when it was my monthly time and the dizzyness would last 1-3 weeks and this was happening consistently for the last 4 months. It has been AWFUL it was lasting day and night, some days worse than others but never going away. I was extremely dizzy one day when I had taken my son in for and ajustment and I asked Dr. Basler if he could help that and he said yes while giving me the look of get your butt in here... I made my appointment and I wont look back. I have only had 7 adjustments but after starting my period this month I am vertigo free so far. I was told by the er and the urgent care there is really nothing that can be done for me... Dr. Basler has been amazing! I am one to get overwhelmed and start to think the worst but he reassures me and walks me through everything. I will send anyone I know to him. He treats every persons care uniquely and you can see that once you go in. Im very excited to see how I feel in the next few months.

I've been going to Dr. Basler for a little over a month now and I am seeing great results. I've suffered from headaches/migraines and neck pain for many years. I've tried physical therapy, massage therapy, medications, etc and never seem to get any relief. It is amazing what the adjustments can do to your body. I recently floated the Flathead River and had terrible neck pain and a headache the next day to the point where I thought about taking the afternoon off work...I went to see Dr. Basler and after my adjustment, I felt SO MUCH BETTER (no headache or neck pain) and enjoyed my afternoon at work.
