VERY INTELLIGENT and VERY PROFESSIONAL Doctor! He has me back running races and participating in life again pain free! I can't thank Dr Doty and his amazing staff enough for all the great care and concern. So rare to find a doctor these days that listens & treats you so well. He's incredibly intelligent and truly understands how the human body works and can get you feeling healthy & well in no time! I highly recommend Dr Doty, don't wait another day, get to living healthy & pain free!

Dr. Doty is amazing! I have been going to him for years and he helps me whenever my back and neck are hurting. Last spring, my back was bothering me due to the high mileage I was running while training for a marathon. One visit made all the pain go away and I was able to run the Boston Marathon pain-free. My parents see him regularly as well. There are other chiropractors’ offices that are closer to us, but we feel there is nobody better than Dr. Doty. He is a great listener, something that is not always the case with doctors, and he takes his time with his patients. He has been a wonderful chiropractor and I give him my highest recommendation.

Dr Doty saw me twice, in May of 2012. The first time, he talked in detail about another patient’s sexual dysfunction, which I considered disturbing, creepy, and a violation of privacy. The second time, he discussed an article on the internet he had read about 12 year olds engaging in oral sex in movie theaters. I did NOT return to this Dr a third time. Although I told the staff I had a $20 dollar co pay, they told me "not to worry about it" both times. MORE THAN 5 MONTHS LATER, I received a bill for them for $80 dollars. I contacted them by email on 10/20/12 and no one responded to me. This Dr is UNPROFESSIONAL, and his billing practices are UNPROFESSIONAL. I urge you not to go to this chiropractor; I have a hard time believing I am the only one he has talked to in this manner, and your private problems may be openly discussed in front of other patients.

Dr. Doty has been treating my scoliosis for four years and I highly recommend him for that or any of your back problems. He is not only knowledgeable, but also extremely accommodating! Dr. Doty is a miracle worker!! I have been having so much pain from my SI joint being out of place and causing havoc for my feet, hips, and back. This is also a problem because I am a ICU nurse and am doing a lot of lifting and walking at work. Dr. Doty was able to adjust my hips back into alignment and gave me ideas on how to help it stay in place!! I was able to relax and sleep so good after having so much pain for 6 months! I was so glad my friend recommended him!!! He is so qualified and kind that I do not mind the drive from Leawood. Dr. Doty’s bedside manner is so professional and kind. He really cares about his patients. I will be a patient for life!! Thank you Dr Doty!!

He is extremely knowledgeable and answers all of my questions in a way that I can understand them (not too much medical jargon). I went for sacroilliac joint pain. While going over my xrays with me the chiropractor needlessly alarmed me by focusing at length on the part of my spine located next to my heart, talking about what a "great service" he'd provided to others by referring them because of heart problems caused by some type of spinal deformity next to their hearts. When I questioned him about this and also some terminology he used, he said my spine in that area was fine and added somewhat condescendingly that he'd stop using techical terms and just tell me what he planned to do for me. I received one painful adjustment after which my lower back felt much worse than before which I had not been forewarned might happen and am, at this time, not sure was even necessary. The arthritis in my neck, however, felt slightly improved after he stretched it. He also speaks very fast which, for me in this situation, only added to my sense of unease. While I'm not an experienced chiropractic patient (I've been to chiropractors 3 times before in my life) I concluded this was not a good fit for me.

Dr Doty and his staff are amazing!! I went to him because I kept getting migraines and I couldn’t take it. Dr Doty came in and explained everything to me to put me at ease because I had never been to a chiropractor before. He explained my X-ray to me, very helpful. I walked out of there feeling amazing!!! My migraine went away!!! I am now going once a week to keep my neck and spine in check. The best part about his office is that the wait time is less than 10 minutes. You’re in and out feeling like new again!

Everyone at the office listens and cares. Very friendly staff and Dr. They do their best to make it affordable for people like me who do not have insurance that will cover this type of care. I recommend them to anyone who needs a chiropractor. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is because I wish they were open on the weekends also, sometimes this can be an issue with my work schedule.
