Between 1994 and 1999 I was in my doctors office about every 3 months with intense sharp pain every time I moved. It seemed to radiate from my neck to my shoulder blades. Each time they prescribed muscle relaxers and anti inflammatories. The pain would subside after about a week. Then someone said go to a chiropractor. I was hesitant because of all the horror stories. Out of desperation I went to see Mary Martin. After a 20 minutes appointment of an adjustment and being put on a roller table I had full function and no pain. Just a little soreness, but heck I had that after a week on the prescriptions. Turns out I have a nerve that tends to get pinched in my neck that makes the pain radiate down to my shoulder blade. After years of being on light duty for weeks at a time,taking muscle relaxers and anti inflammatories, it's now a 20 minute appointment and I'm back to my daily activities. My out of pocket expense was less than the prescriptions from the medical doctor. It was a win win situation. Pain free in minutes and same out of pocket expense for an adjustment as the doctors prescriptions. When I was transferred out of state I used a different chiropractor , they were OK but not the same results as Mary Martin. and I ended up driving over 250 miles to see Mary Martin on several occasions.
