Great staff! Great therapy! I had a lot of pain in my neck and mid-back, I did some online research of providers in my network and Garvey Back and Neck had high reviews. I now understand why! Dr. Garvey and staff have helped me in relieving the pain and I am back on the road to recovery. Having a nurse practitioner on the staff for me is like killing 2 birds with 1 stone, I can see her for other medical care.

This clinic has helped me substantially. From when I started with a compressed disc, each and every visit has helped alleviate my pain more. I tried using a different doctor locally and the quality and efficiency was just not the same. I literally drive almost an hour weekly to make it to see Dr. Garvey. The Clinic staff are great but this was my very first experience with a chiropractor and it was less than what I imagined. I am a student and went in over my spring break for some sporadic back pains that happens to occur every so often but not interfere with my quality of life. Dr. Garvery was nice but did not go into any details regarding my x-ray results and kept asking me if I were in a car accident, which I have not been. Upon a brief chat about why I was there, he proceeded to get me an x-ray done and after the two x-rays, I proceeded to head in another room for electro therapy. Upon getting the probes placed on my shoulder, another lady up front stated to the young lady assisting me that Dr. Garvey requested more pictures of my x-rays, so we proceeded back into the to take two more x-rays. After returning to the room, I received the electro therapy (from which I really did not understand why I was receiving this treatment). Upon leaving, I was hit with a bill that I was unaware of I was being charged (because back home, insurance covers the whole bill) because I thought that this served as a preliminary consultation. Upon paying, I scheduled to come back for the next day to discuss my x-ray results. Turns out, Dr. Garvey briefly went through my x-ray and ushered me in another room where another one of the assistants was there to great me with setting up my 20 visit plan to re-shift my bones. Upon hearing receiving the price, they pretty much persistently insisted that I sign up for the laser therapy treatment. I decided that I would try it out that day and before I did, the assistant was trying to gauge whether or not I was going to file through my insurance or not (she was actually hinting that I sign up for treatment without my insurance) and then proceeded to tell me about the previous bill I was unaware I had acquired for those two extra x-rays that "Dr. Garvey" ordered out of nowhere. After consulting with my parent, they informed me that this chiropractic is out of order. Back home, the market is flooded with chiropractors and this was very horrible service according to them. Long story short, I will make sure that I thoroughly research who I spend/waste my time and money on. They are about upselling and making money. Although, the staff is extremely nice, I would not recommend to anyone now that I know what I know.

I have been having severe neck and back pain for years. My neck for 3yrs and my back for about 20yrs. To be honest I was more worried about my neck, because it was causing Migraines and I was starting to not be able to function because of the pain. I saw a promotion on Facebook and I took the chance that maybe Dr. Garby could help. Well I have seen Dr.Garby and his staff for 2 weeks now. For the first time in years I haven't had a migraine in a week and my back feels so much better. I still have a ways to go, but I'm very impressed. Other Drs I have been too just wanted to give me pills which didnt work. Dr. Garby combines adjustment, therapy, and nurse which works. Give them a try after all what can it hurt see for yourself.

I have dealt with severe back and neck pain for over 30 years. I had assumed that I would always be in pain for the rest of my life. My pain had progressed to the point to where I could barely move my upper body. My nurse practitioner also believed this constant restriction created a trigger and environment for my migraines. Frustrated at myself for not doing something about this pain earlier, I finally made an appointment with a chiropractor, Dr. Daniel Garvey. After the initial consultation to Garvey Back and Neck Clinic, I discovered I had a whiplash injury that was never treated. Unfortunately I had developed degenerative disc disease in my cervical spine. Nothing short of surgery could cure this degeneration. Dr. Garvey told me that while he could not cure my condition, he was confident he could slow down the progression and treat my pain. I have been a patient for over two months now and I cannot believe the difference in my body. Through adjustments and physical therapy exercises I have almost full range of motion of my neck and my lower back pain is almost non-existent. Improvement just does not even describe what has happened! Dr. Garvey and his staff are compassionate, knowledgeable, reliable, and professional. I have a new outlook on my condition, including my migraines. Armed with new physical health, I can now be a better me!

Let me explain why I am giving a five star rating. Everything I am going to say is 100% true, because I was a nonbeliever a few months ago. I have had seven visits up until this point with Dr. GARVEY. My first three visits, I did not think it was worth it, my pain got worse for a few days. I've been dealing with back pain for five years now. Everyone said I am faking it or I am "too young" for back issues. I received an exray on my first visit. I was consulted the very next day. He has readjusted my back and neck several times, that mixed with the professional physical therapy this office offers has completely changed my life. I can sit, stand and run again without pain. I am relieved. Your spine dictates a lot more than just your back. Do yourself a favor, and get fixed. I couldn't recommend a more professional, and hospitable office if I could. My life is forever changed, i am active again, and I love everything about my physical wellbeing now.

I stood up and felt a shooting pain from my back extending down my left leg. The pain was incredible. It increased in severity so I went to the ER. I was told I hurt my sciatica . They prescribed muscle relaxants, pain meds and steroids . In 6-12 weeks I would be feeling better, or so I was told. The relief was minimal and temporary. My life began to change. I was confined to my home. I could no longer sit or bend. Walking and standing were difficult. Nearly 3 months into this nightmare, I knew I could take no more. I had never been to a chiropractor but decided to give one a try. My family and I chose Dr Garvey because his location was convenient for me. In pain and utterly discouraged, I walked into his office. I was greeted by a very friendly and warm staff. So much so, that I broke into tears telling them of my situation. I was treated with such compassion. Upon meeting Dr Garvey, I found a professional, capable and confident man who assured me I made the right decision to come to the chiropractor. After xrays and an examination, he told me he could help me. Two of my discs had collapsed with my sciatica pinched in between them. With treatment, he said he could separate the disc and give relief to the sciatica. I went from hopelessness to a guarded hope. Within two weeks I changed completely. I can, sit, walk, stand and bend. I am almost done with treatment now. I no longer need hope. I live in a reality that the treatment worked. No meds either. I have my normal life back. I highly recommend Garvey Wellness Clinic. Dr. Garvey and all his staff are knowledgeable and nice. I started going to Garvey Wellness Clinic in November 2018 through recommendation of my massage therapist. I was suffering from really bad neck and shoulder problems that have worsened over the years. My neck was making a grinding sound and sensation when turning my head. Lost almost all range of motion to the left. Pain and spasms at the base of my skull every day which turned into migraine headaches frequently. Dr. Garvey’s treatment plan included adjustments, rehab exercises at the clinic, and neck decompression. Within 2 months of their care, my neck and shoulder condition got into a manageable state and I have been able to gradually lower my frequency of visit since then to once every 3-4 weeks. I have gone a month without pain and have regained almost full range of motion in my neck. Most people may be skeptical but if you need the relief and help, I would strongly recommend you give them a try.

I went to Dr. Garvey in 2013. I Worked in the auto industry and could no longer perform my duties due to severe back pain. I was told elsewhere that it will require surgery. Clinical expertise is good, and Dr. Garvey takes an integrated approach which seems to incorporate best practices. I would say this is a great clinic to go to if you are in pain, you will be in good hands with Dr. Garvey. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because some of the office staff are terse, unfriendly, and unhelpful. I'm not sure if they just don't like their jobs or are bored, but just be prepared to get some attitude if you ask questions or don't magically know how to navigate their practice from the get go. On the other hand, there are other staff members that are extremely helpful, friendly, kind, and patient. Initially reading the reviews before going, I guess I had the expectation with such high marks that the experience would be more consistent and high quality. I'm giving 4 stars in the hopes that the practice will see this as constructive feedback and try to correct it, because I like the clinic and want to be able to recommend it to others without having to explain its shortcomings.

I had recently tweaked my lower back around Christmas. I had severe pain radiating from my lower back on my right ride, down my right hip, all the way down my right leg. I could not even put my socks on or even walk upright properly. I couldn't even walk or sit for more than a couple of minutes. The pain was unbearable and I was referred by a friend to go get checked out at Dr. Garvey's office. Dr. Garvey consulted me on treatment and was very knowledgeable about my specific back pain. He set me up with a schedule that fit my work schedule and a payment plan to fulfill my financial situation. I had no insurance and they treated me as well as someone who did. They treated me with the upmost care and were very nice to me. Chauncy, Brittany, and Adrian were the best getting my pain down to being able to walk again. Thank you so much guys. I loved the physical therapy I received from Chauncy and Brittany, very professional and super duper awesome people to spend my mornings with. I am 95% better in 3 months of care. Roughly 4 years ago I had developed pain in my hip and lower back. The pain was so intense, that I had difficulty driving, sitting all day at work, even getting our of bed was painful. Even before this, I developed the occasional shooting pain down my leg, mainly while driving for long distances....looking back, that was a warning sign that something was not right. If anyone reading this is experiencing similar shooting sensations down one leg or the other, I recommend a visit to Dr Garvey. My wife had been visiting the clinic for treatment of a lower back injury and insisted I get treatment, as well. Dr. Dan started me on a once-a-day visit for therapy, followed by every-other day, once a week, etc, over a course of 2-3 months. The treatments , along with exercises to do at home, really began to make a difference after the first few days and eventually I was pain free within weeks. After my initial therapy program was complete, I would come in about every 5-6 weeks for treatments. If I waited too long between visits, I could feel the twinges and pain returning. These days I come in once a month for an adjustment and compression treatment, and have remained pain free. I highly recommend Garvey Back and Neck Clinic for Chiropractic treatment. Dr. Garvey and his staff are top notch.

I started seeing Dr.Garvey in December 2018. I had been battling sciatica since April. The pain in my left leg/buttock was excruciating! My daily activities were limited as the pain grew more intense. I had to leave work for 5mths dealing with it. I tried everything from massages to cryotherapy. Nothing helped. I was told I needed Microdiscetomy surgery to relieve the herniated/compressed discs (L5-S1) by an ortho specialist. Fast forward to Dr.Garvey & his team...I've only had 6 visits thus far & have started feeling GREAT!! I'm following Doc's advice, doing my physical therapy & decompression. I've had trigger point therapy with Adrian also. Adjustments with Dr.Garvey helps tremendously! I'm halfway through with my treatments but plan to continue seeing Doc & his awesome team! I've lower back pain for years that started as a teenager. I've lived everyday with back pain for years with no answers. A few years ago I was finally diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease and told there was basically nothing I do do for the pain other than physical therapy and pain medications. Until I took advantage of the New Patient Special at Garvey Wellness Clinic, I believed that to be true. I learned that one of my hips was actually lower than the other and that my spine was curved, which was what was really causing my pain. We set a treatment plan and after the first week of seeing Dr. Garvey and his team, I could tell a major difference. The nurse practitioner, was able to help with my daily headaches with the trigger point injections. I just finished my treatment and I am so happy to say that most of my days are pain free. The entire staff at the clinic are amazing, and personable. Each of them will know you by name and genuinely care for you before you leave on the first visit. I highly recommend Garvey Wellness Clinic. I am actually sad that I have completed my treatment plan and will miss seeing them as often but I even more happy with the results. Dr. Garvey was completely up-front and honest about my condition and even told me there is no cure for it...but that it is treatable to help manage the pain. Dealing with back issues for 10+ years now stemming from a back injury in 2005, forgetting what it felt like to live normal, I finally decided to try Chiropractic care. After the initial visit to Garvey Back and Neck Clinic, Dr. Garvey identified the issues and discussed them in great detail with me, and thus a plan of therapy was implemented. After a few visits, I have started to realize what it felt like to have some normalcy again. I highly recommend Dr. Garvey and staff and for very good reason. I started going to Dr. Garvey about 5 years ago when my lower back pain became unbearable. I had sciatic pain and shooting pain down my entire right leg. The MRI revealed a herniated disc and the neurosurgeon I visited recommended that I find decompression therapy or just continue with pain meds if that helped at all. I could not sit down or ride in a car for any length of time without unbearable pain so I was desperate for relief. After a consultation with Dr. Garvey he understood my issue and the recommended treatment protocol provided immediate and now ongoing relief. I now visit the office happily every 4 or 5 weeks for maintenance adjustments and decompression. I live pain free and can now do the normal activities that became so difficult like just everyday travel, walking, exercise and bicycling. I am extremely grateful to have found him and would encourage anyone with similar symptoms to seek help sooner than I did. Ignoring it does not make it go away! The visits are also economical and covered by insurance and discount programs.
